    5. Mga Europeans like Russians, Romanians , Germans, etc. and from the US usually nagko compete at kung sa Asia , usually China or Japan lang nakakapasok sa gymnastics competition. Pero this time , first time ever nga na nakapasok ang pinoy at gold pa! Galing!

    2. 9:52 talaga ba or mema ka lng. He was funded by PSC and MVP sports foundation pra makarating jan s Germany at pati mga trainings nya. Nu b yan

      Delete
    3. It was funded by them

      Delete
    4. I think the government funded his training in Japan. Just like some other athletes in the world, they were trained sa ibang bansa

      Delete
    5. Did you know that the government together with MVP has been funding his training in Japan for the last 3 years and has been paying for the salary of his Japanese coach for the last 6 years?

      Delete

      Delete
    7. He has been supported by the government since beginning.

      Delete
    8. Although the government supported him, kulang pa din. A lot of private donors supported him even the Japanese government who let him train with the Japanese team and who gave him scholarship to be able to to school/university there.

      Delete
    9. Sana alagaan yan ng gibyerno because some athletes at yung chess player nasa US na,kasi nga kulang sa suporta.

      Delete
    10. YOu are clueless about international sports. REgardless of where the athlete trains, and importante is which country he represents. He carries the PH flag as he is still Pnoy kaya siyempre, proud ang government. He has been supported also the PSC when he was younger.

  7. I have seen his performance. It was so good. Napapanganga na lang ako kasi ang ganda ng mga landings nya and yung form nya while doing the flips.

    1. Meron yan tiyak. The current admin is very supportive sa sports at mga atleta natin.

      Delete
  19. Wow that’s amazing. Great job, congratulations!

    ReplyDelete

    2. I try kaya nila maging lowkey tapos yung tipong gugulatin lang tayo. Lol

      Delete
    3. totoo meron ngang nagsabi dti bkt masyado nka focus s basketball eh ang liliit nmn ntn, why not focus on football at baseball d kelangan ng height requirement bsta lakas ang labanan sna marealize nla yan

      Delete

      Delete
    7. Caloy is also funded/supported by MVP sports foundation

      Delete
  21. Congratulations!!!

  22. Congrats! Ang galing nakakaproud

  23. Good job Carlos! You make us proud!

  24. Wow! Gymastics is actually dominated by Europeans and Americans. It's surprising because he lowkey showcased how big his talent was, despite being the underdog in the competition! If it weren't for Lea's tweet, I wouldn't know about this good news. Hats off to this dude's HUMILITY!

    1. In every news article that I've read, it was noted that he was funded by PSC. His trainings in Japan and everything. Even this competition

      Delete

      Delete
    2. Correct! Mag research, panalo tayo pag boxing, billiards, bowling, gymnastics, weight lifting.

gymnastics, diving tayo dapat mag focus. its all about form and grace.

      Delete
    4. I agree with you 8.18... sa tingin ko din may potential tayo sa diving. Suportahan lang ng govt keri natin yan

      Delete
    5. I agree, that was also pointed out along time ago by Ms. Bea Lucero I think na sobrang advantage nating mga Pinoy na maliit tayo pagdating sa sports na gymnastics at diving.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Congratulations! Napanuod ko yan kanina, hanep! Ang bangis!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Holy mother of pearl yung nagstick lahat ng landing. Ang galing. Especially na he just came out of freaking nowhere. Usually USA, Israel, and Eastern Europe lang ang dominant at laging nagcocompete against each other when it comes to gymnastics, tapos biglang dinaanan lang niya silang lahat. Holy crap. Impressive as heck.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Sana manalo
To sa olympics.

  44. So proud of tou Carlos, you place the Philippines on the map of gymnastics.

  45. Galing. As usual yung walang endorsement at government support Ang nananalo. Basketball talo. Football talo. Rugby talo

  52. According to Japanese publication, quote "Yulo's early days in Japan were not without trouble. He had to find places where he could practice, and money transfers to him from his home country were often suspended.

From this spring, Yulo started to receive support from the Olympic Solidarity program, a joint initiative by the International Olympic Committee and the Japanese Olympic Committee designed to support athletes from developing countries and regions".

Philippine government please support promising kid athletes. Please don't rely of the goodness of other countries, otherwise mag migrate sila sa countries who supported them
