Misunderstanding Somewhere

CH asked VA what she thinks is her best asset. VA replied, “the two-storey house I’m having built.” CH was stunned at the reply of VA, and she immediately wanted to ask a follow up question to divert the seemingly off response. Of course, any reply from VA can get her fans all revved up. CH had no choice but to do a segue, as VA was already too focused on her fans.
Uh oh. Did VA misunderstand the question or did she really not understand at all? Perhaps, VA needs proper training to improve her comprehension skills to be able to properly answer questions thrown her way, especially those spoken in English. Could her boyfriend help VA in this handicap?

Star Actor's Alleged “Drunk” Performance
Star actor (SA) was invited to
perform in a corporate event. SA is the hottest young actor performer
today. He has risen to such popularity that girls swoon over him, and
companies want him to perform for their events. Those who can afford
SA's services, paying hundreds of thousands for a few songs is worth it.
His mere presence is a sure crowd drawer. SA is getting big breaks left
and right: huge chunk of endorsements, tv projects, shows here and
abroad - such achievements surpassing even those of his relatives'.
A
top official TO of the company had a picture taken with SA during the
said corporate event. SA was only too privileged for the opportunity as TO belongs to the top management of the company. TO then posted their
photo on the social networking site. There were some comments, as
expected. TO reacted to a particular comment saying that SA was
allegedly drunk when he performed before a crowd of 20,000.
Will
the candid comment of TO go viral in a few days? Was SA really drunk?
If so, how will SA's network and management handle this situation? How
far will they go to reverse the issue and do damage control again?

After an actress and a singer got married, a beauty icon BI and her fiancée NF are now meticulously planning for their wedding. However, instead of having smooth preparations, BI and NF are milking their wedding to a hilt by asking for exchange deals aka ex-deals. Instead of availing of the services of their supplier companies, the couple instead, asks what the companies can offer them - for free. In short, they want ex-deals in the form of freebies/discounts for their wedding.

DC is known to do coverage of some of celebrity weddings allegedly because of the freebies it offers them.
DC flew to an Asian peninsula for the prenuptial shoot of BI and NF. After seeing the photo prints, they thumbed them down, and wanted to remove the photographers from the roster of wedding sponsors. Well, since the photography service was an ex-deal, expectations should not have been so high. That's the exact reason why celebrities avail of the services of DC to begin with.
Adding to the woes of the preparation for the wedding was BI's tardiness. She was late several times for at least two hours for her appointments with the other suppliers. Her tardiness did not sit well with these suppliers being victims of her unprofessionalism. What an irony these issues are for BI who is supposed to be an epitome of positivity owing to her many achievements.

How Nadia Montenegro and Annabelle Rama Reconciled

MANILA, Philippines -- Formally discontinuing all her legal charges against Annabelle Rama will be a "long, long process" for Nadia Montenegro, who started Tuesday her first steps to drop 26 cases filed across five courts.
The former actress on Tuesday afternoon executed her affidavit of desistance on the cases of grave coercion and grave oral defamation she filed against Rama before a San Juan City court.
An affidavit of desistance is executed by a complainant when he no longer wishes to pursue a case against an accused.
"I'm very happy, answered prayers at makakapag-move on na sa wakas. All in God's perfect time talaga," Montenegro told ABS-CBN News' Mario Dumaual in an exclusive interview.
Montenegro's move came after her emotional reconciliation with Rama early this month, when both camps agreed to finally end their legal disputes that made headlines the past two years.
According to the former actress' legal counsel, Atty. Maggie Abraham, her client is set to execute several other affidavits of desistance before four other courts in Quezon City, Pasig, Makati and Caloocan.
In total, including the two cases discontinued on Tuesday, Montenegro had filed 26 charges against Rama across these courts.
The feud stems from Montenegro's allegations of child abuse against Rama, dating back to late 2011, in relation to the talent manager's way of handling her children's showbiz careers.
How they reconciled
Recalling their heart-felt encounter last June 5, when they reconciled, Montenegro said, "Nothing was planned. I guess talagang we prayed so hard for it. I was going through my own battles, she was going through her own battles, her sadness because of the loss."
Rama lost her congressional bid in Cebu in the recent mid-term elections.
"For some weird reason," Montenegro narrated, "I told the kids on the way here (San Juan court), sabi ko, 'Smile at Tita Annabelle,' and then she smiled back. And then ayon, 'I told them to kiss her, give her a kiss,' and they all stood up, the three of them, to kiss her, and she started talking to them as if nothing happened, and so I said, 'Ah, this is the right time.'"
"So I approached her and gave her a kiss also, and we ended up hugging each other and crying. So i knew it was okay na," she said.
