    1. To me naman, if you get discriminated na buy from another store. Why give them the business e binastos ka na

      Delete
    2. For me naman... I just love proving these people wrong... lol! But you're right... I’d do a pretty woman scene... shop elsewhere and go back but don’t buy anything . Simple vindication.

    3. coz they're gullibles dahil they still patronize the store or brands kahit they have been treated as trash just to be in or for recognition

      Delete
  2. Iba talaga nagagawa pag celebrity ka, kahit the unfortunate event happened years ago na they still exerted effort to apologize, but if you're just an ordinary person shopping at a mall and experienced the same "Charge to Experience" na lang talaga ang ending.

      Delete
  3. Discrimination is everywhere. Fact. But it's good for our local celebrities to experience it once in a while esp abroad so that they're not out of touch with reality. Some of them already feel too entitled.

    1. This. Tama ka. Which should not be the case.

      Delete

      Delete
    3. 1255 well.. some Pinoys kasi misbehave kaya nage genaralize tayo

      Delete
    4. Kapag may nakita kang Pinoy na grupo kasi, maiingay na akala mo pasigaw laging magsalita.

      Delete
    5. Correct.Kala lahat ng Pilipino can't afford.

      Delete
    6. Happened to Oprah too.

      Delete
    7. Pinoys get generalized kasi. TNT, maingay as tourists, etc.

      Delete

    1. PR lang yan but they could care less. Major companies do that here in the US even with regular folks na nagcocomplain especially about being discriminated publicly sa media.

      Delete
    2. 1:39 *couldn't care less

  6. High end sales associates should remember, Customer is king. Kahit pa mukhang taga-bukid yang pumasok sa store nyo you’ll never know, sila pa pala yung mapera

    1. Isa ka pa e. Ano po ba itsura ng "taga-bukid"?

      Delete

      Delete
    5. Paano mo nalaman na taga-bukid?

      Delete
    6. 2:06 AM - madaming "taga-bukid" na milyonaryo pero simple lang. literally they have dark leathery skin because of years they toiled under the hot sun. tapos simple lang damit na parang galing sa palengke, because probably dun nga lang nila binili. pero their kids and apos attended the best and most expensive private schools in the country and pag bumili ng sasakyan (big a$$ pickups and SUVs because yan ang uso sa probinsya) CASH. and yep, may kilala akong ganyan.

      Delete
    7. 2:06 typical snowflakes. Hindi ka pa ba nakakita ng taga-bukid? Also, tumingin ka sa realidad. May point si 12:48.

      Delete
    8. 2:06 and 3:05 You’re detached from reality. Yung mga “taga bukid” that I’m referring to, I know them and have interacted with them. They have their own farms, mga new rich sila, but you can say they’re not keen on designer stuff - nor do they dress in your standard of fashion. Pero madami silang pera, CASH, and are willing to head down to Manila, go to a high end boutique and treat themselves every once in a while. They don’t look metropolitan like what you’re used to seeing. Get a grip. Go out and see the rest of the world every once in a while

      Delete
    9. I understand what you meant immediately 2:06. Masyado naman parighteous at pahyper sensitive kayo.

      Delete
    10. sa japan, ung mga taga bukid yun ang mga galante, mas mapepera pa sila kesa sa mga naka tie and coat na customers, dahil lang sa nature of work nila, kaya simple lang sila manamit, pero sarili nilang farm ung pinagtatrabahuhan nila.

  7. Bulaklak lang?? Dapat one pair of Shoes or an LV bag!!

  8. Ineechos lang naman kayo ni chona. Delusion nya ang eksena sa pretty woman.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Naku sis mas mabuti pa sa Japan. Sp accommodating and helpful mga SA nila.

    2. Pag ako ang tiningnan ng sales lady from head to toe, I’ll do the same and ask her “how much do you make a year? Do you make six figures to look at me from read to toe?!” Hahaha

      Delete

    4. That is so True. Dubai Mall nakaka sad mga pinay na sales associate sobrang taray but they seem more friendly and helpful to white westernener.

    3. Ganyan rin ako 1:14.

      Delete
    4. Ganun din ako. Iwas tukso na din and ayoko din sayangin both time ng sales associate and myself. Something I teach my kids as well.

