I had depression to the point that i had to stop working and i had to see a doctor. Nag-exercise rin ako like walking, jogging or cycling, kasi marami bike trails sa Maryland. Kung marami lang ako money, i would go back to learning martial arts or Kung Fu or kasi noong bata pa ako, nag-martial arts rin ako noon.

Hindi talaga. Isang aspect lang yan eh. I live a comfortable life, pero when i found out my husband betrayed me, super sakit. I almost had depression (or maybe I really had) I recovered because of God and my husband’s sincere apology.
I can relate to him. I hit rock bottom as well last year. A few days into the New year, my auntie who was like my lola passed away, a couple of months later my uncle died, and then a few months later my lola passed away too. I've had the worst acne breakout. Yung mga friends na akala ko friends ko, akala ko lang pala. I had to break up the 'friendships'. The guy that I liked didn't liked me back. I cried almost everynight. Ilang beses ako umaabsent sa work. Whenever i'm at work naman,minsan bigla na lang tutulo luha ko. Sometimes nagmemental breakdown ako. It's really hard to be strong, so Kudos to Alden for making it through the hardships of life!

I don't feel bad for rich people with depression. Yes their feelings are valid but they have all the resources to get better. Also the poor are dying from starvation. Those are real life problems.

I have met several young, successful and kind people who, because of the stress they are in via their personal lives (pressure from family, being breadwinner, etc.) or at work (competitive environment, terrible colleagues, abusive and corrupt aystems) who are in emotional distress. They are clearly depressed and some are even thinking of unaliving themselves. The only thing they hold on to is that if they go, their families will suffer. So they try to hold on, seek help, so that they can carry on.
Based sa mga comments, marami pa palang tao ang di alam talaga ang depression. Kahit po gaano ka pa kayaman at kaganda ang buhay ay pwede ka tamaan ng depression. May nagsabi sakin dati na wag magkukumpara sa iba kasi magkakaiba ang bigat ng krus na pinapasan natin at hindi tayo pareparehas ng bigat na kayang buhatin. Like Dingdong, he has time for himself at na-balance niya ang lovelife at family life and work life at marami rin siyang connections. Do not be afraid to ask advices Alden, instead of trying to do it all on your own. Ask advice from Dingdong, Coco Martin or Drew etc.... about sa lovelife. Kung meron ka mga good friends na mga babae, you can ask advices from them too, para alam mo ang nararamdaman nila at kung ano ang expectations nila. Sa mga negosyo, ask those who are successful. Those na meron mga charity or foundation, ask those people kung paano nila na-sustain yon in the long-run.
I remember sinabi ni Richard Gomez kay Lucy Torres (wife), i cannot read your mind, you have to tell me what you want or do not want.. para tayo magka-intindihan. Ayun, naging successful ang relationship nilang dalawa after how many years. At sobrang mabait, understanding at hindi selosa si Lucy. Si Aga Muhlach at Charlene - the married couple love to eat breakfast and drink a cup of coffee together, while talking many things. Hindi sila na-uubusan ng topic after more 20 years of being married. At pareho nila hinihintay na gumising ang isa, para sabay sila mag-kape at mag-uusap.
Sobrang busy niya po last year. May movie + promotions, may television series + promotions + commercials + concerts. Tapos meron rin siya mga negosyo... at nag-charity rin at meron pa siyang time sa mga fans niya. Saan pa niya ipapasok ang personal time for himself dyan?? Dapat tumutulong na diyan sa mga negosyo niya at ng family nila ay ang older brother niya. Kasi he took the responsibility of his dad and older brother to give his family and siblings a comfortable life and better future.

DeleteI had depression to the point that i had to stop working and i had to see a doctor. Nag-exercise rin ako like walking, jogging or cycling, kasi marami bike trails sa Maryland. Kung marami lang ako money, i would go back to learning martial arts or Kung Fu or kasi noong bata pa ako, nag-martial arts rin ako noon.

A few days into the New year, my auntie who was like my lola passed away, a couple of months later my uncle died, and then a few months later my lola passed away too. I've had the worst acne breakout. Yung mga friends na akala ko friends ko, akala ko lang pala. I had to break up the 'friendships'. The guy that I liked didn't liked me back.
ReplyDeleteI cried almost everynight. Ilang beses ako umaabsent sa work. Whenever i'm at work naman,minsan bigla na lang tutulo luha ko. Sometimes nagmemental breakdown ako. It's really hard to be strong, so Kudos to Alden for making it through the hardships of life!

Maraming namamatay sa paligid mo, di ka makahalubilo sa tao kase bawal, walang kausap or sometimes heartbreak can lead to depression. So sa mga taong nakakaranas nito, hugs to you. DeleteI have met several young, successful and kind people who, because of the stress they are in via their personal lives (pressure from family, being breadwinner, etc.) or at work (competitive environment, terrible colleagues, abusive and corrupt aystems) who are in emotional distress. They are clearly depressed and some are even thinking of unaliving themselves. The only thing they hold on to is that if they go, their families will suffer. So they try to hold on, seek help, so that they can carry on.

ReplyDeletemay feeling talaga ako na he is going thru something. Nawala siya sa socmed late december. Then sa mga igs, madaming prayer rooms at mga quotes. Its a tough world out there, dont give too much of yourself. IM happy you got out of that rut. But you know about depression, it doesnt really go away, mag lie low and waiting for another trigger. Be strong Alden.

Anyway, I will offer an extra prayer for you Alden. Hope you heal soon. I have friends who I lost because of depression and I wish I listened to them more, I wish I checked on them more. I don’t know you personally but I want you to feel better. You got this 👊🏼
