While it seems normal for people to share their deepest thoughts and frustrations in social media, sometimes they overlook the implications of their posts given that other people might be offended. To appease the offended parties, networks and management might impose a punishment on such celebrities. Thus, viewers were surprised when Remarkable Celebrity (RC) found himself in hot water. Worse, the public has continued to note his absence even if the creative team has been innovating to make up for RC’s absence.
Initially, RC was thought to be given the verdict because his action had direct implications to significant stakeholders of his show. Glaring was his absence because everyone in their show was present in that gathering because they knew the importance of appearing as a team in front of the important guests. While RC opted not to join them, his reasons were flimsy and his subsequent action showed his character.
When the rumors of the forced vacation of RC leaked and the time was hinted at, the reaction was that the length seemed quite harsh for his action. However, that attitude was merely the tip of the iceberg. Allegedly, RC has reached a certain level of greed when it came to endorsements. RC would request products from every sponsor that he has, and this asking has reached uncomfortable and embarrassing limits.
Worse, people in the production have noticed that he has been quite pushy with his orders. The ways he treats the crew with his incessant ordering and even his complaining on the set have reached the Higher Bosses (HB). Having risen from the ranks, HB knows that treating the crew as if they’re the smallest of the small is a major faux pas. Their show was built on the effort of humble and ordinary folks and such high attitude of RC has no place in their ranks. Thus, another story is that the management is mulling the idea of not taking RC back even after the leave is over.
As the cliché goes, no one is indispensable. Although RC is one talented celebrity, there is no doubt that his present team has made him who he is now and it does have the power not to continue giving the exposure he needs. Perhaps, RC could start thinking of Plan B in case HB decides to take the risky path, which is not to give him another chance.
