Maybe the term imposed was too strong or not the right term but I don't think the commenter meant it the way you understood it. From what I understand, JLC was groomed to project a certain image para sa TV which is completely opposite sa totoong buhay. I don't think 11:52 was even pushing that narrative na he was trapped. It's really nice to be surrounded with creative and talented people. May point sa buhay mo na gusto mong kausap yung mga taong hindi superficial o tsismoso. Parang mental exercise kumbaga. Namomotivate ka to think differently and discover another side of you. It all makes sense how this has influenced JLC's lifestyle especially yung pananamit. Yang mga nakapaligid sa kanya are the type of people na komportable na sa sarili nila, and they don't have to impress or please other people. I'm in my late 30s but I still haven't found my true passion so good for him for finding his. This must be the real him na matagal bago niya nahanap.
I think jlc just wants to live a normal life now. Life's so ironic noh. Those who live a normal life wants to be rich &famous. And then one gets to that status like jlc and then what? He maybe just wants to enjoy a normal time where he's not hounded by people for photos or criticized for looking rugged & ordinary. I hope people would be kinder. Just bec he's got a lot of money doesn't really mean he should put up with the people's idealistic and unrealistic expectations from him...
9:33 AM - Dong Abay is a musician though so they're not all actors. More of highly respected in their fields of acting and music. I still think Dennis Trillo is the better actor than JLC but the gritty artsy lifestyle agrees with JLC more.
