    1. No it’s not. Educate mo na lang ang sarili mo.

    2. 4:55 no need to be harsh po kay 2:50. Even ako confused sa term na queer, even if ilang beses na ako nagbasa about LGBTQ+ terms.

      Delete
    3. 4:55 admit it vague talaga ang definition ng queer kahit mag tumbling tumbling kp kk google.

      Delete
    4. 4:55 respect others para irespect ka din, you should know that by now.

pero for now, ako na mauuna rumespeto sayo,we will educate ourselves para hindi nakakahiya sayo and sorry again.

    5. When this is the chance to educate and enlighten those who wanted to know the community more, may ganitong klaseng response! Oh well!

    6. 7:30 talaga ilang beses na? Baka ayaw mo lang talaga unawain. Parang pasok sa kanang tenga, labas sa kaliwa.

    7. 2:50 not necessarily.. queer could also be weird/odd/strange.

      Delete
    8. 4:55pm Yabang mo.

      Delete
    9. 4:55, 2:50 is politely asking. How rude of you to say educate yourself. You can't change the fact that there's a ton of labels out there and it's truly is confusing for some if not most.

      Delete
    10. Pilosopo mo naman 730.

      Delete
    11. 4:55 Asking others is wanting to educate one's self. Ang rude na ng mga tao ngayon

      Delete
    12. 4:55 please educate yourself about good manners and right conduct.

      Delete
    13. Ako rin, in my 50s, confused din. Mas saavy sila sa mga new terms being used now. Buti na lang di nila ako sinasagot na "google is your friend, " or "educate yourself." In this day and age, bawal at masama na bang magtanong?

      Delete
    14. Queer po is both. You are either boy or a girl.Or questioning-your still confuse of who you are or still exploring your sexuality. It’s very confusing but these terms are already used since the 80’s but Philippines is a very conservative country kaya hanggang ngayon e hindi pa natatackle or na eexplain mn lang sa mga tao.

      Delete
    15. 4:55 educate yourself about manners cos you clearly have none

      Delete
    16. 1:49 Hindi pilosopo si 7:30. Marami talaga kaming nacoconfuse.

      Delete
    17. 7:48 Philippines is not a “very conservative country”. Philippines is the most close minded country when it comes to lgptq matters.

    18. Sadly, mukhang tama ka, 3:56. Very taboo kuno pag usapan ang sexuality or even acknowledge it. Twisted at dysfunctional.

    19. What a haughty remark 11:57PM. A lot of the commenters are still confused and asking about LGBTQ+ terms. We're trying to understand kasi nag iinarte kayong we don't understand you, we don't honor your rights, etc. Kaya nga nagtatanong. Para maintidihan!

      Delete
    20. Pardon me 11:57PM/1:49AM. Allow me to expound further. LGBTQIA:

I understand Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Asexual.

      I understand Cisgender and Hetero.

I don't understand Queer. Is it non binary? Because the terms and definitions are always evolving and changing. No need to be condescending.

    21. I'll answer this with humility. I encountered the word queer in Garbage's song called Queer and the book Perks of Being A Wallflower. Queer pala means 3rd sex. Pwede gay or lesbian.

It can refer to either a female or male person who does acting. Which is sad.

      Delete
    22. True, I graduated with honors but I also didn’t know that gays can be bading or lesbian. Di kasi tinuturo yun and our basis was yung characters lang na portrayed by Roderick Paulate in the 90s… at yung kung ano ang nakikita ntn sa paligid— having eventually read more sexualized books, I kinda got it that gay may refer to badings and lesbians but then there came all these letters that confused me more… I still get confused a lot… kahit anong basa or pag aaral ng iba’t ibang studies di rin immediate learning eh… dapat deep and continuous ang interest mo to know— iba kasi yung practical experience; meeting different people and knowing how they label themselves, mas lalong nakakalito kasi you can’t be wrong at such sensitive case eh— pero when we assume, most of the time we are wrong; example someone can really be beautiful pala and girly yet identifies as lesbian, eh lumaki akong ang lesbians or tomboy ay butch na butch… at tlgng pa-maton kumilos… parang it trumps all the books I have read… but tama si rude commenter— dapat nga siguro I educate myself more kasi dapat updated tlg tayo— mahirap yung akala natin ang runong natin pero IRL, we know nothing… believe me, sa experience ko, it’s always a shocker cause we dont really understand what it means until we immerse into it…

    4. That's very common for teenagers in all girls schools. They go into relationships with schoolmates. As they grow up and get exposed to more people, most of them go into heterosexual relationships. Only a few stay as lesbians.

    5. I think din. Nun ganyan age i have a kafling na Lesbian, i thought it was love. Hehe pero nu nag 20s na ko. No pla, boy pala hanap ko kasi gusto ko magkapamilya. Pwedeng asa identical crisis pa sya.

When I was 15 I really really wanted to be a woman. Life could have been difficult if I went through the HRT Surgery.

Im 33 now. A gay male, who is secure to his sexuality and self.
Thanks for listening to my tedtalk

    11. I can relate as my daughter is 16 now and nasa confusing phase. Way back sa high school ko that was an all-girls Catholic school, it was common to have a crush sa school mate mo. We thought nothing of it. Most (not all) have pursued heterosexual relationships later on in life.

      Delete
    12. maybe it is maybe it's not. but don't assume that "it's just a phase".

      Delete
    13. Not ignorance 12:39. It's being realistic. Mga kabataan ngayon they love joining the bandwagon pero sooner or later magbabago din isip ng mga yan.

      Delete
    14. that's the worst possible thing you can say to them 4:48

      Delete
    15. 12:39 For some people, it really is a phase. Teenagers in an exclusive girls school go into relationships with their schoolmates. But they grow and get exposed to different people. Some of them will go into hetero relationships. Some stay the same.

      Delete
    16. 952 its true.

    17. Identity crisis is normal sa mga kabataan during adolescence period.

      Delete
    18. A lot of people think it’s “just a phase” kasi mag aasawa naman eventually. You realize this is because of societal pressure and non acceptance, not really because “it’s just a phase”. I know a lot of gays in their early days na nag asawa but guess what they’re still gay - na pressure lang kasi itatakwil. Also, younger generations now are smarter and braver.

  15. I remember back in college, I had this huge crush sa classmate kong babae. I was 16-17 that time. I'm so confused and afraid na baka lesbian nga ako. I'm not boyish, I like to wear girl clothes. Usually girls yung friends ko. And it turned out, it's just a phase lang pala. Nagka identity crisis pala ako that time. After that incident, hindi na ako nagka gusto to any girl/s. Only my husband knows about it. Hehe

    ReplyDelete
  19. Since we are on the topic of education, let me just express this. These are the type of comment that shows bigotry and homophobia.
Are you saying that LGBT did not have the right guidance of parents? Why is there a need to pass this so called phase?
