Hindi umano naging maganda ang reaksyon ng mga magulang ni Sarah Geronimo sa ginawang pag-abot ni Matteo Guidicelli ng bulaklak sa kasintahan sa pagtatapos ng unang araw ng kaniyang concert kasama si Regine Velasquez.
Matatandaang noong Pebrero 14 ay idinaos ang "Unified" concert nina Geronimo at Velasquez sa Araneta Coliseum.
Kapwa dumalo sina Guidicelli at ang mga magulang ni Geronimo. Nakaupo si Guidicelli sa harap kasama ang iba pang manonood.
Nang matapos ang concert, umakyat si Guidicelli sa stage at inabutan ng bouquet ng bulaklak si Geronimo. Ang singer na si Ogie Alcasid naman ang nag-abot ng bulaklak sa asawang si Velasquez.
Ayon kay MJ Felipe ng ABS-CBN News, naging isyu umano para sa mga magulang ni Geronimo sa nangyari.
"Ayon sa aking source, so di ba umakyat si Ogie Alcasid, si Ogie ang nag-abot ng flowers para kay Ate Reg, tapos si Matteo ang nag-abot kay Sarah. Isyu pala 'yun," kuwento ni Felipe sa kaniyang radio show na "OMJ!" sa DZMM nitong Sabado.
Dagdag pa ni Felipe, ikinagalit umano ng mga magulang ni Geronimo na hindi ang tatay nito na si Delfin o kaya ang kaniyang boss na si Vic del Rosario ng Viva Entertainment ang nag-abot ng bulaklak sa singer.
"According to my source who was there sa backstage, nagalit daw, diumano, ang parents ni Sarah kung bakit daw si Matteo ang nag-abot ng flowers kay Sarah. Bakit hindi daw si Boss Vic or siguro, bakit hindi si daddy?" ani Felipe.
Nabanggit din ni Felipe na ayon sa kaniyang source, si Del Rosario ang dapat na mag-aabot ng bulaklak kay Geronimo, ngunit ipinasa niya ang bouquet kay Guidicelli.
"Ang narinig ko, ang kuwento sa akin, si Boss Vic talaga 'yung may hawak ng flowers, kaso kasi si Matteo was nakaupo sa harap ni Boss Vic. Ang ginawa daw ni Boss Vic, inabot 'yung flowers kay Matteo and allowed Matteo to hand the flowers kay Sarah," kuwento ni Felipe.
Mainit na balita ngayon ang naging kasal nina Geronimo at Guidicelli, na hindi umano alam ng pamilya ni Geronimo.
Usap-usapan din ang relasyon ni Geronimo sa kaniyang mga magulang na sina Divine at Delfin, dahil na rin sa napabalitang kaguluhan sa kasal.
Ayon sa close-in security detail ni Sarah na si Jerry Tamara, sinuntok umano siya ni Guidicelli nang mapagbintangan siyang nagsumbong sa nanay ni Geronimo tungkol sa kasal.

