Nagpost ako ng comment dun sa post about sa Cara Y Cruz dito sa Fashion Pulis na sana gumawa sila ng BL. Ngayon biglang magkakaruon na ng BL si Tony Labrusca. Nakakaloka diba.
Let's face it, kaya lang naman gusto ng iba ang BL series because of the love scenes na napapanuod nila eh. So ipag-pray nyo na madaming love or sex scenes si Tony Labrusca dito para ma-satisfy ang cravings nyo.
Sana lang they stay true to BL haha. For those not familiar with BL, it means boys love so yes man to man or boy to boy. But the themes do not stray far from Shoujo so most BLs are basically shoujo with 2 male leads instead of a girl and boy. Some BLs break from the mold and really take a more authentic character and relationship development as boys or men falling for another of the same gender. The curious thing about BLs although it appeals to gays - its audience is predominantly FEMALE. Madami din sya sub genres like yaoi which focuses on ehem erotic encounters or shounen ai or the pabebe BL sub genre. Like other genres, BL adheres to certain formulas (for better or for worse) so let's see if this will really be a BL story or a series about gay men/boys.
Thanks for the BL tutorial :) I love how you explained and differentiated them. I am really amazed that the audience are females and that they are actual shippers of male relationships. Because, really, in the end, LOVE IS LOVE.

Deletesana mainstream film nalang o kaya tv series talaga. Nakalagay kasi digital series baka sa youtube lang din ipalabas yan parang gameboys.
