Actions Speak Louder

Despite constant denials, actions can often lead to speculations and negated statements coming from celebrities themselves. Affairs, sexuality, age, and dark pasts are often the subject of rumors that celebrities would immediately deny. Some celebrities have secrets so deep that the initial revelation of such would result in outright refusal and circumventing statements to lead the public away from the truth.
The basic reason for denials is protection of the image. For example, talents that are groomed to become matinee idols should have impeccable records, as they are expected to become role models for fans. Thus, if a well-known talent suddenly reveals having a child at the height of his/her career, the popularity rating would definitely drop. The management would then do damage control to make sure that honesty could still save that celebrity with a shocking revelation.
The most denied subject when it comes to rumors is one’s sexuality. Celebrities who have come out are so few and they can be counted with just one’s fingers. Admitting to be part of the LBGTQI community comes with career consequences, such as limited opportunities and stereotyped roles in projects. Perhaps, such is the reason Potential Matinee idol (PM) would rather deny his sexual preference even though social media posts seem to make his world quite colorful.
Over the years, PM had to live with stories about his sexual preference. PM has the looks and at one point in his career, was considered as a would-be leading man. Unfortunately, PM has yet to get that big break that would propel him to stardom. He is known, but his fame hinged more on rumors of his sexual orientation. He has denied being gay in public just to quash the persistent rumors.
Although PM has denied the rumor, private citizens are still puzzled at his actions. One time, he was seen in the elevator of his building with a known bisexual dancer from the other station. They were obviously going to his unit and observers speculated on his action, as he immediately attempted to close the elevator door to prevent other passengers to ride with them. However, a unit owner had faster fingers and pushed the open button just in time, and thus, PM and his “date” had to share the ride. If PM had nothing in mind with his guest, then he would have allowed other passengers in the elevator, but that seemed not to be his intention.

Gotten Big-headed

Poor Talented Partner (TP) did not realize her kind gesture of the previous day would be tagged with malice. TP had just completed her performance in a major event when she decided to drop by the room of her Former Loveteam (FL). TP wanted to say “Hi!” to FL, as they have not seen each other ever since their partnership had to give way to better career opportunities.
TP and FL were part of the guest list of an event that should not be missed by music lovers. While TP performed solo, FL was with his crew. Prior to their going on separate paths, their tandem was able to amass a good number of fans and the network placed high hopes in the success of their partnership. Such was not the case, as FL bolted out.
Nonetheless, the pair had fans who continued to follow their careers. Like most loveteam fan groups, division could not be avoided, as some fans loved TP more than FL. Moreover, TP actually got more exposure than FL when they were being built up together. This discrepancy was not unnoticed by the camp of FL. Immediately after FL landed his gig, his camp made sure that TP would not get into his newly found fame.
During the said event, the camp of FL left instructions that FL should not be disturbed by anyone, especially TP. As TP tried to go to the room of FL, she was refused entry by security. TP thought that there was a misunderstanding and she tried to reason with the security, saying that she was FL’s loveteam partner. The minor commotion was heard by FL, who then signaled to the security to let TP enter. TP entered the room and briefly exchanged pleasantries with FL and his crew. That was how the night ended or so TP thought.
The next day, TP was shocked to see the post of FL’s camp. Some fans tagged her and TP could only shakes her head in disbelief. The post allegedly claimed that a certain someone was using the fame of FL to enrich her career. Naturally, TP was offended as she had no other intention than to greet FL and his team who flew from overseas.

Breakup Revelation

The career of Network Talent (NT) has gone through the typical cycle of moving from being the most important celebrity to being just one of the talents. At the height of NT’s popularity, relationship issues hindered the upward movement of her career. Thus, all the momentum she had painstakingly built went down the drain. After resting away from intrigues, NT managed to make a comeback, but this time, she was set to do more challenging and mature roles.
Moreover, NT managed to meet The Man (TM) who made her mellow down. A private citizen, TM would occasionally get into the public eye when NT would be interviewed about her lovelife. Rather than deny her relationship, which is often the case for many celebrities. NT admitted her relationship. While the admission made her less attractive, as she was already taken, the relationship assured that NT was seriously moving on with her life.
Then, after a significant time in her relationship with TM, NT revealed that she had just broken up with him. The revelation puzzled her fans, as she her story was different in the previous weeks. She seemed to be very much in love and settled with TM, and then, it was over.
Apparently, TM found out about the rumors that have long hounded NT. Allegedly, NT has been involved in her ‘sidelines,’ which has allowed her to support her high-end lifestyle despite having few projects. Her ‘manager’ allegedly set an appointment with a Wealthy Scion (WS) from the south. One time, TM brought NT to a party and WS was also there. It seems that TM and WS knew each other from way back. NT was surprised, but she kept her poise at seeing the two enjoy the night.
Unknown to NT, a family member of TM had already mentioned about the extra-dealings of NT. As boys can be boys, TM had to find out for himself if what was told to him was true and if WS was even part of the clients. TM then confronted NT and asked about the rumor. NT denied everything, of course. However, after sometime, NT sent a breakup text and did not bother to show her face to TM anymore. The response of NT sent mixed messages and one of which was the possibility that her denial was baseless after all. So, now, NT is single and TM, despite having accepted everything about NT, had to let go and move on.
