The engagement of Determined Actress (DA) to a Non-showbiz Guy (NG) came as a surprise to the public. At that time, DA’s career was on the upswing and stories about her love life were very limited. Thus, when DA and NG announced that they were tying the knot, fans were surprised.

Questions on whether DA was going to pursue her career and keep her family responsibilities were talked about in the showbiz circle. DA was very promising as she had various projects lined up at that time. Moreover, she would once in a while post about how she was helping her family achieve their dreams. Then, one day, fans noticed she seemed to have slowed down in her career. They assumed she and NG were preparing for the big day.

As time passed nothing was heard about the wedding plans of DA and NG. However, DA started to be linked with other male personalities, which clearly moved NG out of the picture. According to the grapevine, DA and NG broke up because she realized he might just be merely using her to achieve his own dreams.

NG apparently has the entrepreneurial spirit and saw DA as his main source of capital. As the doting, earning partner, DA was willing to give the financial needs of NG. Unfortunately, the ventures NG presented to DA fizzled out. She probably realized what was happening and broke off the engagement.
