  1. So nasa Hollywood sya pero basically Pinoy writers/producers pa rin? In other words, naka-rely pa rin sya sa kasikatan ng "Liza Soberano" na inayawan na nya nya...Ok 🤷‍♀️

    6. Syempre she wants the best of both worlds but can't really deliver much on her acting. Honestly, she needs a ton of workshops, not the PH type of acting though where everything is overacted.

Liza is getting some projects both in the US and South Korea, she has TV guesting, some movies and upcoming projects. She is working and if you think it is easy to land a role in a movie or TV?
the chances are 1 in a million -- you will fight against thousand people who audition for the role.

from shooting to showing the movie or TV on the big or small screen.
Doon ka lang magkakaroon ng exposure.

At least, she is trying... hindi naman katulad dito sa pilipinas na with looks at may push ng network, eh- di okay at pwede na maging superstar. Hollywood is a different wild beast, napaka-hirap.

She gets to work with Filipino-Americans actors and producers, it is building networks. Exposure is important for auditioning for next projects

Jon Jon Briones is a Filipino-American who appeared in American Horror Story, American Crime Story and Ratched. He was in Miss Saigon.

Liza is starting her footing. She really needs to be a tough and smart ass. Contunue to hon her craft as an actor in order to survive in the Hollywood jungle.

    19. Though I find Liza’s rebranding vlog full of unnecessary drama, I am happy with this news about her. Kahit na sabihin ng iba na puchu puchu ang project nya at least she’s chasing her dreams. Hindi lahat nabibigyan ng pagkakataon na ganyan. Kaya go lang Liza. Everyone needs to start somewhere.

    24. Oh ano naman kung Pinoy Writers/Producers? Wala bang K lumevel Pinoys sa Hollywood world?!!! Chura mo

      Delete
    25. 1.28, masyadong exagg ang pinagsasabi mo. agents are contacted by casting directors as per sa requirements ng role. And do you really think na ang casting directors would sit for months to complete the auditions of thousands para sa iisang role?! I’m not being nega, just honest.

    26. Lola, it's an international film, a Hollywood film to be exact.

    4. Crab mental ang mga Pinoy. Aminin natin. Hollywood talks of inclusivity so people can relate to the character they see on screen. But the thing is, ang Pinoy they like to watch people that looks completely different from them. Hence, their obsession with foreigners. We got a long way to go. It should start from here not in Hollywood.

We like foreign films not because “we like people that look completely different from us” but because we want to see quality films and value for the time and the money that we pay for these films. duh!

  9. Liza has to start somewhere. If it means working with FilAm directors, producers and actors, why not? Ang career sa Hollywood, or any career for that matter, hindi naman yan magte-take off agad agad. It might take her years but what's important is she's trying and working on it. Kung hindi siya magsucceed, wala siyang regrets because she chased after it, baka talagang hindi lang para sa kanya. Kung masungkit naman niya yung pangarap niya eh di good for her, worth it lahat ng pagod at sakripisyo niya.
