And lalaki ako hindi babae. Example; SG: Para po sa gf or wife? Me: ah hindi Single.

    5. Say during that time, mga 200k-500k siguro ang 20 pairs of shoes niya before going back sa LV store. Pride that cost her that amount before.

    8. THEY SHOULD BUY FROM A DIFFERENT STORE AND GO BACK TO THE STORE WHERE THEY GOT DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND END UP NOT BUYING FROM THEM. KASI IF THEY BUY, MAY COMMISSION IYONG SALES ASSOCIATE!

      Delete
    9. True 4:23, she should have bought the boots from another LV shop. And sabay report na discriminated siya sa kabilang shop but she really loves the product. She just rewarded the SA's bad behaviour with commission. Swerteng maldiether!

Ilusyunada.

    3. Daming grammatical error ni Regine... like "wear A comfortable shoes", or "this shoes is..." pero ok lang, English is not our first language naman. šŸ˜†

Nakakarelate din ako nung kabataan ko, mas gusto ko pa bumili ng sapatos kesa sa damit, to a point that my parents or siblings call me Imelda Marcos. HAHAHA

    4. Kayo na ang mayaman. Kung maka tacky.

    5. 2:43 hahaha, actually parehas sila ni Ogie, si Regine wrong grammar sa pagsasalita and sa writing niya, notice her captions on her IG posts. but its ok, understandable.

    6. anong mali dun sa wear a comfortable shoes? mali ba talaga?

    7. 9:43 shoes, pants, shorts plural form kasi mga yan. So dapat “are”

  3. Noon kase late 90s, early 2000s medyo malakas pa mag discriminate. Noon, pag nakita Asian ka (or Immigrant) they ignore you kala wala kang pambili. Pero now, ang pinakamalakas bumili ng mga branded shoes/bags are Asians (pinoy included).

    ReplyDelete

      Delete
    4. Totoo,na experience ko yan.Sabi ng sales lady sa akin, are you going to buy because people like you do not buy.Ay kinrompal ko ng mga credit cards.Which one do you want me to use?

      Delete
    5. oo nga, i believe this and regime’s story. just wait pa till you reach a certain age, wala na masyado pansin sa yo. little do they know ikaw pala yung may pers.

    6. Next time that you are not served well by the sale staff, make a complain to the management. Go to the customer service counter and ask for the manager, demand for the manager and not a sales clerk. Report the unruly behavior of their personnel. Of it just a small store and it is in a mall , report the bad treatment to the mall administration office.

      Delete
    7. Yes ang lakas talaga ng racial discrimination during 90s and early 2000s. Kinekwento nga niya yung mga naranasan niya during her Asian music stint... Bawala daw sabihin na Pilipino sya

      Delete
    8. 12:50 not sure if I agree completely...a lot of americans don't buy designer because they're more lowkey than us asians. Protestant culture sila especially yung mga WASP, they'd rather spend on travel or other valuable things, or they invest the money. The kardashians and youtube influencers might be changing that culture, but most old school americans tend to be lowkey about wealth and treat others as equals regardless of socioeconomic status, unfortunately nasisira na yun ng current political climate/racial tensions. I'm a part time tindera at a rich neighborhood in NY and countless celebrities at mayayamang tao na ang bumili sa amin, wala ka makikita na nagfaflaunt ng designer items at di mo malalaman na napakayaman nila hanggang magbayad sila with a centurion card (although the wallstreet people have that aggressive, no-nonsense, borderline predatory behavior so you'll know who they are). I noticed na kultura natin ang maging judgemental when it comes to things, parang may inaassociate tayong status sa mga material na bagay. Ang tita ko na umuwi sa pilipinas na snob because she was wearing plain clothes at a mall and she had an old phone, they even condescendingly asked for an ID when she tried to pay using her credit card, tapos biglang respectful when they saw her NY license. I've also seen countless filipinos here in the US ruined by that same mentality, mga literal na nababaon sa utang but would still go for designer items for the status boost, or ang reactionary response if they feel disrespected in a store is to buy expensive stuff to rub it in the salespersons' faces, regardless if they could afford to do so or not (in reality they're as judgemental as each other). I've heard it's even worse sa west coast na literal na titingnan ka mula ulo hanggang paa ng mga kapwa mo pinoy. It's ridiculous, alam na pag naka lacoste na shirt, mk/coach monogram na belt/bag, tapos yung tory burch(dont even know if i spelled that right) na flats/slipper na kitang kita ang logo, at syempre yung LV hahahaha. At take note, sabay sabay na suot lahat yan plus apple phone at watch.

      Delete

      Delete

      Delete
    12. Hmm...madami na articles about that 12:29, specifically mga chinese mainlanders ang malakas bumili ng designer apparently.

