Lea is right. Everyone wants to sing like Whitney!!! The late legendary Whitney Houston is the ONLY singer I know that can belt so effortlessly. A very powerful voice but soothing because she does not scream. This was what made her so unique and special. I saw her singing the US National Anthem in person many years and was just beyond amazing. The rest are just 3rd rate copycats lalo na diyan sa Pinas!!!
Kaya hindi din lahat sumisikat, madami ding hindi belter na mas sikat pa. Yung pag interpret ng kanta importante, how you convey the message of the song.
I agree, that time na may inilabas na song si Moira, susme, lahat ng nag cover ay kinover din yung pa-paos effect na boses ni Moira. Eh bakit pa kayo nag cover?!
Thanks Tita Lea. I am also someone who's been trying to sing. I am not tone deaf and I can belt somehow but does not sound right when I listen to my own voice. Baka nga I'm singing the wrong songs.

ReplyDeleteHindi naman kasi nya kayang bumirit. Tinis ng boses, parang may konting kulang, bukod pa dun sa hindi madunong sumayaw, not a total performer talaga.
