Just Follow Your Contract

Endorsements of various products and services add to the finances and popularity of a celebrity. However, the deals these days encompass more than the onscreen image of endorsers, as even the important details of their personal lives have stipulations in endorsement contracts. For example, provisions include not being seen with any competing product or service. Thus, if a celebrity prefers using a particular device, but is endorsing a lower-end one, he/she should not use his/her personal device in public. However, certain companies are strict with the personal status of the endorser.

When Female Celebrity (FC) signed up with many brands, some of her contracts had provisions that she remains single and of course, not get pregnant, while the contract is still enforced. Companies are aware that the behavior of their endorsers can affect the reputation of their products, and thus, their endorsers must conform to their rules as their faces would be associated to the said brands.

Apparently, FC must have forgotten that most of her current contracts, which will not end soon, have provisions concerning her status, that is, she should remain single and not be involved in a relationship. Just as when her prayers have been answered and she herself allegedly answered Daring Personality (DP), she gets reminded of her provisions. As FC was excited, as someone who is in love is, she told certain people that she and DP are officially together.

When her superiors found out, FC’s attention was called, as she might be sued in case evidence of admission emerges in public of her more-than-friendship status with DP. To not dampen her feelings, she was advised that it was okay to go out together, have uploaded photos, or give hints. However, never should either of them admit the real status of their relationship. Such guidelines should not bother DP, as he knows the entertainment industry inside out having been exposed to such world early in life. Meanwhile, FC is smart enough to follow the advice as well, as she is aware of how wrathful fans can be if they would not be happy with her choice.
