    1. I agree! Easier said and done. I never really understood how and why the victims will just shut down and not report to the authorities. But when it happened to me, I got scared to report to the authorities. And when my sister was sexually harassed (the guy masturbated beside her) in a public vehicle, I stood with her and reported it to the authorities. Sadly, they only laughed it out and even had the nerve to say “ he came happily” like wtf! Take note, one of those officers is from the womens desk. It’s sad and it’s so bad that people are still ignorant!

Why not open the discussion and teach the men/boys not to force themselves sa girls? That touching a woman/girl without her permission kahit sa buhok lang yun is bad?! Masyadong macho society ang Pinas. Mindset change kailangan dyan.

      Delete
    5. 6.01 You have a point but you can only do so much. You cannot force them to do what you want. If they want to do something bad they can BUT there's a consequence to that. That's why there is a law in place for that. Your 'open discussion', 'change of mindset', 'teach the men/boys' proposal are good but it has no teeth; it's only a flip of a tongue, hence, it will not work.

That's why the 'laging yung babae ang sinasabihan at kailangan mag-ingat' is good and effective. But if you are tired of it because you are questioning it by saying 'At saka, bakit laging yung babae ang sinasabihan at kailangan mag-ingat' - well if you want to test the criminals, and the addicts it's up to you.

      Delete
    3. Dear si delima lang ba pwedeng lapitan? she can hire a lawyer and request one for free too but she's not doing it

      Delete
    4. 12:38 fake news mo naman. Lahat si De Lima may kasalanan ano

      Delete
    5. Yes it is hard to sue but that is not an excuse not to. If you need to vent, go to your friends or get therapy. May nakita nga ako interview sa toni talks na she was gangraped and she was able to free herself from the pain and anger. Kat should badly get help as in asap!

    6. Sabihin mo kaya yan pag nangyari sau yungnangyari sa kanya

      Delete
    7. 8:24 wow! So kasalanan niya na may iba pang biktima? May you find peace.

      Delete

      Delete
    9. I dont know what i will do but definitely, i will not use social media and try to get sympathy from online people. Whats the point!?!

      Delete
    10. Mahirap magdemanda ng rape that took place many years ago kung wala kang police report at medico legal to support your claim kaya Dapat pag nagahasa ka, pa-medico legal agad at report Sa pulis.

      Delete
Sometimes justice is served through socmed, awareness is brought to the forefront.

      Delete
    12. 8:24 eh di gawin mo pag nangyari sa yo. Napakadali kasi eh no? You are invalidating other people’s trauma and experiences dahil lang easy for you to say. 🙄

      Delete
    13. Its not about invalidation 8:24. Just saying social media is not the proper venue for it. She needs to get proper help and the bashing she gets from socmed will not help her journey. The fact she is making patol to bashers mean she is still in deep sh*t. Professional help is what she needs, not Twitter unless her Psychiatrist will encourage her to be active to socmed and be open to bashing which is highly unlikely.

      Delete
    14. 8:32 malay mo she is already seeking professional help. You can do both at the same time, see a psychiatrist and vent on socmed. Minsan yan lang talaga ang outlet mo for social injustice.

      Delete

      Delete
    4. Anu gusto mong proof? Video?

      Delete
    5. 12:42, so what should she have done after the incident, inspite of shock, etc, not all victims realize what happen and are strong enough to ‘collect evidence’ as you say. What will she gain by her accusation?

      Delete
    6. 12:42, just because wala syang proof, it didn’t happen? Utak mo nakain ng amoeba!

      Delete
    7. 12:42 anong proof gusto mo? kumuha sya ng picture while she's being raped? gusto mo nag record sya sa mobile nya habang hinahatak sya at ginagahasa?

      Delete

Pero to answer your question, sana after niya na-rape, nagpa medico legal siya. Medico legal nakakaalam if na-rape. I was raped when I was 16 (obviously underage ako, he was an adult) by someone close to me.

      Delete
    10. 1:20 hello teh, kaya nga yung ibang rape victim hindi maka-come forward dahil by the time na they are brave enough to come forward, wala ng evidence. May trauma yan and shame kaya yung iba tinatago na lang yung experience nila because no one will believe them.

But they were sure kung sino rapist nila and they have undergone medico legal examination kaya naimbestigahan, nakasuhan at napakulong ang mga rapists.

    6. Girl, read and learn. She complained but was told to shush up. May protector ang lalaki na un noon

      Delete
    7. 9:49, you said it yourself may protector “noon”. Obviously ngayon wala na kaya nga nakulong, so what’s stopping her from filing a case? If she attempted to file one before, it means she has the evidence to back it up, so again what is stopping her from bringing it out and filing a case? If it happened 9 years ago, she still has 11 more years to file a case. Isama na din niya those who attempted to silence her.
She has nothing to lose dahil alam naman na ng lahat ng tao ang nangyari sa kanya. Why is she afraid to file a case?
According to previous comments may mga nagvolunteer pa to represent her and yet she chose to speak about it in social media instead of bringing it to the proper forum.
And before anyone labels me as a fan of that comedian, let me tell you in advance that I was and never will be a fan.

