Wishful Thinking

Smug Personality (SP) seems to be in a bind these past months since his contract expired from one of the networks. While he sent feelers to his former station (FS), the network flatly did not see any advantage at taking SP back. Meanwhile, another station (AS) was rumored to have been in talks with SP, and fanning such rumors are uploaded photos of SP with some of the station’s influential celebrities.
However, people were not prepared with the recent actions of SP. During the taping of a special for one of the programs of FS, SP made a surprise appearance. On the one hand, his presence was not really unexpected as he has friends in the production team of the said program. On the other hand, SP might have crossed the line with his appearance.
When SP went onstage, he entertained the audience by dancing as he used to do in his former program. To the delight of the crowd, SP even gave away real money. However, during his time onstage, SP did the unthinkable. Instead of focusing on good wishes for the cast of the show, SP gave a speech that the audience thought sounded like he was pleading to be taken back by the network. While the production had earlier instructed the audience not to video any part of the said performance, someone allegedly recorded SP’s performance.
Did the speech of SP even manage to tug at the hearts of the concerned people over at FS? Well, his stint jeopardized the airing of the said special, and the producers deemed that his stage antics, at the very least, would not to be aired at all. That decision already indicates the obvious response of FS.

Full of Himself

They say that being a true gentleman is an acquired virtue, usually from the family values one has grown up with. However, there are those whose appearances can really be deceiving.
Recently, Artistic Personality AP was spotted at the airport’s carousel area waiting for his luggage. As we all know, the carousel or the conveyor area is where all the plane passengers converge to wait and pick up their luggage after they disembark from the plane. Standing beside AP was a Lady Passenger LP who was also waiting for her belongings.
As other fellow passengers were crowding the area, AP reportedly motioned to LP if she would please move behind him as AP was confident that his 'priority luggage' would be coming out ahead of hers. LP refused to move and remained standing where she was because she told AP that she was there first. Besides, the carousel was still empty and the pieces of luggage were not coming out yet. Next thing, he and LP were already arguing with each other as she was firm in not giving in to him.
An eyewitness remarked that AP was clearly power-tripping, as he tried to bully the woman while cursing her in Spanish. Not content with cursing, AP allegedly tried to scare her by showing off his bodyguards. LP was stunned. When the passengers’ pieces of luggage were coming out from the conveyor, AP was seen intentionally elbowing her as he picked up his stuff one by one. Unbelievable!
Consequently, people were turned off by AP’s demeanor which was so opposite of his onscreen persona. Truly, AP is out of context, out of nowhere.
Is something amiss somewhere with AP? People are asking where his arrogance is coming from. Some observers firmly believe it is because of his financially secured partner. Take a guess?
