  1. She needs to report them to the government. Bakit ka maghihintay ng 1, 2, 3, even 4 years?!?! My gosh, bawal at labag sa batas yan! Expose them.

    1. Big companies hire third party contractors to handle their events. It is the third party's responsibility to pay the talents.

  2. Pano yun after the event? “Thank you, next time ulit” ganun? Kapal ha

    1. Decency and professionalism dictate. Of course cautious din siya for her ongoing and future projects baka makaaffect

    2. Hi 1:19 Her half baked rants are not helpful if she will not going to tell the whole story.

Look at Ethel nag name drop ayun may progress na yung concerns niya.

    3. Meh, she is giving the client a chance to pay her without damaging them on social media. It’s smart actually.

    4. Chance after 4 years? Move on na. You will never get paid.

Napaka unprofessional!!!

  8. Doesn’t non-payment qualify as estafa? She can sue

  9. Kahibangan na yang 3-4 years na naghintay. Wala talaga silang plano magbayad. Drop the professionalism girl and name names.

  10. More than 3mo of non-payment, name and shame them! They should not hire public personalities for their events if they can not pay on time. I pity those who are not well-known, they probably got it worse.

My first job was almost daily OT-TY for about a year. Not even some snacks to help us tide through the tiredness of working at least 3hrs more than the normal timings. It was hard, but if there's one thing I can be thankful of, it's of rarely catching cold and cough/15 years and counting of no flu after daily inhaling the aroma of bundles of new and old bills.

    1. Buti kung may TY pa kami sa work. Mapapagalitan pa ng boss kahit puro libreng render ng 3h OT araw araw.

      May mga abusadong employer talaga

  11. So sad! This is why you need a UNION! If you're a member, go seek help and you should get paid with interest.

Gets?

  12. If you are allowing them not to pay you for 4 loooong years... you're also part of the problem.

    2. baks walang choice ganyan kalakaran. di ako artista pero one of behind the scenes matagal talaga

  14. Daming ganyan. Kaya I understand Lea Salonga sa rule nya if you'll get her as your talent, you need to pay in cash and in full.

  15. Hmmm, they should get better agents. That’s the agents job, to go after the employers for payments on time.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Naku, wala ba siyang agent to do that for her? Wala naman siya.

  17. Dapat lahat ng projects may contract. How much to pay, and when...

  18. Lol deeply ingrained ba talagasa kultura natin yung mahilig sa utang?

  19. It's quite common in the entertainment industry there - from TV, radio, print - even models have this problem. Labour law has no mandate, it seems.
