    2. Theres a nicer way to say that you hate her outfit, 8:29. Below the belt n kasi ang pinagsasabi nya. Even westerners n kung mas blunt and hasher sila doon ay not impress with it. Worse, even Drag race alumni ay nainsulto s way nang pagcritique nya.

    3. 9:51 sa art industry kasi karamihan harsh talaga mga criticism ng mga tao doon to push you more at iimprove ang sarili mo. Dapat di ka balat sibuyas

    2. How about Simon?

  4. Daming sensitive masyado. Judges at TV competitions before used to have harsher comments. ANTM, American Idol, Project Runway during its earlier seasons to name a few.

    1. It was a different time. Di na yan gagana in today's climate 😂

    2. But this show is different. Drag shows don’t focus on what’s on trend like those shows you have mentioned. Humor, production and lip syncs ang important. And part lang yung design challenge.

Remember that these drag queens reasons why they enter this industry are to just express themselves, be free from restrictions. Kebs kung baduy or out of this world yung branding nila.

So yung criticism ni Rajo ay out of line.

      Delete
  5. Mataas ang standards nya and there's nothing wrong with that
Tama rin naman na a lot of them di naman fashion designers or walang team or money to have outfits na bongga
Kaya mahirap din ang lugar nila

  6. Love na pala yung mantawag ng trash. Inedit out ba yung constructive criticism na part?

  7. Sana sumagot contestant ng “at least my design is original not a copycat from an international designer.”

  9. Ang sensitive na lahat ngayon. These guys didn't grow up watching mga Americas/Asias Top Model, Project Runway and the likes of Reality TV. Lahat balat sibuyas

    1. Theres another way to state truth. You dont need to be mean pra magsabi ng totoo. If Rajo really care or love these contestants, he would not say these words.

      Delete
    2. There’s a way to speak the truth so that it is constructive and not just plain insulting or arrogant. We’re forgetting the other truth which is this show happened at the height of the pandemic where the contestants sorely lacked budget and resources.

  14. Relate I'm a type of person na walang sugarcoating madalas ako maka offend and I know that and people think na masama ugali ko dahil lang nagsasabi ako ng totoo. Sanay kasi sila na puro praises sila kahit plastick pakinnggan.

    1. Being real doesn't always mean being rude. Magkaiba yon.

      Delete
    2. No. There is a nicer way to say things. You can be direct but not rude. Unfortunately for you, you seem to be the latter.

      Delete

      Delete
    4. minsan parang ginagawang excuse ng masasamang ugali yang "being real" kung alam mong maraming asar sayo ikaw ang problema te. you can be blunt to people but make sure namang hindi ka nagmumukhang arogante, diretsohin mo sila in a nice way baka hindi mo alam psychological trauma na ang binibigay mo sa ibang tao. at syempre ano bang pake mo eh masama ugali mo eh karamihan pa naman sa ganyan ang ugali pikon din pag sila ang nasa ganyang sitwasyon.

      Delete
Gusto ata puro papuri. Walang nag-iimprove sa puro papuri.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ang daming sensitive sa mga ito. sumali pa kayo sa competition pero hindi ninyo naman kayang mag-accept ng critique. aysus. i notice that when the competition is peppered too much compliments and praise the contestant that comes out in the end are often mediocre. let's compare it to american idol na lang. during simon cowell's time he maybe rough and unlikable to a lot of people for what he said but it turns out for the better.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Tong mga to balat sibuyas gusto ng fairness at equality pero pag trinato ng totoo gusto special treatment grow the f up!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well he is a judge after all. 🤷‍♂️

  19. Ang OA ng mga snowflake na ito!!! Watch the foreign version of the show and they are even more direct criticism. It’s a competition about style, artistry, performance and whatnot. If you can’t take criticism don’t join or watch the show. The show had always been sassy no place for snowflakes!

    4. Ive seen all seasons and AS… not even Ru gave a critique like trash or atrocious

    5. Halatang di nanunuod ng Ru Paul’s drag race. Ru Paul don’t give “mean” critics like that

  20. To be fair, pangit naman talaga yung kinalabasan. Even sa comments ng ibang queens, di daw nila magets or di nila nagustuhan. When he said I'm being harsh coz I know you can do better, mej nagets ko rin coz Eva's runway were always so glamorous, her taste sa presentations very expensive looking. Akala ko nga kanya tong episode na to. I guess di lang talaga niya forte yung creation and design.

