    6. Just because mas tanggap na ng lipunan ang mga bakla does not give them the right to intrude the rights of REAL WOMEN. You can have all the hormones, and all the surgeries, pero pakatotoo lang: you can fake it but you'll never make it.

    8. US citizen akong bakla. Ipinanganak kang lalake, so wala kang magagawa. Wag magpaka-feeling entitled. Bow!

    10. Tama si Mother Ricky on all points.
As a matter of fact: in life, we all wish to be accepted unconditionally. However, life is not easy like that. We have to learn the order of things, of God’s creation. There is no mistake in God’s design, Kung gusto mo palitan ang kasarian mo at magpa opera ka, like what Mother Ricky said, yung utak ay hindi mo pwede mapalitan. On a deeper scientific level, yung DNA ay hindi pwedeng ma alter. What quality of life will you have with such drastic change? Kung ano ang sagot mo sa mga tanong na yan, you get to live that life, panindigan mo but do not expect universal understanding, dahil meron at meron hindi makakaintindi.

    11. People need to listen to Ricky Reyes regarding this matter because he is exactly correct. He is in fact the best role model in this case. Oo gay siya pero look at what he has done with his life. He carried on as a human being and is not defined by his gender. A shrewd and sharp businessman, who employs people to help the nation’s economy and those who need to earn an income. He teaches his employees to become better cosmetologists/beauty-care specialists. He helps pediatric cancer patients and their families and is involved in other charitable endeavors. Why? Because he has always made himself a productive person in society. He doesn’t settle for the less things in life.

Like yung same sex marriage. Kaya yung “battle cry” for equality in EVERYTHING it also creates a narrative that LGBTQ+ are oppressed here in our country. Sure, I don’t have the numbers, but pareho ba talaga tayo ng hinaing sa mga Amerikano or Europeans?

      Delete

      Delete

So, scientifically, hindi sila magiging babae. 30. ang d ko maintindihan, bat ang mga comments ng against sogie bill laging below the belt sa lgbtq? im not pertaining to mama ogie or madam ricky kasi they expressed their points validly, in a good way kunmbaga.. im pretaining to the commenters, not specifically here at fp but sa socmed in general, or yung mga nagrerepost, na laging may pangungutya, pang lalait, pang lelecture, at pagtatawanan...minsan meron pang "buti nga sayo supalpal kayong mga bakla"...why tho? if we're confident that the sogie bill won't be passed, bat kelangan ng ganun? parang nawala bigla yung love and acceptance, at naging judgemental na lahat. i mean there are still people who are against sogie bill that I know of, pero na maintain nila yung love pa ren sa kapwa tao. bat yung iba parang galit na galit at tuwang tuwa sa mga nangyayari? parang naglabasan ang mga self righteous. surely, everyone of us have had an encounter with an lgbtq before, maybe some are our friends or previous teachers, coworkers or just acquaintances, so sana kahit magkarun ng discussion about sogie, wag manaig ang hate...pero what am I talking about? we don't live in a perfect world after all...nakaka sad lng

  34. Nakakababa naman yung 'matutong lumugar.' While the whole community fights for equality for a very long time, di talaga maiwasan na may mga sinaunang miyembro na tatalak without even thinking kung makakaapekto ba siya sa ipinaglaban ng mga nauna at mga nasa kasalukuyan.

Kahit ngayon the community faces discrimination and just because hindi nakikita at nararanasan ng iba it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. What pisses me off is a lot of people including those who were claiming to be allies of the lgbtqia+ just beacuse of the 'cr issue' of the transwomen, they immediately decided to mock 'everyone' in the community. Can't blame them, they grew up in an environment of inequality and mockery making them numb and forcing them to just live with it.

To all the people who mocks the whole community, you call us 'privileged,' 'papansin,' 'paimportante,' etc., do your research first about the history of the lgbtqia+.

    2. 500 "they grew up in an environment of inequality and mockery." they might have, but instead of creating a life that revolves around this "inequality and mockery" (like you do), they accepted, embraced and loved who they are and who they aren't. By doing so, they've kept their self respect and earned the respect of others. In the end, they're far more succesful than most ordinary heterosexual or gay people.

And fyi it's not about 'just living with it', people like ricky reyes have learned to peacefully coexist and have earned the respect of everyone regardless of gender. Mas may k magsalita si reyes because they were born at a time when being gay was taboo yet they thrived and succeeded- which proves na ang oportunidad dumadating yan ke ano pag gender mo.

Remember makukulong ang nag discriminate sa pagpasok sa cr under your bill so it is not equal.Let us not disguise it as equal rights.

You trans people are trying to FORCE other people to accept your twisted views of EQUALITY. What you're lobbying for is your right for SUPERIORITY NOT equality.

    3. 7.04 Women did not infringe men's rightS just to fight for their right to vote. That's the big difference. GET IT?

  39. I know a lot of gay couples here abroad, and ithey want to get married because, other than the fact that they love each other, they also want have a legal right to what they both own, and be able to make hard decisons about each other's lives. if a couple's been together for, let's say 20 yrs, or their whole lives, and suddenly the other person dies, his partner wont have any legal right to decide how the person will be buried, or if the partner's in the hospital and comatose, the other partner has no right to make any decisions about what to do... no matter how long they've been together... it's still the family's decision. and i think that'll really hurt..so yeah mostly about rights..Something like that. At least that's what I learned from the gay couples I personally know. But it's way different there nmn. Philippines id still very conservative about marriage so I guess it wont ever happen. And strictly Catholic so we cant really force everyone.

Coming from a gay hairdresser who lost a lawsuit case filed by his previous employee for DISCRIMINATION?

Maintindihan ko pa kung galing kay Boy Abunda 'to, pero sa baklang mapanghusga pa nanggaling,it's a no for me.

  46. Winner si Mader. On point. I have gay friends, I love them all. And they know their limitations and rights.

  47. With all the opposition this SOGIE bill is getting, approving the bill will create chaos. Sana pag isipang mabuti. Kahit gaano man tayo ka modernize, intact pa din moral values natin. Yes, moral values that includes believing that there are only 2 genders created by God, Male and female

Also, transwomen are real women. I suggest we all educate ourselves by reading more about what SOGIE is. Lahat ng tao, lahat ng Pilipino may kanya kanyang SOGIE.
