11. She putting herself and baby in danger..lalo n 30+ n siya.but salute her hirap ng ginawa niya 25 hrs labor..6 hrs nga lang d ko n kaya

    ReplyDelete
  12. In my professional opinion, charot! πŸ˜‚ Seriously, if I get pregnant again, priority ko safety ng baby. I'm 30+ and that puts me at risk. I rather go to a hospital and give them your birth plan para in a way, masusunod gusto mo. And if magka emergency, nasa hospital ka na.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Anong trip nila? Its all fun ang games until mah madisgrsya, if I have money i wouldnt put my childs life in danger. Hindi ito OA. I know shes proud and all.

    4. Afaik, risky ang pregnancy nya. 25 hrs of labor is no joke tapos nasa bahay ka pa. Thank goodness safe sila both ng baby. If something had happened, anong sasabihin nya? Everything happens for a reason?

      Delete
    5. 4:45 haha dude, ikaw ang may problem. Walang sinabi si Rica or si 7:53 na high and mighty siya/sila nor did she give any indication of that. Their religion, their post... It's all about personal choices and I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

  17. You’ve waited & prayed for it for 5 yrs, took really good care of it for 38wks; labored for 25 hrs??ONLY to put him at risk for giving birth at home just because it was something you knew you can do. Wow iba lang-minsan ang lakas ng loob dapat may sense din kung saan gagamitin ( labored for 25 hrs then home birth can risk the baby to have hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy) na malalaman mo lang if baby has failure to thrive growing up at pwdeng mahirapan ng maagapan. But it can be detected early thru stress test while on labor kung nasa hospital. If you really prayed & waited for a baby for 5 yrs/ why risk his well-being just because?!?Wow lang!!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Exactly.

    3. True. There are situations na nagnonormal delivery ka na but for unfortunate event, bigla ka i-C-CS. Good thing it didn't happen to her. But I wouldn't takw that risk for me & my baby. I'll regret it for the rest of my life if something happens to him.

    4. Yung nakasabay q sa ward 30+ na age, nung nalan nyang buntis xa madlang nlng xang bumangon sa kama, babangon lang xa if papacheck sa ob nya kasi nga risky na for her age at risky din sa baby..nung nanganak xa diritso CS gusto nya..kasi nga daw 2yrs nla pinagpray kay lors yung baby nla kaya super ingat na ingat sila..

  18. Kanya kanyang trip yan pero....may mga 'what ifs' na kahit ayaw man nating isipin, kailangan paghanda. Mas safe pa rin talaga sa ospital

  19. Antay ko pic with placenta.

  20. I’m not sure what she’s trying to prove. I mean it could potentially endager her and her baby lalo na at sinabi niya na risky yung pregnancy. Anything could go wrong.

    1. I agree. Why do people go to great lengths just to come up with an "exciting" social media content? It's like standing on a precarious cliff to get "Likes" for an IG/FB selfie. Only this time, the life of an unborn child is also at risk.

VBAC is not advisable for everyone, let alone doing it AT HOME.

  21. May doula yan at for sure pinag-aralan nila yan, lalo ba yan si rica. Stop na pagiging nega since victorious naman

    ReplyDelete
To each is own.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Guys, have you heard of Doula?
    Vbac?
    Gentle Birth?
    Hypnobirthing
    Birthplan

I could go on and on, pero if you are not even aware of those mentioned above, better inform yourselves first before commenting how dangerous it is to do homebirth.

Legally, may stand-by OB yan, and there are Doulas (as in multiple) assisting the birth. She also had a VBAC, so that in itself proves how well-informed she is of her choices. You can not do VBAC without knowing HUGE risk and be prepared for it. It is just not right to say na “She is putting the baby in danger” as a matter of fact, I believed she has planned well.

Try to expand your knowledge and do a small research regarding VBAC - you’d be amazed how miraculous it can be :)

    2. there’s your BIG word “miraculous”- it’s taking chances & by some miracle it’d go through or it will work out. like what i said from my previous comment, if you’ve prayed & waited for a baby for 5 years will you put his well being having a “miraculous” VBAC AT HOME. Even with Doulas around- what’s the point of home birth anyways if you have gazillions of doulas on stand by??It’s because she knows she’s putting her baby at MORE risk giving birth at home that in a hospital & for me that’s selfishness. You can
prove motherhood & being good at it on other sensible things but this one it’s proving SHE CAN and SHE WILL instead of this is FOR THE BABY. She planned well? Maybe. She thought selfishly? Definitely yes. Labor for 25 hrs??She may think she suffered yet she made it and that’s her choice; but the baby to be under stress for 25 hrs? It was not his choice. And this my dear is on point selfishness.

    3. Yes, i did my 10+ years research. Still not recommending it.

      Delete
    5. I am the OP (original poster). I did VBAC. Studied for years also before I went ahead with it. I was made aware of all the risk. I am the mother. I get to decide how to give birth. Informed choices po. You want CS, fine. You want Natural birth, fine also. Why would you penalise or judge a mom who wants to do homebirth-Vbac? And who are we, mere spectators, to call her selfish?

Research po kasi bago kumuda, hirap sa atin, we blah-blah about some things with just little knowledge about it.

For the Dr commenter, hello Doc, I am sure you champion informed choices naman of the patients. If it’s her “informed” choice, respect.

Btw, Rica P. has said her piece already sa mga netizens questioning her birthing decision. She is a member of Gentle Birth Group in FB to which i am also a member. Nakakalungkot that she has to defend herself sa mga insensitive netizens during this time na kakapanganak niya lang.
