    10. Thanks but no thanks to profits-oriented businessmen and media who in partnership tried to belittle and change the mindset of Dark-and-fair skinned ladies, resulting in continuous ringing of cash registers; (and banks are very happy, too! while these "romantic fools" thought they look beautiful when their skin-color changed. Pity to those "trying-hard cinderellas and their colonial mentality! 🥺

    11. Mukha daw madumi but if makinis naman kahut anong skin color di naman madumi tignan. I used to buy self tanners dati pero ewan ko di bagay sa undertone ko. Mukhang orange and very unnatural-looking. Decided to embrace my color na lang.

Majority of the Germans supported Hitler during his regime...nasa tama ba sila?

      Delete
    16. 9:51 people like you keep the gluta business afloat. people like you who bullied morenas in school into hating their own skin. the colonial mentality got a chokehold on you it’s tragic.

    17. Wala bang face reveal ang nagpost anonymously nyan?! For all we know, mas maitim pa sa tilapia yan at tiga-roon naman yun! Baka mukha rin siyang tilapia.

Pwede ba, love you own skin! As in, kung hindi mo balat, wag mong pakialaman?!?

    19. I think it's not called colonial mentality kasi ano na lang ang tawag dun sa mga caucasians na nagpapatan color, colonial mentality din?! Hindi di ba?

      Delete
    20. kaya nga 2023 na in a few, colonial mentality pa rin? mga kagaya ni 9:51 nasa panahon pa ni padre damaso

      Delete
    21. 12:49 girl, they are called colonizers. They don’t have deep rooted issues about looks the way indigenous people they colonized do.

      Delete
    22. 4:47 it's not about colonial mentality.

Laklak gluta all you want, but don’t bash others na morena or hindi maputi. Yung mga caucasians na nagpapatan, hindi naman sila nagdidiscriminate, it’s always the other way around, kaya colonial mentality.

      Delete
    24. 1.51 If they don't have beauty issues then why they love to do tanning?? Your argument don't make sense. Pls read 2.03's comment, it made more sense.

      Delete
    3. Putting sunscreen will help with skin cancer and UV rays but won’t block your skin from being darker. FYI

      Delete
    4. Dear, sunscreen does not prevent you from turning dark from the sun! It only helps you not to burn and protect your skin from aging fast from the sun’s effects. For sure nag sunscreen yan si Nadine because her beauty and her skin is her puhunan. And alam naman siguro niyan basic skincare.
I have been to a beach straight 17 days of full Indian ocean sun, with 80spf pa yet I got dark as teak wood but my skin was not burnt at all, and for sure protected from sun’s harshest effects. That’s the purpose of sunscreen.

      Delete
    5. who said she doesn’t? sunscreen doesn’t stop melanin. it protects from harmful direct sun rays.

      Delete
    6. I'm sure she's well aware about the importance of sunscreen and I'm pretty and I'm sure she's putting it on as needed.

  43. Sadly when she is all dolled up with makeup glitter galore it forms an illusion. Her shots are in awe but end of day stripped off without the makeup limelight the persons true color and looks are revealed. Often people will judge how photos magazines pictorials are presented then when they meet or see the person they see a totally different person. In other words if they were not showcased you probably won't look twice at them...that is the reality...their true skin color appears especially being in the sun...Morena is beautiful but some skins are either smooth ashy dark light bright rough that's reality. It's not harsh when a person sees a totally image of what you put out and then captures a totally different image in person...they just are most likely being truthful to what they see....wether we like it or not perception is in the eye of the beholder yes but what what we put out is to be expected of criticism...the world is not perfect...

    3. My dear, it's not the "truth." Clearly this is colorism from our colonized roots. Dark skin is not "pulubi" or or a lower level then fair skin to start with. Our colonizers put that idea in our head.

Lol

  58. no celebrity would be happy to see a photo of hers with an avid fan used by another, with or without permission, only to be lectured on/ridiculed or be used an object of ridicule. whether or not she uses sunblock is her and her skin doctor’s concern. some people lack common decency tapos pag kinorrect mo tatawagin ka pang oa, pawoke or nega.

  65. I don't think she's being rude or patola.

  67. Morena, means may pang beach, may time! So inggit pako kay Nadine. Go girl!

  69. Ako, mala Snow White ang puti from being part Spanish. But I find those people discriminating others because of their dark skin...pathetic and insecure! Masaklap, kapwa Filipinos pa ang sobra mag-judge. Pati yung kung maka "pango", when most Filipinos have that kind of nose and something that shouldn't be called an ugly feature.

  70. Kahit nakasun block mangingitim po kayo if todo bilad sa araw... It protects cell structure, pero and melanin nagbabago talaga with light exposure. May salt exposure pa sa beach, nakaka exfoliate, then exposed newly exfoliated skin to sun, so iitim kahit nakasun block sa beach. Pero hindi ka hahapdi sa sunburn.

  71. As if maputi ang basher luuuh kakagigil mga ganitong klaseng tao. Nadine is super pretty and sexy kahit suntanned skin nya. And pakialam ba nila sa kulay ni Nadine.

  73. Sigh! Sa Australia that skin is beyond beautiful 😊 and for me it’s beauty Queen 👸 #peaceandlove shout out sa mga panget na laitera at puno ng inggit sa katawan. When I said panget it’s not only physically but all the way ha!!! Kaloka!!!! Sakit kayo sa bangs 😚

  75. If the page said Nadine's skin has signs of what you typically see in sun damaged skin then may point si page because I do think her skin looks weathered, like Andie Eigenmann. Understandable because of their current lifestyles and place of residence. Because you can still get tanned and protect your skin from sun damage - like Pia, she's a good example of mestizas who prefer to get tanned but avoid damaging their skin in the process.

But I think the page just wants to say na just because umitim na si Nadine, sira na skin nya and pumangit sya which isn't the case. I don't remember Nadine being fair the way Julia or Liza is, pero I think her dusky skin always suited her the way Kathryn or Angel (Aquino or Locsin) look good in their morena skin tones.

  76. What the fck is wrong with being dark? Kakasuka talaga ganitong mentality ng mga Pinoy. White people even go to salon just to make their skin darker. Even if I was Nadine, I would call out that person. Para bang maling mali ang pagiging maitim. Trash

  77. Sisihin nyo yang mga beauty company at mga artista din sila nmn nag uudyok satin na dark skin is not good lage my gluta ek ek mga beauty company lagi ina advertised na dapat maputi kaya ganyan mentality ng mga pinoy ayaw sa baluga!!!

  78. subtle pa yung translation ni FP. Bisaya ako at yung post ni siargao secret ay wala na sa lugar. ni lookdown talaga si nadine being dark-skinned. lagum means ubod ng itim and it was not said in a positive or funny tone but pang insulto talaga!

Generally, sunscreens are designed to protect against UVA rays, which promote skin damage. Sunblocks, however, are formulated to stop the damage caused by UVB rays, the kind that cause a sunburn. But many sunscreens and sunblocks tick both boxes, helping to prevent wrinkles and sunburn.

She's a celebrity who needs to maintain good skin and for sure, being a beach person she's properly informed about those things.

Umitim lang ako, dami na inassume about me. Bakit ganern tayo, pinas? Why we see dark skin as dirty? Dig deep within to understand your stereotypes.

Okay lang maitim basta mabango in real life. Prove them wrong with your good hygiene nalang noh.
