Letter from a Reader: Wanna Join Us?

Dear Fashion Pulis,

I am writing you to share a story and get the opinions/reactions of your readers as well. One Saturday night, my friends and I went to this famous dance club in Malate because we haven't been there for a long time. My friends who were with me are mostly VIPs (famous personalities/loyal clients/friends of the shareholders) of this club so they brought me to the VIP lounge on the second floor.

A couple of drinks later, while my friends were dancing and enjoying the good music, I noticed a familiar looking person looking at me in the lounge. A few minutes later, he walked towards me and introduced himself. He went on asking "Who do you think is the hottest guy that you want to have sex with in this room right now?" I was shocked to hear this from him because I noticed that his partner was just a few meters away. I told him politely that I was just there to enjoy the music and have fun with some good friends. Attempting to change the topic, I pointed to his partner and said, "Isn't he your partner? You are the design duo who owns this store in a mall, right?" He immediately called his partner and introduced me to him. After the brief introduction, the partner went back to his friends. When I was left alone with him again, he asked me, "Are you more of a giver or a receiver? Would you like to join us in bed? I am feeling hot right now." I panicked after hearing his questions and I simply said, "I am sorry but I have to go back to my friends now. It was really nice talking to you."

Call me a hopeless romantic but in my opinion, when a person (guy or girl) is committed to someone, he/she must not enter into casual encounters with others. I just felt weird that he asked me to join him and his partner for a three way. I hope I am not being judgmental and I hope this will not offend your readers. I just need to know what your readers think about having a casual encounter with a couple.

Sincerely,
M.L.

P.S. Parts of the letter were edited by Fashion PULIS to conceal the identities of the characters.

  6. that's not a good excuse on being inside a "gay" relationship. i still believe that there are other gays out there who likes to be like in a "hetero" like relationship. slips, cheats, flirts are given. just my opinion.

  7. I'm a straight girl that's been in a happy, monogamous relationship for over two years, but my boyfriend and I are open to having a third person join us in bed. However, this person has to be someone we trust, though not necessarily a friend because that would be weird. Just someone who's disease-free and discreet.

  17. in this age of HIV and Aids, it's better to be safe than sorry......if you love one another, loyalty and being monogamous should be second nature....

  18. Baka slow lang ako but
    1) Im not sure if letter writer is a girl or a guy. Male threesome ba ito or M-F-M?
2)How do people know its a gay club? I havent been in Manila in a long time, gay clubs na lang ba ang natira sa Malate?
3)Clue naman sa design duo na to!
And I agree with letter writer, committed kung committed I think. Pero I guess Im a hopeless romantic @:)

  20. Ano ba ang point ng letter sender? I think he just want to spill their identities, hello there is no such thing as 100 percent monogamous gay, ask mo pa si boy abunda haha, nasa era na tayo ng ipad , so casual sex and lust is very common among gays who,98 percent are promiscuous, oh ayan nagbigay pa ako ng partida, me 2 percent na loyal

  21. 98 percent promiscuous, no wonder HIV/ AIDS status in the country is Rising! Come On!

  22. Kaya ang taas ng HIV rate ng Pinas dahil sa mga veking hayop na ito. Magkalat ba naman. O sha magkalat kayo ng HIV pra D next Africa of HIV itong Pinas.

  23. I heard tumataas dahil sa mga seaman na umuuwi sa wives nila after making patol sa different hookers all over the world. At saka dahil pinoy guys, insecure sa kanilang ungiftedness, ayaw magcondom

  24. Design duo? C and R? Always see them in Gbelt 5.

  25. sexual preference is not to blame. but not having safe sex. HIV rates are rising since detection rate and diagnosis are more efficient these days. Better the truth be out than we hide in darkness. BTW ang true chica sino ang designer duo?

    ReplyDelete
  26. hahaha, tru... kaya madaming HIV sa pinas, kc itong mga beking makakating ito eh... kya karamihan ng beki may HIV. ingat. mag kapote sa mga beki... hahahha.

  27. Design duo? need more clues. The Malate gay bar described is definitely BED! Pasintabi lang po sa mga ibang comments kasi hasty generalization sya against gays. I mean I'm gay pero hindi ako promiscuous. I think AIDS/HIV affects genders in all spectrum and DOH should give relevant infomercials in educating the masses. If a person has AIDS/HIV because it's his/her fault that he easily forget that it's mind over sex!

  30. I'm fascinated with how some people can be sooo stupid and close minded. Why blame AIDS/HIV to gay men... duh?! ndi lang gay people ang nagkakaroon nyan. and beside, ndi lang gay people and may fetishes/iba ibang trip when it comes to sex. wag nga kayong t*nga at b*bo! geeshh uminit ulo ko...

anyway, im curious to know this couple. more clues pls.
