I suggest the hovt does not give in to her whims. Yung perang hinihingi ng mga yan ay gamitin na lang to support those struggling athletes. Hindi man magkakamedal, at least they really deserve the money.

Hidilyn has gone way over head.

    4. Jusko talagang siniraan niyo pa si Hidilyn tsk tsk. Nagkataon lang na may conflict yung lovelife niya sa career BUT the real issue is.

45k a month lang sahod nila as athletes. Need pang paswelduhan monthly at gastusan ang flight and accomodations for her team for training abroad for more exposure. No wonder Wesley So renounced being a Filipino athlete to play for the US flag. Ayun, world number 2 na si Wesley.

Hindi pwedeng wala siyang coach or trainer. Eto nga nagiging conflict ata kasi me assigned coach/trainer na siya e baka gusto niyang ipasok pa yung bf niya as trainer/coach din so para siyang boxer o bball player na me entourage ng mga coaches and trainers.

      Delete

1,500 salary walang 80k a month yan. Yung trainors nga sa gym 7k 10 hrs lang. Kaya nilang kumita ng more than 100k per month.

    ReplyDelete

    1. And what if Sir is actually telling the truth? Is it ok for you then that Hidilyn makes the government spend for her boyfriend? You said it yourself, she has to separate her personal life from her professional endeavours. It can work, but rarely. Why take the risk? Besides, she can have a relationship with him when she isn't training anymore.

    3. 3:30 wala naman kasing conflict dun unlike dito ke Hidilyn e me COACH NA SIYA AT TRAINER! Pero its either gusto niyang palitan mga yun ng BF niya or idagdag BF niya sa coaching/training staff.

      Delete

      Delete
  26. So many stupid comments here. Kung qualified trainer talaga ang boyfriend, why not pay according to its credential.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Is he qualified then? What can he offer that the trainers paid for by the government can't?

    2. 1:31 Delicadeza kc yon. I understand kung coach and trainor n nya yn dati pa BAGO sila magjowa.

Conflict of interest unang-una.

      Delete
    4. 2:15 kung qualified supalpal ka na.

    5. Have you seen the government coaches? Like for real? In almost any sport? Why so you think out athletes suck in any major sports competition? Kasi we dont have good OR qualified coaches. Beks may mga international coaching seminars and training sessions na need ng mga coach puntahan - so they can qualify and be certified to become an olympian coach. This follows for any sport. You think binabayaran ito ng psc? Para maka attend mga national coach natin? Haahha what a laugh. They pac officials Go and bring their wives and girlfriends to Shop. Anong akala n’yo? Intrams lang ito ng public School? Nakakaloka kayo. Mga mangmang

  28. Hidilyn should already withdraw from Team Pilipinas and forego the Olympic competition if this revelation is true. This issue is added weight on her (pun intended).

    ReplyDelete
  29. If proven true, kung ganito ka-Diva ang weightlifter, the focus should go to the rest of the struggling Philippine athletes-- ESPECIALLY OUR FILIPINO BOXERS. And BTW, Hidilyn has a condo unit sa Manila. Hindi sya "poor."

    ReplyDelete
  38. Kahit hindi pa sya atleta hindi naman talaga encouraged in a lot of cases na magkaroon ng romantic relationships between two people closely working together. Kasi conflict of interest talaga yan. Extra sakit ng ulo pa yan na pr-problemahin pa ng lahat dahil may important part yung jowa nya ng team helping her to prepare for the olympics.

  42. Ito ang comment post ni Former PSC:

DOES HIDILYN DIAZ REALLY NEED FINANCIAL SUPPORT?

Here are the cash incentives, salary, allowances and other benefits that Hidilyn Diaz received/receives from the government and private sector.

*For winning silver medal in Rio Olympics in 2016:

    1. Cash incentive of P5 million under RA No. 10699.
    2. P2 million additional cash from Pres. Duterte
    3. P500,000 from LGU of Zamboanga City
    4. P500,000 from the Senate
    5. Undisclosed cash amount from Sen. Manny Pacquiao
    6. Scholarship benefits
    7. Retirement benefits which is 25% of all her cash winnings throughout her career
    8. Free medical/dental consultation
    9. 20% discount on purchase of medicines, sports equipments, transportation, hotels, restaurants and recreation centers

*For winning silver medal in 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

    1. P1 million cash incentive under RA No. 10699

*For winning gold medal in 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia:

    1. Cash incentive of P2 million under RA No. 10699
    2. Cash incentive of P2 million from Phil. Olympic Committee (POC)
    3. P1 million from Siklab Foundation
    4. P1 million from Phil Ambassador to Indonesia Lee Hong

*2019 Phil Sports Commission (PSC) support to Diaz
    1. P4.5 million fund for trainings in China
    2. Provided her a foreign coach
    3. A new weightlifting gym has been constructed in the RMSC for her training

    *Monthly Allowance from PSC
    P 45,000.00

*Monthly base pay as Airwoman Sergeant
    P 32,756.00

    *Support from private companies
    1. MVP Foundation
    2. Alcantara and Sons

With these kind of financial support and benefits Hidilyn Diaz receives from the Duterte government and private sector, I’m wondering if she really needs additional financial support from private individuals and companies?

    7. Alam nyo ibig sabihin ng incentive? SHe earned that money. Alam nyo magkano sweldo ng strength and conditioning coach, head coach, nutritionist, rehab and therapy? equipment and facilites? Short answer...Hindi 45k a month. Magkano gastos every meet? Your whole team has to go. Magkano flights? Magkano hotel? Gusto nyo ng world class athletes, ayaw nyong gastusan.

  43. Let's all wait for Hidilyn's side of story, before judging her. 45. The fee is not too bad. He is from Guam so that's probably the normal/minimum wage he expects. If he has the qualification, then be it. I am sure Pacquaio's trainers are earning 5 times that.

      Delete
  46. Kamusta naman yung provided ng govt. Na coach nya? Ganyan din ba ang rate?
Pag-asawa or kaanak nag coach iba yun syempre.

    ReplyDelete
  47. That is unprofessional. If you are paying for your own coach then that’s fine to hire someone you have closed relation with. But if it’s at the cost of others/company/government?

Pero dahil national atlethe na sya,i doubt na eversince walang nag alok na private sectors to help fund her sa trainings nya for her 2020 gold?
