    1. Sorry to disappoint or burst your bubble, honey. Both camps did have access to money therefore good lawyers. The truth was the other camp tried to use media power to win their case. Unfortunately the law does not work that way. Chop chop God bless the judge for being impartial and following due process.

    2. So why allow a non bailable offense to push that far kung gagawin din naman na bailable?isn't that absurd.di dapat di n pinayagan in the first place.dapat, noon pa lang eh mas mababa ng kaso yung inallow.that's not impartiality but it rather raise a question to people, na pwede pala naman.so someone can just file to post for bail, thru a judge ruling in his favor kahit na kidnapping pa ang kaso nya.

    4. Please read the resolution of the case, before making uneducated comments. Justice was served rightfully and due process of the law was observed. Kudos to the judicial system. No wonder , the Philippines is in such a state, maraming taong madaling mauto. Go listen to your idol na. its showtime - cry me a river lang ang peg. Tell him not to cry too much, because it's only just begun ...

    5. ha ha Unbelievable ! The doors of a law library is open to the public and is open to anyone who is willing to read and enlighten themselves. Only the court can decide and determine the outcome of a case. I have full faith in Judge Paz and the judicial system. I salute her for maintaining the integrity of the judicial system. Sa mangmang na mamamayan, just because you did not like what you heard or it shattered your distorted truth , you accused the presiding judge of corruption without evidence. Bayaran this or ganuon talaga ang justice system ng Pinas. The judge did her job in accordance with the law. Instead of lauding the person, you tear her apart for doing an exemplary job of protecting a fundamental right , protecting the judiciary's independence and a democratic society. You wanted a verdict based on public sentiment. I did not know there are a lot of fools in the Philippines.

For the judge, kudos to you. The law still works in the Philippines. It might not be a popular decision but thank you for that impartial decision Sa mga idts dyan , areal language ng law pag May time if not mag pa katangent kayo at mag ambag ng pera so that your idol could get a better lawyer. Thank goodness that the judge did not succumbed to such uneducated opinion of the masses. The wheels of justice do turn slow but it's better than justice defined and dictated by media.

Read the resolution and the contents of the case not what media feeds the public. Are you trying to tell me that the judge is incompetent, does not have a full grasp or knowledge of the law, did not conduct a fair trial and there was no integrity in the proceedings? It is a high profile case with a lot of media mileage. If you are 100% sure about your convictions, tell VHOG VHOG to terminate the services provided by his current lawyer. In short, he needs to hire a better lawyer. The big question is , what are the merits of the case and is there a lawyer who is willing to take the case? If there are no takers, It maybe the case sucks bigtime and there are other reasons for you to find out, WHY? HA HA HA

  18. A supposed non-bailable offense can be granted bail if the judge is not convinced that there is strong evidence of guilt BEYOND reasonable doubt.

What is interesting to know are the evidences (or lack of) presented by the prosecution and the defense arguments that compelled the judge to make an unpopular decision (as it has become a trial by media).

In my honest opinion, we should not be too easy on judging based solely on what we hear/see from the mainstream media. The real battle is in the court.

    3. anon 7:18 pm, I am not a basher but an educated fan of Mr. Lim. It is quite insulting on FP's part that you categorized all his readers as paid bashers, unemployed worthless individuals or basically the lowest of the low in society or scum of society. FP's column is actually an interesting read and very credible. It actually helps me out in the Filipino parties that I attend to and makes me endearing to the TITO's, TITA's , LOLO and LOLA's and Ate/ kuya's. By the way, CEDRIC et al could not afford me.

I don't need to be hired by anybody, darling. I will stand by my conviction though that everybody should be given due process and the importance of protecting an independent and impartial judiciary to ensure the rule of law and effective protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms of the human person.
I am defending the Philippine Judicial System and nobody else because an independent and impartial judiciary is one of the pillars of a democratic society.
Thank you and may GOD BLESS all of you and give you the wisdom to discern the truth.

  19. According to Raymond Fortun, the judge who decided that he accused can post bail is a very principled and honest judge. She based her judgement on the evidence presented to het.

Isip lang pag may time ha, bakit ayaw niyang gumastos ? ha ha ha, something is not right or does not make sense? hindi siya naghihikaos at may income siya. bakit kaya? siguro sinabihan na siya ng ibang lawyers na walang merit yung case niya or in simple terms basura.
