  1. I am a lgbtqia ally as well. I don’t let religion cloud my judgement of others. At the end of the day, we are all people. It’s as simple as that.

    1. Why bring religion into it? It's not just religion that makes us be against the Sogie bill.

Do we always have to respond to their tantrums and give up our own rights for it?

      Delete
    2. Yes but Anne, how would you personally feel if a trans would tuck her junior while you’re applying make up at the same mirror? I just want these trans to respect woman’s rights as we (women) respect their rights as a person.

      Delete
    3. papansin much din tong si anne..

      Delete
    4. Don't bring religion into this. I say NO to sogie not because of religion but because of common sense. Because we have rights too, not just the transpeople.

      Delete
    5. If we are all human beings and our rights are covered in our constitution, then there is no need to add a Sogie Bill. This is just creating hate and confusion.

      Delete
    6. 2:11 “Trans people” are still people.

      Delete
    7. 1:37 someone else’s body or “junior” is not a part of your body, so why are you worried about that? their body is not your business, trans rights are human rights.

      Delete
    8. 1:37

You’re rights arent better than theirs. Hindi tinatapakan rights mo as a woman with the SOGIE. You will still have a job, you will still vote, you will still pay taxes.

Eh tayo nga binigyan ng anti catcalling bill which PROTECTS ARE RIGHTS AS WOMEN. If that isn’t a sign of our rights as women idk what is. (Yes, I know the catcalling bill applies to all gender but we all know women and homosexuals are mostly the victims. So yes I consider this bill, MY-a woman-bill)

      Delete
    9. I used to be an ally but when I did my research on Sogie and saw the effects in other countries,Its a NO for me. Anyways all the laws protecting all human beinga are already included in the constitution and the bill of rights.

    10. Please tell me in what sense the LGBT were discriminated? CR? Napakababaw!

      Delete
    11. Wait @12:59, what may I ask are your rights being trampled by the SOGIE bill? Is it your right to be a bigot and verbally abusive to people different from you? Really, I do want to know, what rights are being taken away from you? Your right to discriminate?

      Delete
    12. At 1:37 why would a trans tuck her junior infront of you?

      Delete
    14. OA naman si 1:37.

    15. 1158

Women's right to privacy. Most women feel uncomfortable, and even threatened when someone other than their gender enters.

May mga natatapakan ding rights ng employers, to choose employees based on their set parameters.

And those are just a few examples.

      Delete

      Delete
    17. 10:08 yes. Plus common sense. Please get some

      Delete

I wish you made this statement before your movie came out so we'd know how sincere you are about it. Gano katagal na issue to but you chose to remain quiet? Even with the Gretchen incident. So disappointed with you Anne.

      Delete
    3. Anne, check your priviledge please.

      Delete
  3. Sino ba ang LGBT+? Is there a foolproof way of identifying them? Kasi i'm getting the feels that anyone can just claim that he/she is a member so that he/she can use the law to abuse. This identification is so vague and parameters not clearly defined that it will cause more confusion.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. So true! And even if hindi lgbt related ung reason kaya sila nadecline, they can easily say it is para maipagpilitan gusto nila. Think about it, ngayon pa lang ganyan na.. how much more if this bill is passed?

      Delete
    2. Ito nga. Wala kasing parameters. Nakalagay ay "discrimination" pero what could be discrimination for one may not be discrimination to others. What if somebody else is more qualified pero sasabihin ni trans "I will sue because SOGIE!" Or if tou do or say something na di nila nagustuhan, they could use this law against you just because they are offended. Maglalabas din ba sila ng listahan ng mga salita at gawain na hindi pwedeng sabihin at gawin when you are around LGBTQ++?

      Delete
    3. 1:18 yun ang problema,it depends upon your interpretation of the law at lahat ng iyan can be taken against each other's gender. If you are not sure about your gender, then it is fluid. It will be changing.Kumbaga sa art,Abstract.

  4. Equality is not the problem.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Wrong ka. What OA issues are you talking about? The lack of equal rights and civil rights are daily realities for them? The issues are ongoing because discrimination against them in all aspect of life are still there. Gets mo? Isip isip ka sana and not give a blanket nonsense on something you have no idea about.

      Delete
    2. "Wrong ka" galing ng argument ah. Anything else? 😂

So paanong paraan aping api ang lgbtqia.

      Delete
    4. Hello, Gretchen Diez is demanding that storms & typhoons be named after trans too, not just men & women... Equality issue pa din?

      Delete
    5. 2:15 equality at the expense of others? bakit kailangan iba ang mag adapt para maging komportable ka? rights mo? panu naman rights ng iba?

      Delete
    6. Totoo yan.

      Delete
    7. Mas wrong ka 2:15. Their right ends when the right of the real women begins.

      Delete
    9. The problem here is the definition of Equality for Sogie is self serving.

      Delete
    10. 2:15 what lack of rights are you talking about when LGBTQIA freely roam the streets, they are in powerful positions. They are on TV.

