    2. Ganyan din ako at karamihan nung nag-unmask dito sa US. Pero pasasaan man at magsasawa ka rin!

We have to live with it whether we like it or not.

    2. Anong klaseng reasoning yan ?

      Delete
    4. Actually hindi siya mindset. Nangyari din sa amin yan. 7:46 yun kinuwento nila 6:32 at 7:20. We had covid twice. 2020 and 2021. Na never kame lumabas ng bahay. Never din naka mintis ng vitamins. I think malaking factor and vitamin D sa immune system ng tao. At nakuha namen eto when cases in our community is high. So regardless na di ka lumabas, yun hangin na nasasagap mo from the outside with open windows + low immunity level dahil walang natural source of vitamin d, ang laking factor nun. So ending, lumabas na kame ng lumabas with mask on. Sa awa naman ng diyos, covid free kame lahat kahit nag back to school na. We still antigen twice a month for peace of mind. I agree with John, mask on until you are comfortable enough to remove it.

You should be ashamed of yourself kesa magyabang pa na hindi ka pa nagkaka covid. You actually don’t know kung nagkaroon ka na because there’s a thing called asymptomatic

      Delete
    7. Anon 6:32, what if ikaw pala carrier ng virus? Nagkataong asymptomatic ka? Kaya hindi ka aware?

      Delete

      Delete
    9. 6:32 why did you have to put your roommate's immunity on the spot to flex na mas malakas resistensya mo. Unless you have other roommates, I assume that s/he got sick fr you and maybe you were just lucky na nung tinest ka, wala ung virus. Di ko gets ung point ng comment. COVID is no joke kahit less ang symptoms and we also dont know how its gonna impact our bodies long term. you cant just tell people to live with it just because kaya ng katawan mo.

Maaring ikaw hindi nagastos pero ung roommate mo, time and money din kasi she maybe had to skip work or get meds. I get your point to live with it pero off ang example mo.

      Delete
    10. Actually you'll never know eh until you get tested. Ang daming silent spreader din lurking around. It so happen that meron lang ding mga symptomatic.

      Delete
    11. Then Yung mga immunocompromised Dapat ang Di lumabas. At sila mag double mask ,vaccine works daw diba ? What are you afraid of ?

      Delete
    12. 6:32 Common sense is what you should advocate.

My family and I unmask sa park when we’re at least several meters away from people, then we mask up when social distancing is not possible. From 2020 up to now, we’ve been using N95 kahit mahal kasi mas mahal magpa-ospital, and sa awa ng Dios, my family and I never pa nagka-Covid even though we do go out when necessary and even eat out (pero not during peak hours).

      Delete
    13. Gurl if di siya lumalabas, malamang ikaw ang carrier. Mas malakas lang immunity mo but you’ve compromised someone else because of your recklessness

      Delete
    14. Ayan nga ang problema, Hindi naman sila magkakacovid just because. Walang magic. Meron source yan.

      Delete

    16. Nangyari sa amin yan, maid namin working student. Sha daw walang Covid Di sha nahahawa Pero lahat kami nagkaroon at base sa contact tracing sha suspect. as in labas ng labas commute papuntang school. Sha pa May gana magalit na paghinalaan sha. Ayan yung mga taong dapat iniiwasan. Kasalanan namin tinanggap namin sa kagustuhan namin tumulong buong pamilya namin nagkacovid except her.eh halos Di kami lumalabas. eh Di wow sha strong immunity kami Hindi. Sha pa mayabang. Sarap palayasin.

      Delete
    19. I’m sure ikaw nag bigay dahil ikaw yung lumalabas. Feeling mo. I’m sure asymptomatic pero nakakahawa

      Delete

      Delete
    21. 6:32 PM - If hindi lumalabas roommate mo and ikaw labas ng labas tapos sya nagkasakit then IKAW ang dahilan ng kanyang pagkakasakit. IKAW ang nagbigay sa kanya ng Covid. IKAW ang irresponsible and unbothered. You are the very individual John Arcilla is cautioning others from becoming now that face masks are optional.

  4. I respect anyone's decision to continue wearing it outdoors. Just don't insist or demand others na makakasalubong niyo to do the same.

    1. Agree.

    4. Unthinking person spotted. Do Filipinos take ethics and philosophy or critical thinking class ? Parang parrots mga tao dito eh

      Delete
    5. Agree. May trust ako sa vaccine and research based naman yan.

      Delete
  5. Salamat sa paninindigan John Arcilla. We HCW thank you.

      Delete
  9. Anyone is free naman to do what they want. As for me, I'll only wear it when inside public transportations and establishments like malls.

    ReplyDelete
  10. At this point, it’s just a personal preference. A lot of people can still get it, but the symptoms are not as severe as during the height of the pandemic. Whether it’s from the vaccine or just natural immunity, our immune system already knows how to “react” to this virus. If you don’t feel safe without mask, then you should continue wearing it. No one should be called out for wearing or not wearing mask. It’s your body, your health.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

      Delete
    3. That’s why if you don’t trust people and you think they have it, and you might get it, go and don your mask, don’t go where it’s too crowded. No one is stopping you. But some people choose to live their life without worries, and you can’t blame them for doing so. Let’s live and let live. 😊

      Delete

Pag malala at may pera siguro. Pag wala, inom ng gamot at mask up lang.

