  1. Who is she? Anyway, if she wants to be respected then why is she wearing that kind of outfit in public. Obviously she wanted that. Yung mapansin sya

    1. Exactly. Attention seeker eh

    3. O san na yung mga tagapagtanggol na kesyo it’s a woman’s right to wear anything she wants at walang pake dapat mga tao? Ano na?

      Delete

Nakakaloka. Have some respect.

      Delete
  2. Buti at ganyan lang nakuha mo teh, yung iba nga nakulong o nag community service tapos may multa pa. Kaya bago pumunta sa isang bansa, alamin ang dos and donts.

    1. Why not wear a simple t-shirt? Parang fake boobs siya sa photo?

Nipple tape in public. Super nipis na top.

      Delete
    2. Nipple tape? Reminds me of Tulya lang. Tamad mag bra daw eh.

      Delete
    3. Korek. For sure, may Internet naman sya dapat nag-Google muna sya ng mga do's and dont's sa bansang pupuntahan nya.

    4. 1:50 you have so much have for the kid na hanggang sa issue na hindi siya involved sinasama mo siya

      Delete
    5. 4:14 not 1:50 pero parang sariling comment lang naman niya sinabi niya and I do not feel any hatred. masyado ka naming malisyosa.

  3. Who is she?

Filipina should carry ourselves more carefully especially when abroad. There’s already stereotypes of Filipina women abroad that are sexist but thanks to the professional OFWs who shows we are more than ‘sexy’ but also respected. Old fashion view man, pero it starts on what we wear ANYWHERE. Dress smart.

    ReplyDelete
  4. And people were defending this girl on facebook saying she has all the rights to wear whatever she wants. Kahit sando lang na mukang walang salawal with side boobs showing? Heckkk

Ganern ba? -Dora Lakwatsera

    1. 1:12. Yes, totoo.. maraming nagsusuot ng very short shorts sa sg but NOT with matching barely there sando na may side boob. Gets mo? Yung OVERALL attire ng babae was so wrong. So STOP defending this girl.

OA much.

      Delete

  7. she doesn’t deserve to get bullied over this, pero sakin lang there’s a proper time and place for certain outfits. pwede namang comfortable cotton shirt at soft denim shorts kung talagang naiinitan. also, balancing things could help. kung betchina na mag ganyang sando + nipple tape, opt for soft leggings or lightweight pants. kung betchina yung super short shorts wearing an oversized shirt (keep wearing nipple tapes if you want) would be good.

    1. I agree with you. That’s why it’s only proper to research about a country and especially the weather when one is going to travel. As much as I support dressing as a way of self-expression, the way we dress for a time and place says how much respect we have for others and ourselves. It’s just about the balance of being presentable without losing your own style.

      Delete
    2. true. it's so tacky if youre showing too much skin in public.
Go for that balancing look - pag sexy na ung top, icover na ung legs. or pag short shorts or skirts, mejo conservative na ung top sana.

      Delete
šŸ˜‚ paper thin yung sando tapos hindi mahagilap yung shorts. tapos naka nipple tape pa kaya walang proper support yung chest eh hindi naman maliit bubelya nya to pull it off. The look is so sloppy.

Super iksi ng shorts and low neckline. Naloka nga ako kasi mas liberated sila kesa Pinas. So what's the fuzz?

    ReplyDelete

    1. It doesn’t mean you see other people doing something inappropriate it makes it okay for others to do the same. Plus, Singapore is a highly racially blended country. Everyone has different practices and beliefs or religion. It is better to be respectful of others at all times than be sorry later.

      Delete
    2. I think it’s because she’s sexy.

Let people wear what they want. If papansin sila, eh di wag pansinin.

      Delete
    3. That's a lousy excuse 2:41. You should always be respectful of other people, hindi ung porke gusto mo e pwede na.

      Delete
    4. 1:33 ikaw na ba expert sa SG culture? kesyo marami naman daw nakita sa ilang beses na punta. the fact na nadiaryo pa sia means it's not the norm there.

      Delete
    5. 2:41 "Let people wear what they want" ...Dyan ka nagkakamali. Hindi mo yata nakita suot nya. People won't really mind, ang problema, she caused public nuisance. Besides, she caused disrespect as Singapore has mixture of culture. With a bit of ignorance and wanting so much attention, yan napala nya.