      Delete
    8. @4:24, rape is a very traumatic experience and after ng lahat ng nangyare sa kanya - to not be heard and no one was willing to listen to her, instead na sa kanya kumampi siya pa yung nabash, hindi na kagulat gulat na wala na siyang tiwala sa justice system sa pinas. This whole thing made her miserable, she suffered depression and contemplated on ending her life. So kung yung way niya lang ngayon is to post on HER socmed, then so be it.

      Delete
    9. The hell you care if she file a case or not. You don’t have the right to decide for her. Anong problem mo? You don’t even have the right to invalidate kung sinabi niya na rape siya. Edi kung ayaw mo maniwala edi WAG MO after all hnd ka naman JUDGE to tell whether speculations lang ang lahat or what not! She’s decent enough to let Karma do it’s work. Wala ka ng pakielam kung mag file man siya ng another case ngayon or hnd and that doesn’t mean hnd siya na rape.

      Delete
    2. 12:13 agree! And I think this is why she’s experiencing victim blaming. She already took her first step of being brave and opening about her situation when she shared it in soc med. I guess people were anticipating that she would have done something about it. Since there’s none, people are assuming she’s all words - no action. However, writing about it in soc med might be one of her coping mechanism. Who are we to judge anyway. It’s her predicament, she will heal at her own pace.

      Delete
    3. 12:13 what do you know bout what she's done, you insensitive troll. Do you think healing from trauma is that easy? you should be the one to stay away from social media

Bukod na sa nakakaloka na tingin mo the only way a person can learn empathy is for them to also suffer rape (mej nakakatakot din mga kagaya mo), women can also be rapists. If babae ka at wala lang empathy sa kapwa mo babae, then baka internalized misogyny 'yan.

And we were like a broken family, no parents by our side. Ang hirap mag speak up when you know na walang maniniwala sa yo. You only have yourself to cry on and lean on. It stopped when i got older thankfully. I forgave them and life moved on for all of us. But i also had the same experience naman with a former boss abroad. Yun talaga ang nakakagigil pero wala ka magawa because you’re in his territory. It still bugs me up to this day. I think masyado yata ako namanhid na, andami ko na din pinagdaanan…Im thankful i got through it all. But not every victim is the same and so we need to broaden our minds. Iba iba tayo ng pag cope. 37. Sus. Hindi victim shaming ung manghingi ng evidence. Legap procedure un. If someone accusses her of something, for sure ang una nyang sasabihin, asan ang ebidensya. Kung puro sya ganyan, its either di sya nagsasabi ng totoo o wala syang ebidensya. So kung magdemanda man sya, mapapagastos lang sya.

    1. 2:34 it’s victim shaming yung g na g pa kayo na kesyo wala syang ebidensya etc. kung concerned talaga kayo sa legal procedure, you can say it nicely, hindi yung puro bash at lecture.

    2. Madali ba makakuha ng ebidensya sa ganyan? She has nothing to gain but more to lose by speaking up. So let her be because thats her way to cope.

  39. Prove it in court. One is innocent UNTIL proven guilty. This is A FACT anf i'm not passing judgement. so whoever will say that I'm an enabler... know the law before you judge me.

  40. i don't agree with victim-blaming nor criminals not paying for their crimes. but I also don't agree with bringing out issues in the court of public opinion. kahit ano pa gawin natin, if she refuses to bring the case to court - and that's her prerogative, the alleged rapist is also protected by law to be INNOCENT until proven otherwise.

sadly, both parties lose in this case. ang mga marites at keyboard warriors lang ang panalo.

    2. True. In addition, kahit pa true ung allegations ni Kat, it doesn't prove na true na rin ung allegations nung ibang girls.

  41. If the culprit/s are capable of bribery and has connections, it's useless to file a case in court. The Justice System we have is Selective Justice. Only the rich and powerful are ALWAYS on the winning side. Been a victim of injustice and I can say it's JUST TIIS nalang. All we have to do is to vent it out to lessen the pain and burden. ✝️

  42. FYI DON SA MGA NAGHIHINGI NA PROOF. Within 24 hours nakapagpamedico legal ka dapat at sumbong sa pulis. Para madampot agad BUT IF YOU FAIL TO DO IT WITHIN 24 HOURS AABUTIN NA PO NG TAON ANG TRIAL. paano po yung mgs natrauma. Nadiri sa sarili nla. Natakot within 24 hrs. Imagine for years mong ipprove n nirape ka.

  44. After a friend was falsely accused by somebody he sort of rejected ayoko na basta maniwala sa ganyan. And they said the same thing, bakit sya mag iimbento? Wala satin may alam anong nangyari. Pwedeng may R na nangyari. Pwedeng hookup regret. Pwedeng two drunk people.
