Analyzing His Leaving

‘No one is indispensable’ and ‘You’re only as good as your last project’ are clichés that many celebrities take for granted. While there would be times when a celebrity would have endorsements and projects left and right, a time would come when everything will all be gone. When the fans no longer line up at the box-office, ratings perform dismally, and social media is filled with anecdotes of the negative behavior of celebrities, management and endorsements are all ears. Many celebrities have found themselves in such position and while others have prepared themselves, others have not.

One of the hardest truths to accept for a celebrity is his/her faded star. In other words, there is no more career to speak of as well as hit movies to brag about. For Exasperating Talent (ET), reality hit him hard. While he used to be among the bankable and most trusted talents of his network, he suddenly found himself with no network projects and His Partner (HP) moving away from him successfully. Thus, the question of what went wrong with ET was faced by his management and their answers justified the next move.

Over the past years, ET was very different from the other talents of the management. Those talents would mingle with fans, pose for pictures, and talk to the press nicely. By contrast, ET was aloof and has been reported many times to display arrogance even to his benefactors. Thus, his management had to invest in damage control to save his career. Despite such behavior, ET was still given top projects, but these assignments performed below par. To see clearly the direction of his career, he and HP were given different projects to the disappointment of fans. However, HP proved her bankability, while ET failed. The conclusion was the problem was really with ET, as he could not shake off his negative image to the masses.

Rather than stay at a seemingly dead-end, ET asked to be released from his unexpired contract. With so many new talents waiting for their chance at stardom, the management let ET go without much fuss. After all, ET might end up in the freezer if he stays on. Like many other talents who have left his management, kibitzers are predicting doomsday for ET’s career. For example, with his departure, ET might no longer be prioritized for any teleserye project with the network. Moreover, reuniting with HP would also be farfetched at this point.

As always, time will tell if ET made a good move by leaving his former management. Just as long as he left nicely and no bridges were burned, ET could always return if nothing happens with this development in his career.

Consider the Good

Unfortunately for celebrities, stories of the times when they were not yet famous can haunt them the moment they have made names for themselves. While some of these stories can be dismissed as hearsay, others can be quite convincing as sources are friends from way back to the time when celebrities were still unknown, ordinary people.

Versatile Personality (VP) may not really be a household name, but her face would look familiar to loyal viewers of a network. Often, VP would be given roles in the supporting category in her projects. Although she is in the second lead, her character would still be significant in the unraveling of the narrative.

Nonetheless, VP is not one talent who will simply wait for opportunities. Instead of just waiting for her next casting job, VP explores other arenas that can showcase her range of talent other than playing serious roles. VP has taken advantage of the digital world to reach a wider audience.

However, like certain celebrities, VP has an alleged dark past. Allegedly, VP likes to get her hands on nice, pretty things and keep them without the consent of the owner. She does get away with such action, as only a few know of her questionable habit. As to why she engages in petty actions that can endanger her reputation, no one really knows. She has the money to buy what she wants, but sometimes, the temptation can be so great that one gives in without knowing.

As to whether VP is still into her old habit is a borderline issue. More often, people who have had such incidents in their past are immediate suspects whenever something gets lost while he/she is around. Even if he/she is not guilty, others will always have a tinge of doubt. Hopefully, VP has gotten out of her old ways and have never ever been tempted to repeat her past actions.

What To Do For Valentine’s Day

February has come and you can’t deny the feeling that love is in fact in the air. You see different valentine’s gift specials, bouquet of flower arrangements and your girl throwing in hints for your date. If you’re feeling pressured and you’re overthinking how your valentine’s date would go, just consider the following:

It’s not about how fancy the restaurant is. For dinner, you can cook something for her or take her to her favourite restaurant. Just make sure that you have a reservation or you’ll probably wait in line!
Go see a movie. It doesn’t matter whether it is on Netflix or you’re going to the cinema. Seeing movies on dates are probably a cliché but a relaxing experience for the both of you.
Rub in some intimacy before ending the night and don’t forget that being slow and romantic is the key.
