Missing a Point

These days, when fans are displeased by the performance, actions, reactions, and words of celebrities, expect a barrage of comments. While certain social media pages can have their comments section turned off, many celebrities do not adhere to that feature and bravely allow all sorts of comments litter in their accounts. Sometimes, celebrities even respond to comments, event at the gutter-level.
Being exposed to negative criticisms can toughen up a celebrity to the point of being jaded from bashing. After all, one does not have control over what other people will say, much more spend much time to engage in discussions with trolls or fake account holders. Accepting that one cannot please everyone is a hard pill to swallow for entertainers whose goal is to make people admire and appreciate their talent. Nonetheless, such exposure can prove to be a lesson on handling critics.
When Controversial Celebrity (CC) took a career-changing step by exposing her opinions about wannabees, she was probably not expecting a huge snowball of bashing. Her thoughts have become triggers for certain netizens to express their disagreements over her choice of words. While CC could have a breakdown at the number of negative comments, she opted not to. Instead, CC stuck to her opinions and no longer minded her bashers.
While CC might be admirable in her views and being outspoken, not everyone seems to be happy with how she conducts herself. Something seems amiss in connecting with the audience. Hence, rumors have it of the high possibility that CC might not be back in case a second part of her project is launched.

Preview Faces Backlash Over Article on How Fashion Designer Left Homosexuality

Preview, one of the popular fashion and style websites in the country, had to issue a public apology over publishing an article on how fashion designer, Jian Lasala, turned away from homosexuality.
The publication of the story angered many netizens, who claimed to be followers of the said site and magazine. Briefly, the story talked about how Lasala left his homosexuality due to religion.
Netizens expressed their disappointment at the website and others cited the insensitivity of the timing of the article, as next month is Pride Month. Harsher comments focused on how gays have supported Preview and would eventually stop patronizing the magazine. Others have even expressed that the seeming support of Preview was merely for show and its real colors have been shown via the story.
After getting the ire of the LGBTQ community, the website took down the said story and issued a public apology.

Rumors about the diva-like behavior of Upcoming Singer (US) are making rounds after an incident with Young Performers (YP). During an out of town local show, US was upset when he found out he would be sharing a room with YP. Rather than tell The Organizer (TO) of his displeasure himself, US instructed His Handler (HH) to deal with the issue. US did not want to appear as a problem, so he had someone else air his issue.
HH did as instructed and TO could only scratch his head. HH said that US does not share his room, as he needed to vocalize and practice prior to his performance.US wants his performance to be perfect so as to create impact onstage. TO said that other celebrities have been invited to perform as well and the rooms are limited. There is no other room to spare for YP. HH did not budge, as he knows US will throw a fit if his wish is not granted. After a few seconds of thinking, TO offered an office for YP to change and prepare for their number.
When YP learned that US was going solo in the assigned dressing room, they could only wonder. They have performed together in many overseas shows and are comfortable sharing accommodations already. YP could not understand why US suddenly felt not wanting to be with them for the local show. YP had no choice but to take the offer of TO. At least, the room was airconditioned, as the heat was unbearable.
YP looks up to US, as the latter is older and has achieved a certain status in the local and international arenas. YP, of course, would like to reach the level of US, as he is considered an idol worthy to be emulated by starting talents. However, after the incident of being driven out of their shared dressing room, YP might have a change of heart.