If it weren’t for an Internet-breaking, early-morning news, it looked like an ordinary start to the day otherwise for pop superstar Sarah Geronimo on Thursday.
News of Geronimo and actor Matteo Guidicelli’s wedding first broke about 6 a.m. that day, when columnist Ricky Lo spilled the beans on the Philippine Star.
According to ABS-CBN News reporter MJ Felipe, he was supposed to interview Geronimo about 4 p.m. after her taping for “The Voice Teens 2” and thought it would be a chance to confirm the story.
While waiting for their interview, Felipe said he had coordinated with ABS-CBN people and asked them to keep a close eye on Geronimo.
Geronimo arrived early for her taping, past 8 a.m. when she was supposed to arrive about 9 a.m.
The taping continued until they took a break for lunch, and resumed an hour after.
According to Felipe, Geronimo continued with her taping until 3:30 p.m., and did not show signs she was in a hurry.
“Tuloy-tuloy si Sarah, walang bakas ng pagmamadali,” Felipe said on his show, “OMJ!” on DZMM on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Felipe said Geronimo’s mother, Divine, was contacting people, asking whether her daughter was done with her taping.
“Tumatawag si Mommy Divine, chine-check kung tapos na bang mag-taping si Sarah. Siyempre kasi umaga pa lang pumutok na ‘yung balita, ‘di ba? So parang nakatunog na rin si Mommy Divine,” he shared.
As Felipe was supposed to interview Geronimo, “The Voice Teens 2” staff had been calling to inform him that she was done with her taping but Geronimo left on her van as soon as she was finished.
Felipe noted that Geronimo left alone, without changing her outfit.
“Pagkatapos na pagkatapos ng taping, 3:30, walang palit ng damit. Bye, bye, bye. Lumabas si Sarah, sumakay sa sasakyan, walang kasama,” he narrated, saying this was odd as celebrities usually bring their handlers and team with them.
“Usually ‘yan, ‘yung mga artista, when they leave the set, ganyan, ganyan, kasama nila ‘yung kanilang road manager, or handler or glam team, or PA or assistant, ganyan. Pero this daw, hindi daw, siya lang, tapos umalis na. Very, very unusual,” Felipe shared.
Because he already got wind that the civil wedding was going to happen at Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City, Felipe said he decided to hang out with friends in the area in case he received information about Geronimo and Guidicelli’s wedding.
He didn’t receive one until he left early Friday morning. However, news of the altercation during the couple’s wedding broke just a few hours after he left.
According to Felipe, Jerry Tamara, Geronimo’s close-in security detail, filed a blotter at 3:27 a.m. on February 21 at the Police Community Precinct No. 7 in Taguig.
“So nakita niya na something really happened, may shouting na naganap, talagang inaawat, pinipigilan. At ang kuwento pa sa akin ng source ko, I don’t know if this is true, kailangan pang dumating ni Boss Vic para pigilan si Mommy Divine,” he said.
Felipe, likewise, shared that he had to confirm that the wedding pushed through before he broke the news, which took a while.
“I will not reveal my source, siyempre, pero nakuha ko talaga ‘yung yes, natuloy ang kasal. Noon pa lang pa nakapagbigay ng go-signal sa lahat,” he said.
Geronimo, 31, and Guidicelli, 29, first confirmed their relationship in 2014, after nearly a year being a couple.
While they are among the most visible stars in showbiz, Geronimo and Guidicelli have largely kept their relationship low profile.
Their engagement, for instance, was belatedly revealed in November 2019, “about a year” after the actual proposal happened, according to the actor’s younger brother, Paolo.
Guidicelli is one of three children of Gianluca Guidicelli, an Italian, and Glenna Fernan, a Filipino.
Geronimo is the third of four siblings, and is the only one among them who is in the limelight.
Even prior to their wedding, Geronimo has become a close member of the Guidicelli family. Notably, she was the maid of honor of Guidicelli’s sister, Giorgia, when she got married in December 2019.

The moment Promising Talent (PT) was seen, the observers knew he was destined for a high position. PT was exciting to watch and his talent was exceptional. PT then was on his way to achieving dreams that most kids can only imagine.
As years passed, PT slowly achieved his dream. He became known for his skills, fans flocked to him for photos, and his performance impressed the crowd. Money became easy to earn; after all, only a few could brag about earning so much from doing something they really love.
Unfortunately, money brought in much temptation as well. PT discovered another passion, which could have distracted him from focusing on his craft. PT learned about cards and the table. As he was earning so much and confident that he would still have money the next day, PT started frequenting casinos.
While casinos are put up for people who cannot stay away from gambling and for the government to earn, everything has a downside. Casino experts have expressed the notion that only a few out of the many gamblers win and most players end up losers. PT was one of them.
At the height of his gambling, PT would allegedly sit in the exclusive area reserved for high-end players. The table is in an area that is hidden from the other gamblers. Dealers claim that money seems to be like liquid for PT and he would lose so much in a night. Some say the figure sometimes reached half a million.
Sadly, gambling could have ruined PT’s focus, as these days, he has yet to bounce back to his days of glory. As far as his finances are concerned, many are worried that he might have lost much at the tables.

The supposed civil wedding rites of Matteo Guidicelli to actress-singer Sarah Geronimo turned sour after he reportedly punched a bodyguard.
Taguig police confirmed that the 29-year-old actor punched Jerry Tamara, one of Geronimo's close-in security detail, on Thursday night. The incident occurred inside a luxury hotel in Bonifacio Global City, in the middle of the civil wedding rites of the celebrity couple.
According to the police report, Tamara reported the incident that morning, saying that Guidicelli punched him in the throat upon learning that Geronimo's mother, Divine, "arrived unexpectedly" during the ceremony.
The bodyguard said Guidicelli punched him around 11 p.m. because he was the one who told the mother of the "Tala" singer that the wedding was set that night. She apparently did not know about the wedding ceremony and wanted to talk to her daughter about it. Geronimo is 31 years old.
There have been earlier reports that Mommy Divine did not approve of her daughter's relationship with Guidicelli, an actor turned Army reserve.
The long-time celebrity couple, nicknamed "AshMatt," announced their engagement in November 2019. The couple confirmed their relationship in 2014.