  5. At least siya she's not afraid to speak up. Kudos to her

    1. I just wonder why she did not say something earlier, like before her movie came out. Nung kainitan ng gretchen issue.

    3. Gurl 1:28am may mga sinasabi siyang take niya sa showtime. Sa mga spiels nila ni Vice. Kalat sa twitter yun

      Delete
    4. This is different 2:25. This post is openly saying to the world what her take is, where everyone could see. Again, why just now?

      Delete
Playing safe sya that time kasi may movie sya and now this, bigla syang maglalabas ng statement after ng movie. I hope may politician/artistang babae who’d be the voice of her fellow women! Women should look after each other after all.

    10. 10:51 obviously madaming may ayaw sa sogie bill so kung ngsalita sya nuon, it’s suicide for her not promo. And calling us feelingera is an insult to women. Ganyan ba talaga kayo?

      Delete
    11. 1153 exactly. Why would she speak out then? And risk angering the people that could have watched the movie? Lol ang simple, d pa maget ni 1051.

And yeah, jan kayo magaling 1051 - calling us names. What more if it is?

  6. totally diaagree anne.hindi porket marami kang kaibigang LGBtq at magaling ka ng flowery english words ay tama ka na at kailangan ng ipasa ang bill.wag mong gamiting palusot ang discrimination, human equality.i respect them but it doesn't mean that i will conform to their lifestyles.dont be biased anne, binasa mo ba pati na ang mga loopholes sa Special previledge na Sogie bill?i can be penalized if i will say against them based on my religious belief,na may mas karapatan ang government over parents.ganito lang kasimple hindi nababago ng science,sa pagkamodern new era or sa ganda, talino ng pagsasalita mo ang Fact na ang ginawa ng Creator na gender ay babae at lalaki lamang,at yan ang nakabase ang law.ang lalaki is lalaki at walang makapagbabago doon, kahit gaano ka pa sikat sa tv at kabuting tao.at wag nyong ipilit tanggapin namin at bigyan kayo ng entitlement kung ano ang special na treatment gusto nyo.hindi porket trend, uso ,popular sa western other countries ay ipipilit mo na tanggapin na sa pilipinas

    6. We don't hate gays, just the rabid, always on the attack transwomen. Fyi some gays do not believe in Sogie too.

      Delete
    7. 10:53 there is no hate for gays, the problem is the sogie is self serving.

    3. Unang una,may impunity. Speaking of lisensya, hindi ba ang marriage is part of a social contract so bawal ka tanggihan ng kahit anong simbahan.

    8. 3:30 - natumbok mo.

      Delete
  8. The thing about the sogie bill is it can be dangerous, kaya dapat i-explain sya nang maayos, aba paano kung may negosyo ka nagkataon na bakla or foreigner etc ang nag aaply sa'yo o dahil dyan sa sogie bill you can't say no kasi it can be used against you dahil diniscrimate mo sila sa gender and race, simpleng joke nga lang na eh pwede ka na makulong, ma videohan ka, picture etc. saklap pa if your'e caught in a bad day, nakakatakot kaya na mawalan ka nang trabaho like the janitress na sumusunod lang nang rules, add that sa sports you can't say no to transgenders who would compete sa women sports eh natural na malakas ang lalaki. *yup i've read the sogie bill* tbh, ok sana equality for all pero na erase din yung rights mo into other things like free speech etc. kasi halos ma lilimit ka on what to say kahit joke sya. sogie bill is literally giving you an easy way to life, di mo pinaghirapan kasi it's a trump card you can use when you're desperate. Work, money, even love life, kala nang transgender win win ito? Nope. This will affect them too, kasi di lang sila ito, every discrimination na alam mo eh andyan na and those can be used against them too

    ReplyDelete

    1. Ito pa,pano kung kapitbahay mo mga gays or trans ngayon nagkakatuwaan, maingay then nagreklamo ka sa baranggay kasi may maiingay, next sinabihan ka ng mga yun na discrimination ang pagsita sa kanila dahil nagsasaya sila and it is a form of expression,so ikaw na nagreklamo ang kulong.

      Delete

      Delete
    3. 1:36 am I’ll try to answer all your points

You can still say no to a job applicant no mater the gender especially if they are not qualified for a job. AND kung womens right yung habol niya we also have a law for women for this example lang po of buntis kayo and hindi kayo tinanggap, thats bawal po. Same with religion po.And no mater the gender there needs to be valid reasoning on why you fired your employee or else ma-DOLE kayo.

As for the joke po. Us women have the anti catcalling law. What difference is that with the anti discrimination law on them? Bawal na nga mga cat calling for both gender. Considered as harassment ito. Name calling is also a form of harassment.

Your bit about the FREE SPEECH. Again, I would just like to point out na that doesn’t really apply since like I said we do have the anit catcalling law which in your thinking equals to silencing your FREE SPEECH. Kasi kahit joke yung pang cat call mo pwede ka parin makulong.

So what is it are you really fighting for? Because you can’t call LGBTQ+ names? Is that it? Because I've read your comment multiple times and you know what keeps popping out. The work NAME CALLING and JOKE. But since you already aren’t allowed to NAME CALL even in a JOKING manner. what are you really fighting for?