    ReplyDelete
  21. he is speaking from an expert point of view.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I know my point si Rajo pero sana nagback up sya ng details kung bakit nya nasabi na trash at kung anong dapat na ginawa nya sana. Para di ganun kasakit sa tenga.

    ReplyDelete

Mas harsh pa magsalita sina Gloria Diaz at Boy Abunda. Swerte lang nila walang Twitter noon.

  28. The difference between this and RuPaul's OG show is that the judges like Ross and Michelle Visage criticize a lot, but they also fill their comments with sarcasm, wit, and cheekiness. So their comments don't come across as vicious, but just plain shade and a "read" on the Queens' performances. Rajo's comments lack grace. Even in ordinary life, people use words like "atrocity" to describe something with the intent to hurt. Telling someone their work is atrocious and ugly is very insulting, that kind of vocabulary doesn't come from a place of love.

    2. Super agree, People here in PH are just used to throwing insults and normazaling it. Also many don't understand the concept of drag race. It's not just an ordinary reality show competition.

      Delete
    3. Agreeing with this. This is the reason why Santino was removed from the show. They received many complaints how he was being too rude on his critiques to the contestants.

      Delete
    4. Girl, nasa competition sila hindi counselling. If you want to reach the same level as your inspiration, or even exceed his achievement then you really need to learn it the hard way. But if you want to be mediocre, then you can settle with those who just give you safe comments or feedback. Like Sharon Cuneta kind of feedback.

    5. 1:25 obviously, wala kang alam sa Drag race. Kaya yan ang comment mo.

      Delete

      Delete
    7. 1:25 you're ridiculously ignorant of Drag Race's nature. Who said Drag Race should be a counseling show? You obviously haven't seen RuPaul's OG show to say judges need to be harsh so the contestants don't end up "mediocre". It's clear from your ignorant comment that you don't even know what I'm talking about when I said judges like Ross and Michelle Visage know how to criticize the Queens on their show without putting them down and trashing their work. And really, exceed Rajo Laurel? He's a nobody in the international world. Nobody should learn the hard way to impress him and he doesn't need to be rude and crass just to show how much he cares.

      Delete

  29. Ummmm siya kasi ang judge? He knows better coz he’s a designer.

  32. Dami naman sibuyas dito. International channel nga super manglait ang judge, Gordon Ramsay, Simon ng AGT bakit di madaming sibuyas dun. Hello naman ang OOA ng pinoy.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Rajo Laurel fan here. Bases on reading and watching his interviews through the years, I thought his comments came from a place of love and support. Rajo did not call the person X, he viewed the work product as X. Carino brutal, as they say.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  35. Pinoy talaga react ng react without understanding hayyyyyalimangoooo

    ReplyDelete
Trabaho nya mang "judge." Kaloka mga to!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Honestly palagay ko its just for publicity for the show. Sympre paguusapan eh.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I worked with Rajo in PRP not gonna tell what season, but he is a nice person inside and out. Though, I agree he might have been a little to harsh on Eva la Queen on this episode. But I know for sure that he said this because he believes Eva la Queen can do way way better on that episode. Harsh words may have thrown out, he did this also during one episode that I am with. But he did all of these to tell the contestants that this is not what they expect from them because they believed in them for doing much capable overall look. But then again, I believe he should issue an apology right directly to Eva.

    ReplyDelete
Pwede naman in a good way, hindi yung toxic and negative words na alam nating tatagos sa katauhan ng kinicriticize natin. Yet we celebrate Pride eme eme.

  42. FYI mga besh, scripted po yan, lahat ng shows may script, and para mapag-usapan ang show, they have to come up to simethung interesting, and it was just one of those. Wag mahayblad mga besh!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  44. To be honest, nasusuya ako s pagjudge nila kay Turing. Like honestly, laging pinagdidiinan na mataba ka. Oo, mataba sya but nasa era tayo na body positivity. Turing has a talent pero lagi nila tinatabunan na "mataba ka". Sa OG and other international Drag race, weight ay hndi sukatan ng talent mo. Jiggly should brief her fellow judges kasi she experience how the OG judged. Masyadong backward thinker ang mga judges.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 5:02 are you even paying attention? Never naging issue ang pagiging mataba nya. Plus the make up. Horrible.

  45. Baka may script yan para mas may drama itong Drag race.