      Delete
    6. 2:41 you’re right, pag ibang asian counterparts natin, hindi kasi bastusin tignan. But this ‘model’, sinabay ang side boob (you see more sa side boob than low neckline lalo na kung walang boobs kahit hanggang bewang yan wala kang makikita) and short shorts. What is she trying to prove anyway? Feel niya bahay niya ang buong singapore? Tapos idedefend pa ng ibang pinoy? The fact that may nabastusan means her attire is offensive so stop defending her by pointing out na may nagsusuot rin ng short shorts.

      Delete
    7. 1:33 Excuse me, taga dito ako. Whats the fuzz ka dyan...Kuha mo?

      Delete
    8. The thing is research well before flying in to other country, to others it may seem that the country is modern but please don’t forget that they are govern by law. Good thing nobody complained to the authority or else she might be arrested. True that some wears short shorts or revealing top BUT they don’t overdo it. It may be skimpy top but not without proper underwear - and just so you know this country is in multi racial and multi culture so we respect each that’s why we live in harmony. We call it courtesy! So please it does not hurt to dress appropriately to where you are going. Research how this law applies - hope she’ll learn something from there.

      Delete
  10. Yes, most times you may wear whatever you want BUT if you are someplace else, like a foreign country, you must be aware of their culture (or the occasion, even the deeply imbibed unwritten rules) and respect that by adjusting appropriately even if others won’t do the same. It’s common courtesy.

    1. People in SG wouldn’t be shocked and this wont reach their news outlets if they dont see anything wrong with it or if they see it as a norm outfit in SG , i guess?

      Delete
    2. Culture and location. Singapore is still a conservative country. Despite its probably acceptable in Orchard, since from what I know its almost adapted to the western culture. But outside of the place, its not acceptable.

      Delete
    3. 1:53, Nope, kino call out nila yun, ng mga Singaporeans. Tsaka karamihan sa kanila, di naman local. Either pinoy, indian, bangla, chinese. FYI.

      Delete
Sinabayan ba nila with half of their boob showing? No right? So there. Gets mo na? It’s always about who’s wearing it, how they are carrying themselves. singaporeans are generally not bastusin tignan. Not so for Filipinos (this is not an insult but a fact) so ayun, kaya nakaka offend. Again, gets mo na?

      Delete
  15. Form of Racism.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Well, kapag ba ikaw nakakita ng ganyan dito na filipina hindi mo mamata matahin or hindi ka ba mapapatingin manlang?

      Delete
    2. Racism kaya talaga? Muka s’yang cartoon character / anime so medyo racially ambiguous naman s’ya. She could pass as anyone from anywhere in East Asia. I don’t think whoever posted thought na “ay Pilipino ‘yan call out ko nga”.

      Delete
    3. Sus. Wag kayo puro justification. Ang mali, mali.

      Delete
    4. 1:55 oh please, not that racism card. Wala. Shorts, most likely but sando showing side boobs?

      Delete
    5. Hinuli ba?? Naman!

  16. Actually if you'd think really hard about it. You can wear any thing you like, kahit bra at panty. It's with the society that you grew up in molds your perception of what is good and right or bad. Now with my 2nd sentence, lagi mo iisipin...oo kahit ano pwede mo suotin pero sa lugar ba kung saan ka nagsuot e accepted ng society or legal? Based from the reaction of sg newspapers it's not. She should've been aware the repercussions Kung mag babalak kang gumawa ng kakaiba sa isang lugar na hindi ito tanggap, tanggapin mo yung magiging epekto nito

  17. Travel is a luxury. Not just because we spend money on it but it gives you something that money can’t buy. Like experiencing cultures and knowing how to navigate through the dos and don’ts of the country you are at. Kaya nga minsan alam na alam ng locals sino mga turista because of the way they act or dress. And it’s actually in our country that I experience people allowing foreigners to get away with a lot of stuff. An establishment wouldn’t let us enter because one of us happened to be wearing footwear showing toes because of a wound, tapos nung may ibang lahi naka rubber slippers and shorts welcome na welcome. While I experienced in Japan they literally won’t let anyone enter the onsen basta may tattoo-whether local or foreign. To keep the harmony let’s just abide by the tone set, except when it’s soooo unfair.

    ReplyDelete

    2. 2:57 sinusuot ba niya yan sa pilipinas in the first place (in the city, not in the beach). Malamang hindi. So why do it in another country? Feeling high and mighty. As tourists, we should know our boundaries.

  21. Sus. With that outfit obviously you want attention. Da hu nga ba to? Lol
