      Delete
    4. It stands daw for 11 asean countries pero hindi din proportionate to the countries' sizes yung rings, and what do the colors represent? Red for the communists? Haha.

    1. Te girl madami po nagpost online ng logo, at madaming willing na gumawa for free. Pero wapakels ang committee.

      Delete
    2. Maraming magandang alternative suggestions nung unang lumabas yan after nung presentation ni Cayetano. Aesthetically and symbolically better pa ha, pero as usual yung palpak na design pa rin yung pinili.

      Delete

I get that they're trying to make it symbolic like the Olympic rings shaped into the Phil map pero yung relative sizes and colors ng rings hindi maipaliwanag. Good logo design shouldn't need a convoluted explanation. It should evoke a universally positive feeling unang kita pa lang, but this one is honestly ridiculous.

      Delete

      Delete
  37. Kinopya ang Olympic circles at ginawang pinas map. Kalokohan.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Give some respect to the branding and graphic design staff who handled this project. Creating logos take many hours of refinement, and even more if it requires multiple stages of approval. It really shows how many netizens are unrefined and unintelligent when critiquing creative work. I’m sure there was a reasoning behind the minimalistic design. To me the logo looks nice, iconic, and remarakable. Give credit where it’s due.
