May nursing aid or health tech na gumagawa nyan, bec nurses are busy giving meds, entering notes in the computer, dealing with families and doctors and attend critical episodes. They can still give physical care but usually its nursing aids, they just supervised. Nurses gets more vacation times than doctors or other hospital staff. I salute them, it takes someone special to do bedside nursing. Some goes to nursing to do office works with same benefits but not as fullfilling.
Not all nurses in America change diapers. There are soft nursing they work in offices, medical practice and clinics. They earn over 100k a year. There are two types of nurses in the US, the RNs and LVNs/LPNs. Lots of LPNs earn more than RNs not working on the floor, they work in offices and less stressed out. Most RNs are on the floor, they get paid good also. Nurses are paid so well in the US depending also on what department you work. The problem is a lot of Filipina nurses married to men who don’t work or don’t earn well. They are the providers in their home.
Nursing goes far beyond just bedside care or changing pads - that’s an outdated and narrow view of the profession. Nurses play vital roles across a wide range of settings. Besides working in hospitals, wards, or nursing homes, nurses are involved in, they also do Advanced Practice Roles like Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Specialists, and Nurse Anaesthetists (especially in the US, where nurse anaesthetists often earn more than UK consultants), Research Nurse (clinical or academia), Public Health Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse, School and Pediatric Nurse, Dental Nurse, Digital Nurse, Telehealth and Informatics Nurse.
I like her she seems humble. Ang daming pabebeng nurses dito sa America yung napaka show off lalo na new nurses. Halata mo bagong nurse tas nanibago.
I am Filipino and studied nursing in America. When I went in to the workforce I can see the difference of the ones trained here and trained in the Philippines. Trust me when I say lots of nurses in the Philippines are not trained well, they lag and just in it for the money. They gossip a lot and always in a hurry to leave work.
Yes here in the UK we do everything, mag wash ng patients, magpalit ng pad, mag linis ng poopoo, mag empty ng stoma bag, mag serve ng tea, mag assist ng patient papunta ng toilet, mag assist in feeding kapag may difficulty swallowing, mag change ng linens nila. Take note, nasa hospital kme ah hindi sa care home. I can’t wait to move to the US. Nurses in the UK are not respected.
Nurses still do a lot of patient care especially when there is short staffing and walang care aides to do the personal care of patients/residents in nursing home.
ICU and ER nurses do everything, ICU one to one usually ang ratio of patients to nurse because the patient is very unstable and critical so hihingi lang ng help from the care aide kapag kelangan mag-turn ng patient, pero they do everything for the patient. Same for ER nurses. They're trained to work under the most stressful situations and they usually do the pad changes themselves instead of waiting for help because things need to be done asap. Nurse/care aides in the ER usually just do the simpler stuff like give the meal trays or help the patient go to the bathroom.
1:06 mostly health care aides. Pero if busy naman sila tapos un pt is nakaka tayo and lakad naman, if nadaanan ko , I just help put on the pull ups tapos tatayo naman un pt and sila mag hila ng pull ups nila.
Lalo pag nakita mo nagimprove yung patient not just physically but on other aspects as well.
I Never met her so i dunno.
True if the nurse has the same motivation and dedication as you. Most of the nurses nowadays are only doing it for the money and not because they care about people. A lot of times they’re cold and only care about finishing their tasks without going overtime.
you don’t know how difficult and overworked nurses are. I understand na you have to be caring and all, but let’s not deny the fact na the world of healthcare is very draining, mentally, physicall, and emotionally exhausting. Try it so you will know
Ngeh utang yun. Payable in 25-30 years. People can buy everything on credit. Kaya tao kayod kalabaw
Cash or loan man yun ay kailangan pa ding mag ipon ng pang down payment at ng closing cost.
The highest paid nurses are in California. But California has high cost of living. That is why it is a status quo if you own houses or properties here. Not all can afford a house. A one bedroom one bath house ranges 500-600k. They say if you are making it in California you are really doing well coz lots of people move to other states because they can’t afford California. The thing I noticed here is the whites own lots of properties especially in mountain areas, they are lowkey though.
And you have to deal with different people. Yung iba sobrang evil like the one who physically assaulted a nurse in Florida and she sustained critical injuries.
sa US you can buy a house maski di ka nurse basta u got the right credit score, w/ stable job, may pang downpayment, loan naman yan, 25-30 yrs babayaran ang mortgage.
I worked with her at one point. She’s very very compassionate. The way she cared for the patients nya nakakabilib. She was also so kind and so humble. Far from the character that she used to portray on TV.
Being a nurse or any medical field as a profession very useful sa family mo . You can apply ang knowledge na pag aralan mo in case may nagkasakit sa family mo.
Deleteyes 1:06.

DeleteI was an office nurse we don’t change pads. Paid so good but sitting all day is not for me. It wasn’t healthy, I went back to the floor.

DeleteGinagawa parin ng nurse kahit may nursing aide
DeleteDahil minsan ang patiente ay 2 person assist
1:06, sa US hindi. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and nagpapaligo at nagpapalit ng diaper ng pasyente.
Delete@1:45. 30 patients max for long term care… too much!
Lalo pag nakita mo nagimprove yung patient not just physically but on other aspects as well.
ReplyDeleteI’m old enough to remember kung gaano kasuplada si Princess noon. Time humbled her.
ReplyDeleteTrue ba na suplada siya? I Never met her so i dunno.
DeleteMabait naman talaga sya, to begin with.
Alam ko kontrabida role but not suplada in real life.
DeleteSino ka naman kasi para pansinin niya? Magkakilala ba kayo?

DeleteTotoo yan. Panay reklamo at gusto umuwi, bakasyon, shopping.
DeleteLaki ng sahod ng nurse sa US. They have the ability purchase a house in just a year or two
ReplyDeleteNgeh utang yun. Payable in 25-30 years. People can buy everything on credit. Kaya tao kayod kalabaw

Cash or loan man yun ay kailangan pa ding mag ipon ng pang down payment at ng closing cost.

DeleteHer post is sincere, heart felt & inspiring. She's accomplished, fulfilled & found her calling. I am happy for her.🙂😊🙂
ReplyDeleteMula ulo hanggang paa ang tingin sa iyo ng nurse working from abroad :D :D :D Ay di ka nurse from abroad, what's wrong with you? ;) ;) ;)