      Delete
    13. 12:50 parang medyo mali ang pagkakaintindi mo sa 16T it’s not an utang as in cash. Also, if you really pay attention Americans are low key and not brand conscious (except sa mga celebrities siyempre) Pero they spend money sa ibang bagay. Pero yung mga luho like bags or shoes hindi. Like my husband and his family hindi sila brand conscious pero kapag oras ng vacation asahan mo yan talagang bongga.

      Delete

They even come in groups, wearing branded items.

      Delete
    16. 6:24 is so on point.

      Delete

      Delete
    18. 6:43 original kaya mga yun? Hehe dito sa NY pag nakakakita ako ng chinese na puros flashy brand ang suot from head to toe eh hindi na ako naniniwala na authentic lahat yunšŸ˜œšŸ¤. Can you blame mešŸ¤·šŸ»‍♀️

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Why wear a fake LV in the first place if she can afford the real thing.

      Delete

      Delete
    5. If this is true. Giselle deserves the treatment. Why wear fake and enter a legit store. Pwede nga syang ipahuli kasi bawal ang fake.

      Delete
    6. Mali ang kwento ni 12.40 walang dalang fake si giselle that time. She was discriminated upon simply because she was asian

      Delete
    7. Mali po yang story na yan! Hindi siya pinapasok sa LV store kasi they thought she's just a maid. Kasi she did a shows there and a pageant entitled Maid in London. Wala siyang dalang fake LV's , isa pa when you go to Europe with fake LV's or any luxurious item in their boutique pwede ka hulihin worst ipakulong.

      Delete

      Delete
    9. Niwala naman kayo ke Giselle 9:33? E super eksaherada yun.

      Delete
    10. 8:09 7:22 i watched giselles interview, sya mismo nag kwento. Kaya nung nadiscriminate sya at ang pagiging pinoy nya, she asked for thr most expensive bag but it was way too expensive, di nya afford kaya she asked for the 2nd most expensive bag at un ang binili nya watch her interview sa youtube. She herself said she was carrying a fake LV

    3. Ikaw naman, pwede naman nya gamitin yun, ayun sa meaning eh na dispirited or dejected sya, ayun sa cambridge dictionary, feeling unhappy or without hope, sabi nga ni meme reg, beri light, di naman nagtagal, coz she got the lv item that she wanted, di naman porket na depress ka eh kailangan pang matagalan to the point eh hirap kang makaget over, madaming scenario sa ganyan jusq

      Delete
    4. 12:43 depression comes in many forms, di lang clinical depression.

    6. to be called depressed dapat clinically diagnosed

Di ka ba mapapahiya at madadown for a while. She was just conveying the feeling.

      Delete
  7. I hardly believe that. First of all, how can you carry shopping bags with 20 pairs of shoes in them. Assuming 2 boxes can fit in a bag, those are 10 large and bulky bags she needs to carry. Ang bigat2x noon and I doubt all 10 shopping bags will fit both her arms. Kung hindi ka man pinansin, it is not discrimination, it's not hard to ask for help kung hindi ka napapansin, as SAs need to take care of the clients they have already committed to, otherwise it is rude na pabayaan nalang to accommodate her. She must have been unlucky on that store for not being allowed to try the shoes kasi as far as I know, these high end stores nowadays prioritize Asian clients (esp. Chinese) kasi nga sila yung bumibili talaga. I have had my shares of shopping sprees at fortunately, kahit gusgusin yung istura ko, hindi ko pa naman nfeel madiscriminate, all you have to do is ask. Huwag feeling entitled na SAs should prioritize you as soon as you march in the store.

    7. Dami mong alam. Di ba pwedeng may assistant sya? Akala wala syang pambili kc di sya kilala.

Imagine isang battalion silang pumasok sa NM at bumalik ulit sa LV dala2x pinamili nya, I find that pretty pathetic, actually. If she wanted to make a point she didn't have to leave the boutique, kuha xa 20 different shoes from a different SA and prove to the previous one that she can buy the whole store including that runway selection she was so eager to get. LOL.

    5. yeah that speaks volume about me and proud of it. minsan kailangang ilugar ang mga tao sa dapat nilang kalagyan.

      Delete
    6. Hmm, that implies na may dapat kalagyan ang ibang tao relative to yourself, so bakit masama sila if they think the same way, na may paglalagyan ka sa kanila? I'm not trying to be offensive or anything, I'm just trying to understand both sides...did you feel undermined at times dahil when you try to approach sales associates in the past to ask for assistance they blatantly ignored you, or you didn't ask for help but wanted to be approached and assisted cause you believe na that is the minimum courtesy when it comes to sales associates and customers? Maybe they wanted to give you space and let you browse first? Maybe yung "mukhang mayaman" na nakakasabay mo they see that person in the regular and alam nila na bibili yun if they push them a little bit more with sales talk? Maybe the sales associate is a jerk to everybody and it had nothing to do with you or how others perceive you? The assumption that they'll feel slighted if you rub it in their faces that you bought from a 'rival' store is pretty dangerous, cause in the end you are the one who loses money, hence you give them power. Regardless if sa kanila napunta yung pera or not, the bottomline ay they drove you to react/do something in response to how they made you feel about yourself...those little power trips have more adrenaline rush than making a sale.

