    2. I’m all for not making a big deal out of a nonissue so that’s not why I’m replying. But tey, how is KC’s post a figure of speech?????!! Kaloka ka!

  2. Remember that KC was schooled at IS. Half sister is just a common word in the western world. Sa Tagalog kapatid sa ama or sa ina and ano ang weird or off dun.

    1. Half sister stilll has a more negative connotation than “little sister”, even in the English speaking world.

      Delete
    2. Consider changing your mindset the word need not be negative

      Delete
    3. Yes 2:12 am in WESTERN countries it sounds normal to them. Though there is really nothing wrong saying "half sisters/half brothers", but in our country where we value family relationships even if they are partially blood related to us, we usually called our half sisters/brothers as simply sisters/brothers unless we were specifically asked about the relationship thats why the commenter said it seems off to her. And we all know that KC doesnt have fully blood related sisters.

  3. Did she edit the comment? What's wrong with saying that e totoo naman?

    1. yes she edited her caption para sa mga epal na commenters

    2. from half sister to little sister

    3. Mas nakakalito pa yung little sister tuloy, sa dami ba naman, eh literal on both sides sya yung panganay *although we know it's frankie lol*

      Delete
    4. We shouldn't even give in to this, hindi na dapat nya inedit. Kaya nawiwili mga demanding eh.

      Delete
  4. because it how you call them, "half-sister" or "half-brother"
since kelan pa ba naging weird and off yan?
    EMEGED😩😩😩

It’s either she’s your sister or not. Not half a sister. Does that make you a half human too? Tsk.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Huh? Paano napasok yung “half-human”? I don’t get your logic. She’s free to call whatever as long as hindi nao-offend yung other party.

      Delete
    2. Totoo namang half sister niya? At walang masama dun. Kitid naman utak.

      Delete
    3. Anon 2:14AM, half-sister is grammatically correct since they have one parent in common. Half-human? That is a silly comparison! I'm being kind by using the word "silly"

      Delete
    4. The difference is this: there is really such a thing as half sister, no such thing as half human. She’s just stating a fact.

      Delete
    5. Paano yung parent ng “half-sister” mo.. step dad or step mom? Inappropriate din? It’s either dad/mom or not sa logic mo? Hmm.

      Delete
    6. Teh?! May pa half human ka pa dyan? Enebe!

      Delete
KC, on the other hand, has shown nothing but love to ALL her siblings.

    ReplyDelete
  7. i have 2 half brothers, i have no problem calling them or being called as half sibling. sa totoo naman half siblings lang kami?

    ReplyDelete

    1. It shows that you don’t care for them.

      Delete
    2. Grabe si 2:55. Close kayo ni 2:23?Nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade. Doesn't make you love them any less. Mamaru ng mga to.

      Delete
    3. 2:55 asan logic????

      Delete
    4. 2.55 you must be someone who puts more importance on words than actions.

      Delete
    5. Ang oa ni 2:55. Lol

      Delete
    6. 2:55 don't care for them agad?? Bakit si KC she calls them half but you can see how mabait she is as a sister. Treats her sibs even better than some treat full-siblings! Maraming ganyan.

      Delete
    7. 2:55, and who are you to judge 2:23 dahil lang sa term na ginamit nya?

      Delete
    8. 2:55 your comment shows how shallow you are. Masyado kang attached sa ‘names’. Mag 2019 na, reflect and get a life. It’s not too late.

      Delete

      Delete
    10. maybe 2:55 is someone's half sibling ang she cant accept that fact

      Delete
    11. 2:55
judgmental mo. sa caption na ganyan, na judge mo na agad. i will judge you too. sa ugali mong yan, wala kang kaibigan.

    12. 6:48 hahaha! kaya sya butthurt

  8. Okay na yun kesa naman my sista from another mother Lol

    ReplyDelete
  9. It’s just weird when people addressed their biological siblings as “half-“ while they call their friends “sister”

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Aminin naman kasi natin- most of us mas malapit pa sa mga barkada natin kesa sa kapatid. Hence, we call them sister/brother from another mother.

      Delete
    2. And who are we to force them on how they should address their siblings that may have a different father/mother.

      Delete
    3. Very true. Obviously she doesn’t think that she is not worth to be called sister but only half-sister.

      Delete
    4. Kasi, the Filipinos are very clannish, culturally. Kaya pag sinabi ng half sister or half brother, sounds weird even though it’s the right way to say it. Para kasing may detachments pag inemphasize mo pa iyong half word. Pag May nagtanong lang, then you explain they’re you’re half siblings. Although in her case, people already know that.

      Delete
  10. Ay sus mga pakialamerang tsismosang pilipino. Their sibling relationship is not defined by the word "half".

    ReplyDelete
  11. Such sad lives these people have.

If you follow her vocal sya on how she loves her half siblings.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Ang dami lang kasing judgmental

      Delete
  13. Hahahahaha...well it’s very telling.....it means that it’s not the same as full sister or sibling. Basically, it’s a negative connotation.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. it will never be the same since she doesn't have a "full sibling"

      Delete
    2. Tsk tsk tsk asan kaya utak mo?

      Delete
    3. paano naging negative connotation yun? in other countries it’s very common to have half siblings so you need to be specific when intoducing your siblings to others

      Delete
    4. Maybe cos they’re not that close...they really don’t spend 24/7 together even from the very beginning

      Delete
    5. it shows how shallow most filipinos are. hay 2019 na.

      Delete
    6. Very true. She is not close enough to be called sister, just a hyphenated half-sister. The poor thing.

      Delete
  14. Geez, what's wrong with half siblings? I have so many cousins who are half siblings and none gets offended being introduced or described as one. We even have step cousins, wahahaa!

Seriously, some people have become uber sensitive that anything can offend! Toughen up, you can't be a snowflake at all times!

  16. Ang sensitive tlga ng mga tao. Ano ba?????? Kahit ano nalang bibigyan ng meaning. Ang daming time and ang daming pakialam. Half sister nmn tlga technically and she meant that with no malice.

So what kung tawaging half sister kang nya, eh totoo nman?

For KC, she didn't even think that way, kaya keber sa kanya until may mga perfect sa etiquette na maninita. LOLS

    ReplyDelete
  22. Obviously they are not close, so she is imphasizing the “half” lang.

    ReplyDelete
  23. nothing wrong with half sister. kasi totoo eh
