    2. Kahit pa sabihin nature's call, ung mga ganyan pinaghahandaan talaga. Respect sa actors, audience and staff ng buong show. When u get there, be prepared ahead of whatever. Para pag nasa loob na and it's starting, manonood ka lang talaga.

      Delete
    3. 8:30, nakakatawa. napapaghandaan ba ang call of nature? napepredict mo ba kung kelan ka mangangailangan gumamit ng banyo? if so, swerte mo.

      Delete

      Delete
    5. eh papano kung diabetic yung tao at kailangan nyang umihi?

      Delete
    6. Then choose a seat at the back if you feel you have the need to use the restroom every now and then. 3:01

  2. ...but when nature calls....

  3. May mga tao din naman na hindi mapipigilan yung ihi like me kaya huwag naman maging high and mighty dahil lang may na miss na ilang minutes sa show.

    2. ang issue kasi e, one of the audience went backstage pa to ask.

    1. I see your point, pero wag pumunta backstage di ba??

      Delete
    4. true, you should also be kind to the audience, malay mo nagkamali talaga ng door na napasukan yung tao dahil ihing ihi na, kala nya CR , backstage pala

      Delete

    1. May ganun?

      Delete
    5. e pano teh kung duming dumi na ang tao? iisipin pa ba ang etiquette na sinasabi mo? pls lang. when you gotta go.. you gotta go.

      Delete

      Delete
    7. Y'all missed the point. Pumunta backstage yung babae para "magCR." It was obviously an excuse to get backstage.

      Delete

      Delete
    9. 6:22, we didn’t miss the point. read leah’s tweet again. “the lady had to get up to go the bathroom and cris villonco wasn’t having it.”

      Delete
    10. Agree 12:35.

It's very distracting.

And yes, it was very very wrong na mga tao pa sa backstage ang tatanungin.

      Delete
  7. big issues bother her, i support her. little issues like this one, let it go. if that someone left the seat to get something to eat or make a phone call, then fine, i'm with you, but call of nature? give the pantog a break!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well obviously, it's not a 'small issue' for theater actors dahil hindi lang sya ang bothered (she did mention other stage actors who were 'not having it' <--- di mo gets?). You probably haven't watched a play or been an actor in a stage play - yung mga audience na nagtatayuan at namamasyal sa paligid ay super nakakadistract.

And obviously, it wouldn't irk her if it only happened once - malamang yan, marami nang instances din before kaya she decided to speak out.

      Delete
  8. Gah. When someone from the audience GOES BACKSTAGE to ask where's the restroom? DURING THE SHOW? It's really unbelievable!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Sa Pilipinas lang yata nangyayari yan. Kasi diyan sa atin, kadalasan mga nakakapanood ng mga ganyan stage plays mga mayayaman, kaya feeling entitled to go to the backstage, whether to ask for directions to the bathroom pa yan or para maka socialize ang mga stage actors. Dito sa NYC hindi pwede yan. Pipila ka sa labas ng backstage para magka access sa mga artista after ng show. No access sa backstage or sa mga actors during the show.

      Delete
    2. pano kung shunga pala yung audience kala nya dun yung CR. Wag din ano mga besh. Shunga lang hindi lahat perpek

      Delete
  9. Given na kailangan ang call of nature, wala bang bathroom outside the theater at kailangan backstage maki-ihi?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Ethically not allow but when nature is call I don't care

    ReplyDelete

“Sit” is a verb - “please SIT down.”
“Seat” is a noun - “you may have the window SEAT.”

  13. konting kibot, issue.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Good Lord, pati ba naman bathroom, issue pa din? Lea is taking this all too seriously. At the end of the day, this is ENTERTAINMENT at pasalamat sila at may nagbabayad pa para manuod!!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well, she will obviously take this seriously because she is a theater actress. Theater performances are live. Every little thing can cause distractions to the performers. Pag nagkamali sila, there are no tale two. At saka, bakit kailangan pumunta sa backstage? People backstage are preparing dor the next act ang does not want to bldisturbed at most times kaya dapat hindi sa backstage. Malamang meron namang comfort room for the audience di ba?

      Delete
It is a big deal for Lea because it is her job and she was there to handle the situation? What were you expecting? smh.

      Delete
    3. And in case you guys didnt know theaters have ushers on every corner, at least that’s how it is here. That person could’ve asked one of them instead of going backstage. Tsk.

      Delete
    4. what if the person don't have an idea that it is the backstage? there are backstages na wala naman talagang sign na backstage entrance po ito, what you will see is just a black door. Kung naligaw yung audience anong magagawa nyo.

      Delete
    5. there are backstage that don't have signs that it is the backstage, Door lang talaga sya, walang nakasulat na ito po ang backstage. Pwedeng naligaw lang yung tao, akala CR

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. teh.. bilib ako sayo kung napipigilan mo ang call of nature. ikaw na ang may etiquette! pinoy attitude kamo? edi attitude mo din. pinoy ka di ba? makapang down ng kapwa pilipino akala mo kung sinong napakataas. pwede ba teh? lahat tayo dumudumi. kaya wag kang dyan!

      Delete

      Delete
    3. 3:29 Lahat ng tao dumudumi at naiihi pero konti lang yata kayo na willing to sacirfice ng decency at etiquette to relieve yourselves (at proud pa). We should be able answer the call of nature nang hindi nangaabala ng ibang tao, unless baby ka, or may special needs.

      Delete
You have to take in consideration na may sakit ang ibang taong nanonood.

      Delete
    6. sa susunod since masyado kang concern sa etiquette of watching a play, bukod sa bawal umihi, isali mo na rin na bawal kang kumurap habang nanonood ng play. BAWAL KURAP ng mata, kahit magkandaluha luha ka kakapanood bawal ka pa rin kumurap to show your love and appreciation for the play.

You cannot control that! kung bawal yan, ipasara nyo ang theater production nyo.

    3. 10:23 AM Lol YOU are going to live and die a miserable person by way of your mindset!!Please stop embarassing yourself with your PETTINESS and get off your high horse!!

      Delete
    4. 10:23 nangaabala ba sya ha, nagkamali yung tao nangabala na agad agad. Besides theater actors know that there will always be distractions during a presentation. They're trained for that.

      Delete
    5. mas shunga ka pala eh 1:40 pano nga kung nagkamali sya akala nya cr yung door leading to the backstage, the person wanted to pee, nagbayad sya ng mahal di ba. Afford nya manood, naihi yung kawawang tao. Theater actors know that there are distractions.

  31. Some commenters missed the point that that someone from the audience WENT BACKSTAGE, where the ACTORS ARE GETTING READY, to ask WHERE IS THE RESTROOM. Sure, you gotta answer the call of nature, but will you go backstage where the actors are, or will you seek an attendant for the restroom meant for the audience? And it's just 90 minutes, can't you really hold it?

But to answer your question, if and when sh*t hits fan then as someone endowed with proper behavior I'll handle the sh*t with finesse obviously.

  35. Dapat naman talaga pigilin ang call of nature when watching plays. It’s like being stuck in traffic sa EDSA tapos ihing ihi ka na. 90 mins is just 1 1/2 hr so your kidneys would just be fine. If talagang, may medical contition at hindi makapagpigil ng ihi, edi wear diapers! 37.
