    1. The profit and greed of war. Corporations and powerful people behind the scenes are the ones gaining from this curated war efforts at the expense of innocent Afghan people.

War means money for procurement of weapons, ammunitions, etc.

Ano yun, forever silang ipagtatanggol ng US? Walang sariling kakayanan for the past how many decades?

I even saw an interview of a young man late teens to 20s yun age. He speaks English really well kaya siguro sya yun ininterview nung reporter ng CNN. He was asked where his parents were tapos sabi nya kakamatay lang dahil sa gyera sa kanila. All he has with him is his little sister, nung minention nya yun kapatid nya nag break down sya. It doesn't take a genius to realize that he cried like that cause alam nya na under the Taliban his sister's life is in danger.

    1. That's like the scene in Brad Pitt's zombie movie na hinahabol na ng mga zombie at mga tao na gustong makaligtas yung mga papatake-off na mga eroplano.
That's the most chilling part in the movie for me and I never thought na after several years lang makikita ko sya sa news na nangyayari na in real life.

  5. This is so true!!

    2. 12:49. US talaga may kasalanan no? Hindi yung taliban? Haha. 20 years. They got helped for 20 years. Hindi pa ba enough yun to protect themselves.

      Delete
    3. 2:02 since magaling ka, try mo hanapin kung ano ang buhay ng mga taga Afghanistan bago sila pakealaman ng US. Why did they needed the help? Because the US made sure they do.

    5. I am one of the displaced person during Marawi siege and I personally witness the feeling being in a war. The siege started on May 23,2017 but my neighbors, my family and I escaped Marawi on May 27,2017. The feeling of anxious, hunger, sleepless night from the bullets, ammunition bombs and jetplanes have caused a lot of trauma specially for the children (my cousins and nephews and nieces). Seeing what is happening in Afghanistan brought memories. People of Marawi escaped the city on the day of Maute occupation. People were scared. Kami naiwan kasi wlang masakyan at walang mapuntahan. Until now nakikitira pa rn kami. Pati ung mga shelter houses for relocation hindi kmi naka kuha. Namatay tatay at mama ko peo hindi pa rin kmi nakaka balik s bahay nmin after 4 years of Marawi siege. The government of Marawi prioritize the beautification kaysa sa welfare ng mga tao. Sad but true mahirap ang buhay pag nsa gyera ka.

    6. I'm not really a fan of US but it's not their fault. Karapatan nilang magpull-out na ng troops doon kasi ilang years naman na sila dun at ang laki-laki ng ginagastos nila dyan yearly, billions. Taliban ang may kasalanan dyan, wag tayong malito.

      Delete
    7. 2:20 AM Please read more about it. The US' "help" destabilized the country, which lead to this.

      Delete
    9. 12:49 Jusmio, those equipments used by Taliban were stolen from defeated Afghan forces whom the US trained for 20 years and supplied them with military equipments.

      Delete
Demonyo yang US na yan!

      Delete
    11. So, US lang ang may kasalanan bakit nagkagulo ang Afghanistan for 2 decades at US pa din may kasalanan when they left? Hello!! Where are your brains?

It's everyone's fault! Afghans did not fight for themselves, the US and its allies (Uk and other western countries) gave up, the neighboring Islam or middle-east countries closed their borders for them and the people around the world just loved the blame game!

Easy for some of you to pinpoint here di nyo mn lang inisip mga sacrifices ng mga nasawi. Pero since isang side of story lang pinaniwalaan nyo (like the docu you mentioned), sarado talaga utak nyo. Pakilawakan at huwag maging feeling expert.

      20 long years is enough.

Salamat Loydie for bringing this up. Prayers for the people of Afghanistan. 🥺🙏

    2. Blame the Afghan govt and military. The US have stayed in Afghanistan for 20 yrs already, trillions spent, thousands of American lives lost. 20 yrs training and giving their military weapons and yet they didn’t even put up a fight. No courage and willpower.

      Delete
    3. Why blame the US? The country helped them for 20 years. Isn’t that enough? Do you know how much was spent in those 20 years at the expense of the taxpayers? Kasama na ako dun. I wish that money was spent to improve our country’s infrastructure and education. Kapal mo naman!

Walang strategy e.

    6. 1:58 20 years is not enough to build a strong nation.. Look at PH which has been a colony for almost 500 years and an independent country about 70 years where is it now. And yes we are still getting US assistance and other ODA in all those 70 or so years

      Delete
    7. The US spent 83 billion equipping, training and developing Afghan army, police, air force, special forces and it all went down the drain real quick. Dami kasing kurakot sa gobyerno at military which demoralized the soldiers. It's hard having a sense of national duty when they have to scrape by to survive while the high ranking officials embezzle money meant for their salaries and training.

      Delete
Tapos ngayon puro mga lalaki nauunang tumakas sa bansa nila and they rather die by running away than in fighting. tsk

Why not blame Afghanistan President and their govt?

Anong mahihita mo kung mismong govt ng Afghanistan walang silbi masyadong nag depend sa US, don’t wanna fight their own battle, …smh🤦‍♀️

  14. Over a trillion dollars was poured into Afghanistan for over twenty years to rebuild the country, educate their people and train their military. In the end, none of these efforts made any difference because the people, police and military simply gave up when the Taliban came to take their towns and cities.

  15. :01 FYI, it was trump who made the withdrawal agreement in Feb. 2020 with the Taliban, Biden was just honoring the agreement. The Republicans are playing politics again putting all the blame on Biden just to put him down.
What happened has nothing to do with tbe current US leadership, pulling out is the wisest move, US should have pulled out a long time ago. The original plan was just to get Osama Bin Laden who allegedy were in Afghanistan being protected by the Taluban, so US troops attacked. But it turned out the US was misled because Bin Laden was in Pakistan all those times. Bottom line is Afghanistan is a tribal nation, they are stuck in the medieval ages and is not interested in nation building. They must be left alone, democracy is not for everyone. If they wanted it so bad they sure didn't fight hard.

    1. My dear - there's no question about the issue about withdrawal from Afghanistan, Biden is NOT criticized for that. it is the MANNER by which Joe handled the withdrawal. if you are saying republicans are playing politics by putting blame on Biden, you are guilty of the same- playing politics by blaming trump. Own up, be accountable. No blame game here. People are suffering. There is a better way to handle this and Biden's way is heartless and irresponsible.

Also, it is widely known that Republicans play ditry. But that doesn't mean that ALL Democrats are flawless. There is rampant misinformation in the U.S that started during Nixon's time. And Reagan's removal of the Freedom Doctrine (I suggest you read about this) that made the trajectory faster leading to its current state. I'm saying this because I studied Political History and I have no stake in US, not a US citizen, not pro-Dem nor pro-GOP, just someone looking from tbe outside throughh the lens of verified facts. Gid Bless America and may the truth prevail.
