  1. Can you sue that impersonator for fraud or something similar? It's astonishing what others are willing to do just so they can fool others, at the same time hide using a different persona so that they will not be held responsible for their mess.

  2. I am a victim of Identity Theft thru facebook. Someone created an account using my name (Altho mispelled ang last name) and using me&my roomies pic as profile pic. His/her friendlist are mostly my officemates and foreigners. She/he messaged each one and asked for money somw msgs are saying I had an emergency blah blah. Some contents are borrowing money. Good thing one of the person he/she messaged is so close to me & she knows i dont have any emergency whatsoever and wala ako money issues. I had to visit her acct and msg everyone i knew sa friendslist nea to report & block her/him.

My FB is private so i am thinking its one of my fb friends na nde ko maxado close most probably from the office. Nakakatakot pala tlaga at nakakahiya. Sobrang nakakainis what i went through to fixed it

    1. Ako din victim back in high school. I transferred school after my 1st year because of bullies. Then around 2nd year may nag-surface na fake account using my name then added some of my schoolmates/classmates, random people from my new school. Sobrang hassle. It took 2-3 days for Facebook to take it down. Buti okay ang customer support ng FB. Don't want to think ill of those bullies, bahala na sila.