      Delete

  14. Oprah was discriminated while shopping in Switzerland too. She was about to buy a 38k USD bag pero ayaw ipahawak ng saleslady yung mga bag na gustong nyang bilhin kasi there were too expensive daw, lol, akala mo sa bulsa nila manggagaling ang pambili

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

      Delete
  15. Maybe that was before, nowadays I noticed that they don’t discriminate like that. From Paris to US iyan, pasok ako sa mga high end stores and the SA are usually nice .I dressed simply too,Buti d ako ginanyan kasi I would simply walk away.I won’t even bother to prove myself na may pambili talaga ako.

    1. True, kasi alam nila Asians (majority Chinese pero pati Pinoys who go abroad na din), na ang may malakas na spending power ngayon! Super accomodating and special treatment na nga sa Asians ngayon all over the world pag shopping e.g. Europe may mga special Chinese shopping assistants everywhere and UAE may special tax refund na for Chinese. Kaya lets enjoy our glory days now hehe wag payag na apihin

      Delete

      Delete
    4. Hmm...asians care more about status. We actually put importance sa fact na others perceive us as someone who has money, sometimes to the point na people try to appear richer than they actually are, while westerners like americans don't give a crap whether people see their wealth or not, the only important thing is that they actually have wealth, doesn't matter who knows. It's not uncommon to see americans who only have one pair of shoes but have a lot of money invested in stocks.

      Delete
  18. Parang yung na-experience ng tita ko when the sales lady looked at her from head to toe. Tinignan din nya from head to toe tapos labas ng shop. Nakipagtarayan lang talaga sya kasi wala syang pera pambili. Masungit yun e! Hahaha.

  19. Kaya ako, di nako nag ma mall or pumapasok sa mga store. I simply buy online. Kase mas mura talaga and idedeliver pa sa bahay mo. Gosh im only 22 and unemployed pero i feel so mature sa move ko na yan haha

  20. Nangyari din sa akin iyan sa Singapore sa Chanel stores (Ngee Ann City Orchard Road at Marina Bay Sands) that same holiday namin.
Sa Orchard Road, I was looking for earrings and necklace naman. The staff didn't entertain me. So, I told her I'm looking for earrings and necklace. Ang sabi ba naman sa akin, "It's expensive" and not showing me the items. So, I told her with my head held high, "I don't care how much it is if I like it, I'll buy it cash". The ending, I bought 2 bloody expensive earrings. Sabi ng guard sa akin after, "Ma'am don't be in the queue next time you comeback. Just come straight to me".
Sa Marina Bay Sands naman, I went to look for necklace kasi I bought na mga 2 earrings as Orchard Toad. So, I went straight sa accessories area. Tumawag ko ang staff at sabi ko I'm looking for necklace. Aba at nag aalangan at sinabihan uli ako ng, "It's expensive" kaya same dialogue naman ang sagot ko. Then may nagustuhan ako at sabi sa akin limited edition daw 8 pcs lang sa Asia. Sabi ko, "I don't care. I like it and I'll buy it, CASH". Ayun at dinala kami sa VIP Room inalok ng drinks while waiting for our receipt.
True, naka shorts, tshirt and Havaiianas lang.

    1. To avoid any hassles from these high end stores, I simply asked my PA to book for an appointment so I can enjoy myself shopping without any troubles from low educated Sales Associate. Never turned up unannounced.

  21. Husband experienced the same sa Espadrille in Podium. He asked for available sizes of a pair worth 3,500 as his anniversary gift for me.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Flowers LANG damage control ng LV? Goes to show how little they indeed think of Pinoys. If she had used her star power and it had gone viral, irate liberal americans could really tarnish the brand’s image and drive sales down

    ReplyDelete
  23. Iba pag Regine Velasquez ka! Makapangyarihan! Good job LV!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sa Venice, di ako pinansin ng Sales Rep inside an LV store. I understood coz I looked tired and unimpressive due to walking around the city the whole day.
    I don't dwell on it

    ReplyDelete

At least di ako umuwing luhaan busog pa ako.

  28. The sad part is if it wasn't someone of stature as Regine Velasquez, it would be just brushed off.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Sa totoo lang Regine is more influential than she thinks she is. May mga reactions siya that reveals it. Siguro may fear of becoming a monster or getting criticized kaya she always tries to minimize or brush off compliments. Observation lang.