      Delete
    6. I agree with you, 9:26. Long covid is real. My son is living proof of that. We live here in Canada wherein optional na lang mask for some time now. Nung na infect son ko, I took care of him. Awa ng Diyos, fo na infect the rest of the household kasi even if he was isolating, we wore mask even sa bahay. That was months ago. Until now, madalas ubo niya, he had to use his asthma puffers more often than he did pre-pandemic and madali siyang mapagod. Kahi sa work and school, he continues to mask and siya mismo bumibili ng N95 niya. I continue to mask, too, to protect din yung hubby kong may comorbidities. Even though we have received our 2nd boosters, and soon yung bivalent vaccine, we don't want to take a chance. Its so very uncertain how long covid will affect your future health, incapacitate you even, much less subject otgers to to it, too. The only time I will get rid of the mask is when they officially declare the pandemic over.

      Delete
    7. Agree. Optional na dahil pwede na. Yung mga takot pa eh di magmask kayo.

    2. Still lawsy p rin yyng tumayalsik pag nagdedeluver sila. At hindi porket ok swab test mo eh sure k n na wal kang covid.

  12. No one should be called out for wearing and not wearing it. Afterall, is no longer mandatory. Meaning we all have a free will to remove our mask whenever we feel comfortable of removing it na. And likewise if we still want to put it on for our own health, safety and peace of mind.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Ok good for you.

    1. Laging huli at puro takot? Hindi ba pwedeng takot talaga magkasakit dahil walang perang panggamot, may kasamang bata/matanda sa bahay na may comorbidity o sadyang takot lang talaga magkasakit at mamatay? Paki lawakan naman sana ang pag-iisip.

  18. Everyone should respect one’s decision na lang on mask wearing, and the govt should not mandate it. I personally dont wear one, as Im fully vaccinated. Kaya nga merong vaccines eh, which may not be foolproof against reinfection but have been effective on balance in reducing the risk of severe illness and death. And the latter is what we should really pay attention to. Also if you’re not vaccinated, dont expect na kami pa mag-adjust.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
So it’s not an excuse na vaccinated. Mask is still your best protection.

    3. Tama, 4:49 at 9:45. Long covid, marami pang studies na ginagawa diyan and doctors are urging as muvh ss possible, do the best you can not to get reinfected.Yung cumulative effects ng covid can be damaging if not later on. And if you get infected, that means nakakahawa ka rin. Paano na if immuno-compromised yung nahawaan mo at kinamatay niya?

      Delete
  19. Me too. For me, normal ng mag mask. Covid 19 won't go out from our daily lives. Nanganak pa nga sya. I will respect those who will not wear it, but be reminded also for your actions. Kung closed door like papasok ka ng elavator, public restroom or small room, ensure to wear mask. You just don't protect yourself, you protect others as well.

    1. Agree. I will call out those random people who do not wear masks and do not practice social distancing when they get near me. Di biro ang covid. May ibang nagka covid na long term ang side effects like brain fog and fatigue.

Tapos di napupuno ospital, maaga pa nagsasara dahil konti pasyente kamo. Tapos no mask? Goodluck

    ReplyDelete
  24. As a severe covid survivor, pinagmamask pa rin ako ng doctor ko which is okay for me.

    ReplyDelete
  25. this is me also, although irita pa din ako sa facemask kasi hirap ako huminga hindi ko isasangkalang yung family ko sa sakit dahil sa pagiging makasarili ko. better safe than sorry.

  26. Sige ok na po. We got it, sir!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Boggles my mind until now yung mga reasoning na “di nga ako nagmmask pero kasama ko mask magkasakit..” stuff like that. It’s that kind of backwards thinking and self-entitlement which can get OTHERS sick because who knows - baka ikaw yung dahilan nagkasakit kasama mo dahil asymptomatic ka? For me, I will still wear my mask especially in indoor places. I will respect those who won’t but I will correct if in enclosed spaces. I don’t want to be the reason why someone else would get sick. My husband got Covid from work (airline industry). Naturally ako nag alaga sa kanya and thankfully I did not contract it. I felt so bad for him of what he went through and I don’t want anyone else to experience it or anything worse than that. Stay safe everyone. Be vigilant and don’t be embarrassed to correct or encourage people around you.

  28. A relative works from home since pandemic started. As hindi talaga lumalabas. Pero siya pa ang nakasagap ng virus & is now under medication. Tanging labas lang niya nitong nagpacheck up at nakakagulantang resulta. Do not lack discernment na lang on when, where, why & for who/ what purpose ka mag face mask.

Ang sarap pala maging normal, and not just yun wala mask ah. Yun feeling na hindi ka takot and you can do what you want like before. We need to start adopting to covid, hindi na yan mawawala like flu. Disciplina talaga ang kelangan more than anything. If may kasama ka may commodity then extra ingat but dont expect everyone else will thats the sad truth
