Sino na ba ang director nila ngayon? Is it Coco? Anyway, good for John na he's trying new things. Mukhang ok naman sya as director ng concerts and variety show. It's a leap from that to doing drama kung saan may story, may narrative. Not that prestige project ang AP when it comes to narrative. Pero hopefully he learns to do directing na telling a story and pushing your actors sa characters nila as opposed to solely focused on technical side of things.
Mukhang dito sya sa Ang Probinsyano magpapraktis! Yes, I agree. It takes a different skill ang magdirek ng may kwento. May characters na kailangang gabayan. Then again, ang gawain lang naman nila sa probinsyano -- estab shot (drone or wide shot), may magsasalita tutok camera then zoom in, salita next character tutok camera zoom in, etc etc.
