  4. This is not how protests should be done.
The anger has been channeled wrongly by doing such barbaric and violent acts. Innocent people are being dragged into this mess.

    1. Black community and minorities have been protesting for decades now pero walang nangyayri. Paulit ulit lang pagpatay sa kanila. The past four years mas lumala, imagine being at home relaxing or sleeping cops would barge in and shoot you? tapos sasabihin it's just a mistak. Kapernick was protesting peacefully pero ano nangyari? He gets mocking from white supremacists.

      Delete
    2. 2:25, so looting and rioting are justified? A criminal act (manslaughter of Floyd) cannot be corrected by another criminal act (looting, arson, assault). A lot of the businesses affected by the looters and arsonists are owned by minorities.

      Delete

    5. 2:25AM, I hate the cop who killed Georeg Floyd, dapat talaga syang maparusahan, and the others who killed innocent people, kahit ano pang race yan. Yang comment mo is racist itself!

      Delete
    6. 2:25 are you from the US?

      Delete
Labo mo! Obvious naman na mga magnanakaw na yan!

      Delete
    8. 2:25 i would be cautious with what you are saying and stick to facts. i have not heard of an incident here that you are at home relaxing or sleeping and cops would just come to your home and shoot you???
what happen to george floyd is wrong in all aspect! and he deserves justice and the police who is responsible for this horrendous act should be charged and incarcerated.
but for you to generally say that police are blatantly using force to enter a home is baseless, untrue and promoting fear and chaos to an already restless community.

      Delete
    9. I think 2:25 was referring to some tv shows, of that incident while at home relaxing/sleeping cops would just barged in to your home and shots you. 2:25, you think that’s how cops been doing here in the States??!!🤦‍♀️

      Delete
    10. I believe 2:25 is referring to the case of a Kentucky EMT first responder who was at home, sleeping when a police force barged in on a supposed drug raid and shot her. Her name is Breonna Taylor. She was also referenced in light of this new evidence of police brutality.

    1. Capitalism is complicit to poverty. I support what these people are doing, sana lang wag patulan ang small businesses. Big brands will survive. As for potential affected employees, ni hindi sila tinulungan during COVID, they got fired without medical insurance access the time they needed it most. Naiintindihan ko ang galit ng mga tao.

It's the only way to be heard they have been protesting peacefully before pero wala naman nangyayari mas lumala pa racism, I myself experienced racism and I wouldn't want to wish it to someone.

    1. I'm so sorry to hear that you've also experienced racism pero sana naman, wag nating i-justify ang kamaliang ito. And please, don't be blind, anong magagawa nito para kay George Floyd or police brutality against minorities?

      Delete
    2. The looters were not even protestors. They were from other cities taking advantages of the circumstances. I have been the US for 23 years, and I felt discriminated too--sadly by other Filipinos who were either born or raised in the US.

    3. 2:28 Kahit pagbali-baliktarin mo baks, looting is wrong and is a crime. You don't solve anything by doing yet another crime. These people looting are just using George Lloyd and disrespecting him and what he went through.

It is NOT the only way. So sa tingin mo the people who are supporting the peaceful riots would think this is ok? NO.

      Delete
    4. 2:28 “It’s the only way to be heard?” Are you kidding me?! I experienced racism too dito sa Amerika, pero never, ever ko naisip to hurt nor damage other people’s properties. I understand the anger about the death of George Floyd & other more victims, pero hindi ko maintindihan bakit instead na mag protesta sila, nagnanakaw, naninira, sinusunog nila ang mga buildings na wala nmn kinalaman sa mga panguyari. To the extent, pati mga medical practitioners, firefighters, mga first responders, sinasaktan nila. Mga taong walang kinalaman? This is not a protest, this is a crime!

      Delete
    5. Oh please. These lowlives just want branded bags they cannot afford. Plain thieves riding on an issue so they can take what they covet.

      Delete
    6. Do you know that George Floyd and the officer knew each other for years? So would it be possible that there’s otheR reason for his killing other than race? Do you also know that the officer is married to an Asian and one of the other cops is his bro in law? Do you know that the Medical examiner determined that the cause of his death is not traumatic asphyxia? Do you know that there are violent protesters mixed with peaceful protesters ? Violent ones well organized funded by a nefarious faction? Do you know that one of the people violently protesting has been identified as a cop.

      Delete
    7. So the only way is manira ng gamit at magnakaw?? So paano? Ganoon ba gusto nila movement?

Sobrang democracy, iba din talaga. Hindi lang yan, daming nagpopost na naglalabas ng mga statistics that too many people died in road accidents, drug overdose, suicide etc. Mas konti lang daw death rate ng Covid-19, so why do they need to close establishments. Meron pa ibang konting batas lang na easy to comply naman sa atin but for them, takin away the freedom na daw yun. 1. Trumptard alert. Trump has been emboldened white supremacists in the US so why wouldn't he be involved? If he made a statement right away about arresting the cop who was involved in Floyd's death then this would have been avoided. My husband is a lawyer here in the US and the punishment for the same crimes are harsher for people of color. This is a fact. Just 3 months ago, he sat in a case where the city of Chicago paid millions of dollars in settlement for a black person incarcerated when there was no sufficient proof. The pro Trump people here are laughable.

The other 3 are not even charged nor arrested when theyre clearly accessories to the crime esp the other 2 who pinned GF's back and lower limbs to the ground.

    1. Get your facts straight.

Hindi armed or reaching for a deadly weapon si George para patayin kaya huwag kang racist dyan.

    3. 2:30 the population of white people is not directly proportional to black people. Black people are minorities so if you do fraction and math, there is greater percentage of black injustices than white

  48. There are people who do a peaceful protest and fight for a fair and just treatment for all races. Unfortunately, there are does who take advantage of the situation, they provoke and cause chaos for their own personal interest, tulad ng pagnanakaw sa mga stores.

  52. People demonstrating for black civil rights is fighting for all civil rights. This is not a black only movement, this is a step forward for all of us. Police reform begins social reform, political reform, and so on. Racism is upheld systemically, undoing systemic forms of racism helps us to eliminate racism in it's entirety, although I acknowledge we will never be an entirely unracist society in my lifetime.

  53. This is the largest civil rights movement of our era. At this moment, you are choosing to stand on a side of history. It's our time to unite together against systems of oppression and fight for equality. This is not about us vs. them, this is a call for all of us to support our brothers and sisters who have been continually vilified for too long. Whether you're white, Latinx, Asian/Pacific Islander, or any other background, it starts with us. We are not only fighting for George Floyd, we are fighting for Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Ahmaud Arbery, Trayvon Martin, and the many other black men and women senselessly killed in the United States. This is not a 'police only' problem; this is a reflection of our country's foundations. This is not a 'black only' problem, this affects all of our lives.

Until radical changes occur, the only way we can respond is through radical action. If you are afraid of your belongings being hurt, understand that same pain and fear is multiplied for BIPOC (Black/Indigenous/People of Color) Americans DAILY. This was the only response, nothing else created change. Until BLACKLIVESMATTER, you cannot say all lives matter. Our systems have demonstrated this time and time again.

If you are angry, ask yourself why. Are you tired of seeing police brutality and racist systems being upheld, or are you being inconvenienced?
