    4. Me, too, 10:34. My daughter just made a comment that she's fortunate to have known a true Queen in her lifetime. Because from here on until the end of her life, it will be a reigning king.

  5. An end of an era... lahat ng major world events na witness/experience nya. From WWII to COVID-19... from the time na radio lang ang means of broadcasting news to the social media of today... she faced it all with dignity and grace.

She lived a full life. RIP, to her Majesty.

    1. 1923 pa pinanganak si QE2 so hindi lang WW2 naabutan nya. Pati pa yun stock market crash ng 1920s. The ensuing financial depression that affected even the rich people in the UK. Imagine naging prime Minister nya pa si Winston Churchill.

    2. Recently lang I saw her videos using Zoom Meeting

And one of her favorite PM daw ni queen elizabeth si winston churchill because of his humor and wisdom

    3. Girl sino ka para magdikta? It's like saying a person living alone is lonely. Being alone, or living your life for others doesn't mean you've never lived your life. Tatak mo sa utak mo yan.

    4. But someone has to do it. She never wanted to be queen. She was quite contented to be the niece of the monarch. But when the role passed to her, she felt it was her duty. And she performed that duty very well.

    5. I have to agree with 1157. A life being constantly scrutinized by the media isn't easy BUT that is why the Queen is so respected. She truly believed in her calling to lead and she navigated all the crisis during her reign with so much grace, dignity and respect. Anyone who held her position would have been broken down into pieces with all the negative media attention and the weight on her shoulder but this lady remained steadfast. She has got to be one of the most resilient humans I know in my lifetime. Much much RESPECT!

    6. Well said, Procopia! We will never see the likes of Her Majesty again, sadly.

  23. Her last known photo was actually chilling. She looked so frail and her hands showing bruises. She normally wore gloves except that time, its like preparing people of something worst.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I guess she'll have a special place in everyone's heart. Gone but not forgotten. May she be reunited with her husband!

  25. She reminds me of my grandmother na parang nawalan ng gana to live when my lolo died. Sumunod din sya after 8 months.

    1. No you're not feelingera. Normal to feel very sad lalo na since birth, nakikita na natin siya at nasanay sa presence niya.

    2. Hindi ka feelingera, hija. Naging part lang talaga sya ng existence natin. Isa syang iconic figure sa mundo ng mga royalties at naging prominent part sya sa buhay ng mga tao, kahit ng mga hindi nya nasasakupan.

    2. Mali ka baks 1:03. Si Prince William ang next in line in Charles. Tapos sunod kay Prince William ay yung panganay niyang anak na lalake

    3. 2:43 kaya nga daw far behind na kasi may mga anak rin si Charles at mga apo na next in line sa throne.

  35. Parang awkward pa pakinggan ang King Charles. Simula kasi nagkamuwang ako Queen Elizabeth na nakasanayan kong marinig at mabasa. 🤧

  36. We can no longer use the phrase "Going to London to visit the queen!" Wahhhh. Awkward to use "king" at lalong wag na sa "queen consort". hmpffff

  37. What's even admirable is she worked and did her duties to the last day. She also didn't seem to suffer from many health issues, most especially dementia that affects many her age. She is that strong and queenly. Truly meant to be a leader. She had done well. It's now time for her to rest.

    1. Having hobbies and an intellectually and socially stimulating lifestyle as you age can help ward cognitive decline and dementia. Masyadong busy at exciting ang lifestyle ni Queen Elizabeth, plus she had her corgis and was breeding horses to keep her active. Old age lang talaga ang kalaban nya.

      Delete
    2. I hope her corgis will be taken care of after her passing
