    1. It’s not just about the money or material things kapag nasunugan. Pano kung nasunog din yung may mga sentimental values, mga pictures, etc.

    2. Kahit covered yan, insurance takes wayyy too long to start paying. They make you go through hoops etc before paying up.

    6. Personal belongings yon ang mahirap mabawi like impt documents and pics.

    7. 1:41 it depends, personal properties may also be covered depending how much the amount was declared when the home insurance was applied

    8. 1:41 home insurance coverage in America includes dwellings (the building, detached garage, shed), the personal properties which is your belongings then there’s the liability, in case a third party gets injured in your property. However, it’s the homeowner’s choice of coverage on how much he/she wants to insured in addition to the mortgage balance of the property. If you have a mortgage, you need to have insurance at least equal to your mortgage balance as required by your lending company. So if the homeowner choose a small coverage for personal belongings, then they have to suffer a great loss in the event of fire or other casualties.

    10. 1.41 theres a thing called content insurance. Hoping meron si jaya nyan

    11. 1:41, here in the US. insurance not only covers the structure (house) but also covers personal property like appliances, jewelry , furnitures etc ( that's why it's important to take pictures of your belongings), hotel expenses if you need a place to stay temporarily, other structures in the property like shed, unattached garage. If you have an umbrella policy, your insurance will cover lawsuits if someone is injured in your property other properties like motor vehicles. If the house is a complete loss, insurance will pay for the building of a replacement home to the limit of your insurance coverage.🙂

    16. Akala ko na renter sila? If so, renter’s insurance will cover for loss of their things. Required ba sa State nila ang renter’s insurance?

  7. Ang mahal ng mga bahay sa US but most of them are made of wood and osb board na nilagyan ng exterior cladding. It's the fastest and cheapest way to build a house and retains heat well during winters, unlike here na cement and steel ang new builds. Kaya pag may sunog, flood or strong typhoon grabe din ang damage. Hopefully they have insurance.

    1. 😂😂😂 so super quality ang pinas? No wonder why you don’t have any damages when there’s typhoon. Kaya pala Yun ang secret

    2. 1:53 I'd rather have a house made of concrete and steel planned by an architect and structural engineer than a home in the US worth $200,000 up na puro kahoy ang framing, osb board and drywall partition. FYI, our house withstood Typhoon Odette last December with no damages whatsover, magaling ang structural engineer namin. 😜

  8. Sad news. Pero kita natin dito why sharing a wall with neighbors isnt really ideal. Maingay na, unsafe pa.

    1. Sharing what wall with their neighbor? What picture are you looking at? Their house is pretty close to their neighbor but not sharing a wall. Lol!

    2. 12:52 I meant the usual setting in the philippines. Dikit na dikit sa neighbors kaya mabilis kumalat apoy at damay damay.

  10. anong no worries. you don’t know what it feels like to lose your house.

    1. True. Even if insurance pays for almost everything, it's hard to replace memorabilia that like photos, sentimental things like diplomas, letters and cards, important paperworks like titles to properties, birth and. Marriage ertificates, school stuff, your personal collections etc. Although most can be replaced, it takes time and so much hassle. Stay safe everyone.

    1. I feel sorry for them but glad they are safe . Other than their safety , I feel sad that they lost personal mementos that might be really important to them. Covered nga ng insurance lero may mga bagay na hindi kayang bilhin ng pera.

    2. 9:16 ang hilig mo siguro mag overthink sa buhay and you must be a hoarder too. Everything is digital these days, the little items they lost can be easily replaced.

    3. 3:18 ang kitid mo. Wala namang masamang sinabi si 9:16 nakiramay lang, hoarder na agad? At talaga everything is digital, sure ka dyan?

  21. You must be covered by a renter's policy to cover your losses. Because the property owner will only insure the building.
