When Nochalant Talent (NT) made her way to her dressing room, people were shocked that she did not even bother to acknowledge the presence of Rejected Celebrity (RC). NT did not even establish eye contact at RC, as she walked away. It seemed that NT only saw what she wanted to see, and RC was nothing but invisible to her at that moment.

The estranged relationship between NT and RC is comparable to the typical stories drama anthologies thrive on. The plot would start with a couple who defied all odds just to be together. Both are coming from failed relationships and after briefly meeting, they hit it off and forget their past lovers. Years later, the kids came one after another and financial issues came in the way. Whatever love the couple had has turned to dust. Unlike drama anthology stories, this real life drama is not moving towards a happy ending. The sad part is that rejection is the main theme in the story and the ugly side is that in the process of being herself, NT no longer cares.

As the door of her dressing room closed, someone entered and informed NT that RC was just nearby. However, NT responded with a cold reply, “Really?” Then, she proceeded as if she did not hear anything. Fearing that NT might unleash harsh words, the production people who saw what happened did not push the issue and kept quiet.

Meanwhile, RC was informed that NT was just a few doors away. RC, being careful, said that he did not want to bother NT, as she does not want to see him anyway. After all, RC felt he was used in an event of NT, and now that the event has long ended, NT is back to giving him the cold shoulder treatment.

The attitude of NT toward RC is a common conversation topic, as estranged relationships do occur within the family. However, in the case of NT, several people are alluding to her attitude toward RC as causing the negative issues surrounding her career. Had things fallen in place, she would have won more fans, as she could be a role model, with her pretty looks and all. However, instead of humbling herself, she chose to harden her heart whenever the subject of RC comes up. As to the reason for her attitude, she has yet to open up. What remains obvious is that she has a career that demands a high level of respect towards other people, and she should be prepared to be rejected by people who do not agree with her attitude towards RC.
