  1. Let us not forget our history. Know why the former MIA was renamed NAIA. No to revisionism.

    1. Because you don't want to seek the truth. You are contented with what the mainstream media has fed you, especially that we didn't have social media back then to know other facts. It was manipulated and monopolized by one party and it's allies. The victors write the history.

    2. 12:21, True. This is all about their hate and power tripping. Kaloka talaga.

Oh please! You're so gullible if you believe in those! I lived long enough to know the truth! Besides, media back in the day, does not enjoy the kind of freedom they do after 1986. So paano mo ieexplain yung despite that, e more than 2 Million Filipinos were at his funeral? Wala pa sila sa power nun to tell their version of history! And I am sure more have attended kung may twitter at facebook na nung time na yun!

    4. 155 yah victors write history like what dds and friends are doing now. Dig your own truth as much as you want, nut kust like you said we didn't have social media back then; So kung time ng Martial law maipagmalaki mo kaya yang Social Media na sinasabi

    5. Ika nga "for history is written by the victors and framed according to the prejudices and bias existing on their side.”

Let the name of the airport revert back to MIA, without bias.

Something that represents our nation.

    7. but like, we're currently facing a deadly pandemic and this is their priority? pft.

    8. Bayanihan Act was their priority, 12:49. Now that the Congress has accomplished that, they're moving to other bills like this.

Kasi, sigurado may kokontra at hindi happy pag hindi ka-partido o hindi kakulay, he he he.

  11. BAKIT BA KASI TUWING MAGPAPALIT NG ADMINISTRASYON, GUSTO RING MAGPAPALIT-PALIT NG MGA LABELS?

  13. A man gave his life to save us from a dictator's regime. What has baby Duterte have to do with the airport? This is not high school. There are millions of Filipinos who are in danger of getting sick, loose their jobs, go hungry . Shouldn't this be a priority ?

Wow braincells

  16. Why is there a need to name a building, a highway, a school, a basketball court to a politician?

    1. At Macapagal Airport, Rodriguez Municipality, Fernan Bridge, Quezon City, Roxas City, Romualdez Street, Osmena Boulevard, Quezon Avenue, Quirino Province, Quezon Province and hundreds of streets

    2. FYI Aspiras-Palispis Highway na ang official name ngayon or National Route 208.

  18. It’s too obvious. This is all about hate, power and politics of the people in current government. The vast majority of prominent airports in the world are named after their notable citizens. There is no need to rename our national airport at all. The hate and power tripping are too obvious. Enough with the abuse of power and insanity.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hay naku, they can’t even deal with the pandemic. Niloloko naman tayo sa name change that is not needed.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Sus nahiya pa kayo, Duterte international airport. Yan talaga gusto nyo ipalit.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Airports should not be named after politicians. PERIOD!

    1. Nahiya naman ang JFK airport at Ohare

  22. Just because there is a pandemic, doesnt mean that lawmakers should stop doing their jobs. Ang dami dami nilang tinatrabahong batas, and it’s quite obvious that media only report those that elicit controversies. Such as this.

And truth be told, would the rhetorics change if this had been suggested without covid?

      Delete
    2. pandemic or not, hindi importanteng mapalitan ang pangalan ng NAIA. Daming nagugutom sa Pilipinas, namamatay kse di afford magpaospital, nar-rape, nawalan ng trabaho, na-scam etc.. unahin talagang palitan ang pangalan ng NAIA before any pressing issues?

      Delete

      Delete
    5. 8:08 so youre happy n ITONG PAGPAPALIT NG PANGALAN ANG UUNAHIN NILA KESA S MAHAHALAGANG BAGAY?? Alam mo bang kung gaano kalaking gatos and inconvenience ito s lahat (may covid man or wla)?? Gosh, sumasakit ang brain cells ko syo.

      Delete
    6. 12:50, 4:02 here and I must admit I had to google what argumentum ad misericordiam means. We don't need to be so technical here, poverty is a reality in the Philippines. Call it appeal to pity if you want, na laging gamit na gamit ang kahirapan but no matter how i look at it, walang matutulong sa ekonomiya at kahirapan ang pagpapalit ng pangalan ng NAIA.

      Delete

  23. The world is suffering from Pandemic but that doesn’t mean we have to stop and be futile for the rest of our lives. We should outlive this virus and not be stagnant. There are other things that must be done, but that doesn’t mean that we have totally ignored this pandemic. What should we do all year long? Even if we don’t have this pandemic going on, they will still contradict what this Government wants to change.

    1. 8:08, Lol, there is no reason at all to change the name to begin with. It’s all about hate, politics, viciousness and power tripping from those in power. Ninoy was murdered at that airport and died to reclaim democracy back for this country. The name is well-deserved. Whats your pathetic excuse?

      Delete
    2. Ano ba usefulness ng pagpapalit ng airport name and you called it as a "thing that must be done"? Gasto lang yan. Wala na talaga silang maisip na ibang improvement ano? How about improve nila covid response and activities kasi sa totoo lang wala pa rin akong nakikitang katapusan nito. Sobrang tagal na and still we have not seen the worse.

Susme. Sobra na tong mga tards na to. Panatikong panatiko.

  26. The assassination of Ninoy Aquino whether they like it or not is a major part of our history especially with our rise to democracy after twenty years of dictatorship. It was a major global news. Naming airports and other public places after notable figures is a common international practice. There’s JFK airport for one, New York’s beautiful airport. O Hare at Chicago. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  27. ibalik dapat sa MANILA INT'L AIRPORT, sa true lang mas madaling tandaan at bigkasin because it is a name of a place.

Ayusin nyo pagkain nila at gamot