    4. 1:36

Do you even know what the bill is all about?
Here’s a summary so you can better educate your tiny little brain that has a hard time comprehending laws and things not found on facebook.
What the bills propose, rather, is the equal access of the LGBTQ+ to basic rights and services. It proposes the prohibition of the following discriminatory acts if made on the basis of SOGIE:

Inflicting stigma using the media, textbooks, and other platforms
Denying access to health and public services
Denying the application for professional licenses and similar documents
Denying use and access to establishments, facilities, and services open to the general public
Including SOGIE as a criteria for hiring or dismissal of workers
Refusing admission or expelling students in schools based on SOGIE
Imposing harsher than customary disciplinary actions due to the student's SOGIE
Refusing or revoking accreditation of organizations based on the SOGIE of members
Forcing a person to undertake any medical or psychological examination to determine or alter one's SOGIE
Publishing information intended to "out" or reveal the SOGIE of a person without consent
Subjecting any person to profiling, detention, or verbal or physical harassment on the basis of SOGIE
Preventing children under parental authority from expressing their SOGIE
Subjecting any person to any analogous acts that will impair or nullify a person’s human rights and fundamental freedoms
Penalties for those who commit any of the acts mentioned above range from not less than P100,000 to P500,000 and/or imprisonment of not less than 6 months to 12 years maximum, depending on the offense committed. (Courtesy of rappler)

Please don’t be that person. The not so smart one who thinks they know everything. Not a good look, honey.

    5. Trulalu. I've read it as well. Employers also have the right to set parameters. Di ba nag aadvertise sila na they want this and that age, preferred sex, certain qualifications, etc.

Pwedeng makulong.

    7. 4:36 so how are you going to prove then na kaya kayo hindi tinanggap sa trabaho eh dahil LGBT kayo? Kahit kaming mga straight, we have no idea why we are not hired but we don't take offense. 4. paanong equal rights ang yakapin ang rights ng mga lgbtq at the expense of my own rights as a woman? to have males purporting to be females become females in the eyes of the law? if they feel degraded in a society full of biases, ganoon din kaming mga babae kapag naging babae na rin sila. nakakainsulto in all its forms and shapes. at hnd ako matatawag na entitled o maarte sa lagay na yan. yan ang damdamin ko bilang natural na babae. kalabisan ba yun?

      Delete
    5. The bill itself insults other genders.

      Delete
    6. 2:10 it doesn’t work that way po. If a person isn’t qualified for a job the employer can not accept them no matter what the gender. Ang bawal po is of a person is qualified for a job pero hindi siya natanggap because of a gender. Same lang sa women who are pregnant pero hindi tinanggap KAHIT QUALIFIED kasi she's preggo and has to take a leave soon? Gets?
      Another example.

If an employee who is gay stole from a company or is incompetent with the job=the employer has grounds on firing them. Pwede po yun. Hindi sila makululong as long as may grounds and legit yung reason why they were terminated.

If a gay person is very good at their job. Ginagawa lahat ng utos. Hindi late etc = no reason to be fired but still got fired. Yan po yung bawal

Kahit anong gender ganun po. We have a due process on how to terminate employees.

Kahit sabihin ni employer na di ka qualified, but if you "feel" and you "believe" that you are discriminated against, pwede mo ipakulong. Isa sa provision ng SOGIE na walang pwedeng gawin ang magulang nila if they want to do it or else kulong? Pano sa sports, papayagan na sumali ang biological males sa womens sports because they believe they are women? Dahil pag hindi, kulong!

Like sa civil law, criminal law, marriage, VAWC, etc... lahat yan magkakaroon ng butas. Kaya hindi madaling usapin yang SOGIE bill, hindi yan minamadali. 26. Even without the SOGIE bill being passed, a lesbian (who is anatomically female) with bad intentions can still be in the same bathroom as other females and stare them down. Same with a gay man (who is anatomically male) within the men’s bathroom.

It’s all about respect and proper public behaviour. Your gender does not play a matter in this issue.

8:08 - on the contrary. Hormones and gender play a role in this matter and biological males are stronger. If they enter the women's bathroom, sinong mas dehado?

    3. True, they are making the criminal intent of anyone to justify their own bias and hate. Any man with criminal intention can dress as a woman and enter a woman’s washroom. It has nothing to do with the rights of transgender people. It’s just plain ignorance and discrimination.

Ako may kakilalang guy, nanuntok sya ng trans sa office nila. You know why? Hindi lang kayong trans ang harassed, pati actually males, so don't play as if you're the only gender who are victims in this country.

Kaya yung iba sa kanila, they just choose to keep silent na lang dahil natatakot silang mapagkaisahan.

But how about yung nagpunta ka sa store tapos mula ulo hanggang paa kang titingnan dahil muka kang walang pambili, maraming mga ofw at balikbayan ang mga victim ng ganyan kapag pumupunta sa stores. yung mga matataba at hindi kagandahan na tampulan ng katatawanan.