  16. As an accomplished celebrity as she is, she should have known that her worth was more than just a pair of shoes. So much for the Pretty Woman scene.

    1. Lol true.

Pumasok ako sa Saint Laurent na naka work backpack, jeans, shirt and matching lunchbox.

  17. Buti nalang mas open na mga tao ngayon especially on the retail industry. I find LV salespeople friendlier than Chanel's at parang allergic sila when you ask for the price of the items. Try nya kayang magpunta ng Hermes at magtanong ng Birkin, sasabihin no kaagad, but if she stayed longer, and saw another customer being offered of it, paano kaya magrereact si Chona? hahahahahah

    2. Really??? Actually Louis Vuitton stores have a reputation for discrimination. Tingnan mo na lang yung reviews nila. Parang marketing tactic nila so you would do ego buying

      Delete
    3. 5:49. That's not my point, I know she can afford it, but in the spirit of "I felt discriminated" ako. Have you been to Hermes and straight out asked for a Birkin? They'd automatically say no. Like all the time. The store is known to heavily profile clients they are offering the Birkin too unless Oprah level ka sa popularity, then you can call them out publicly and receive an apology, otherwise, wala silang pakialam and that is exactly the kind of business I am not taking part of. No one, let alone a bag/a pair of shoes should make you feel less of a person or make you feel depressed.

      Delete
    4. If you need to ask how much is something, that means you cannot afford it

    5. Teh maski si Oprah na descriminate sa high end store sa UK,hindi siya kilala ng tiga LV.It was so funny dahil nakilala siya nung pinaka manager dahil tinawagan nung manager yung nag assist na ayaw pagbilhan si Oprah.

    6. Anyways mga teh, kasi most of the celebrities have their own stylists and shopper. They dont really do the shopping kaya nga minention ni Regine na usually sa online siya nag shop.

    3. 2:23 Ikaw dapat magcomprehend. Taga NYC ka ba? There's no Neiman Marcus in 5th Ave! The only Neiman Marcus na merong LV na katabi is in Roosevelt field mall.

      Delete
    4. @4:07 agree. Si 2:23 needs to comprehend. And yes di sya taga NYC. Regine referred to store near big LV as Neiman Marcus which is not. Assuming it’s the flagship on 5th Ave. it’s Bergdorf.

  35. Actually, sa US, unlike Philippine malls, walang tutulong sayo unless you ask for help. I went to the Philippines and everyone was trying to help me when I was just trying on shoes, isusuot pa nga sa akin. I found it weird. Anyway, thought I’d point out the difference and maybe she wasn’t discriminated against sa niemann marcus pero definitely sa LV. Bastos sila.

    1. 2:04 true! Dito self service lahat.

  36. Ang good vibes panoorin ni Ms Reg super funny pa. Every shoe has a story. Not boring unlike other celebs na nagyayabang lang. Her collection is to die for though! Kabog yung mga nagaalta-altahan

  37. I dunno mga beks di ako mahilig sa designer pero I have a feeling na if magdedepend lang ang mga sales associate sa hourly wage kahit high end store pa they'll prolly end up making just a little bit higher than minimum wage, so they're prolly coming in everyday with their head in the game trying to build clientle para makacomission, hence the profiling. I mean, can't blame them, retail jobs are crap a lot of times, very rare at swerte if you don't get beaten down by that type of job everyday. Imagine having a job that requires you to lie and take advantage of people all the time, and at the same time be at their beck and call hanggang i give up nila ang pera nila. They don't do it cause they're bad people, it's just inherent to the job they have...they gotta survive somehow. Sometimes you just gotta be thankful you are not in that situation, because that's how people cope. Yung mga bumibili ng mahal dyan just to show that they could afford it...uhm...I'm sorry, but I feel like you'll be the exact same kind of person who would sneer at "plain" looking customers if the roles were switched.

  41. Happened to me as well, wala daw yung style na hinahanap ko so umalis akong luhaan. Good thing hindi nya binili, so ako ang bumili. Ganyan ata talaga sila pag Asian ang customer, akala nila walang pera!

Vivian in Pretty Woman actually came back looking awesome and with all her shopping bags but she just told the saleslady that she made a big mistake. And did not buy from that store!
