    1. True baks! Everyday feels like recitation day. Tapos pag nagsalita walang mangangahas na kumontra kasi makakatikim ka ng katarayan for the day.

    4. I met Cherie Gil sa recent concert ni Lea Salonga. She’s very nice and not at all mataray.

      Delete
  2. Si cherie parang may pagka feeling. Masyado syang pasenior ako lagi. Kung may reklamo sya sana derechahin nya yung bagets/artista diba. Hindi yung puro shade keme na ganyan.

    ReplyDelete

    1. 12:20 hindi namab shade yun eh its just how it is

      Delete
    2. I'm sure she lets her co-stars know if they did something she felt is not right. I believe it's the same way with Ms. Dina Bonnevie. Mga young actors these days kelangan turuan ettiquete. Ms. Cherie wrote this a letter for EVERYONE.

      Delete
    3. Cherish Gil really hit the nail. TaMA yun mga sinulat niya. We should not just call anybody Tita or Tito , also Mommy or Daddy, it is very rude.

      Delete
    4. Dina and Cherrie are friends. Ironic no?

      Delete
    5. 12:28 For everyone talaga?

      Delete
    6. @ 4:12 "Dina and Cherrie are friends. Ironic no?" #shakingmyhead

      Delete
    7. Hahaha natawa ako sa "ironic" ni 4:12

      Delete
    8. mas appropriate or OK ba if they youngesters refer to them using their first names instead kesa na tita or tito?

      Delete
    9. just curious whether accepted na sa Pinoy culture na first name basis when addressing someone older.

      Delete
    10. 12:12 Miss Cheri would do...

      Delete
  3. try nyo yung I will slap you...tignan natin kung hindi magdemanda.

    ReplyDelete

      Delete
    2. basta walang physical violence, pagsabihan is ok. 1:37 palo palo ng tsinelas pag may pasaway ganern?

      Delete
    3. Pag sa office setting mo yan ginawa, baka mawalan ka work!

      Delete
    4. Lea and Cherrie are products of theater, ganyan ang training sa theater ng mga ibang direktor, minsan nga babatuhin ka ng kung anong mahawakan nila when you do not deliver your lines properly, pero at this day and age hindi na yan acceptable.

      Delete
    5. 1:37 kung baguhan kang artista at nakasabay mo si Ms Cherrie sa isang scene, do you think uubra ang pagkaatitude mo?

      Delete
    6. kung nagkamali ka, buhusan ka na lang ng tubig ni Cherie Gil at sabihan ng "You're nothing but a second rate, trying hard, copycat,"

      Delete

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hindi talaga siya sikat dahil mas actor siya more than a celebrity.

Movie world is not all about popularity.

      Delete
    2. But she is a prima donna! Tignan mo yung yung kasabayan niya. Tanda na pabebe pa din.

      Delete
    3. 12:27 seryoso ka ka siya sikat? You're nothing, but a second rate, trying hard, copy cat!

      Delete
    4. sabay saboy ng tubig sa mukha 3:09

      Delete
  7. I just read this in her husky, dripping-with-honey, cultured voice.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ay ako din. Ahahaha.

      Delete
    2. I can hear her voice in my head while reading this, husky voice pa.

      Delete
  8. Grabe naman yung sa tita. Ano tawag ba dapat, ate? Madam? Maam?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Tits nalang daw, shortcut for tita. Hahaha

      Delete
    2. Pwedeng Ms. Cherie, diba? Isip isip din teh, wag mayabang sumagot

      Delete

      Delete
    6. 12:40 ikaw ang mayabang. Nagtatanong nga kung ano dapat. Close kayo?

      Delete
    7. Just call her Cherie.

      Delete
    8. Dear if you are lacking courtesy and manners, don't flaunt it here.

      Delete
    9. Hindi yata pwede sa culture natin ang first name basis hindi katulad sa ibang bansa unless knighted by the queen so may Sir or Dame or yung may doctor or engineer by profession etc

      Delete
Miss na lang or name ko lang. Wag ate. Haha!

      Delete

      Delete
    12. If you meet a person for the first time, address them as Ma’am or Sir. Wait for them to tell you how they want to be addressed. I think this is the polite way, para hindi maisip na feeling close.

      Delete
  9. OA ng first two rules niya, the rest totoo naman at kailangan tandaan

    ReplyDelete
Hahaha
Ok lang naman if she has certain rules pero parang masyado naman ata pa entitled c Madam. Nung kabataan ba nya ginawa nya dn LAHAT ng pinagsusulat nya?? And c Andie ba naturuan nya dn ng so called etiquette nya?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

      Delete
    2. Oops!! Sorry wrong spelling pala ako.. **Cherie at **Andi pala dapat..

      Delete

      Delete
    4. Nag eexpect siguro tong si Madam Cherie ng treatment as if it was her heyday. I mean malamang ginagalang naman siya ng mga baguhang artista and kulang lang sila sa guidance pero kung makapagdemand siya dito reads very entitled.

      Delete
  11. Ay sus...did she ever win an international award giving body like cannes?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. As you grow older you tend to be bolder and don’t care at all at other people’s feelings.

      Delete
    2. Ang sarap naman pala maging older.

      Delete
  12. Yung never call her tita and never kiss me parang OA naman ata yun. Kung about professionalism sana sa work ang pinost nya mas ok pa pero yang sense of entitlement nasobrahan

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. dapat mag bless daw

      Delete

      Delete
    3. Shake hands and call them Ma’am or Sir.

      Delete
Hahaha

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. if that's me kung may sumampal sa akin, suntukin ko din. Syempre nagulat ka bakit may biglang sumampal sayo.

      Delete

      Delete
  14. To be fair tingin ko parang saktong rules of politeness and propriety naman yan. Call them maam or kung ano name nila or Ms ganyan. Wag bumeso sa first time, handshake lang, kasi professional dapat at magkatrabaho kayo. Yung pagtingin sa phone habang nagwwork, I think very bastos naman yun kung nagtatrabaho kayo. Seryosohin ba naman yung hirit na slap. Syempre gusto lang nya sabihing nakakapika yun. Medyo ma-rules of seniority yung actors sa profession nila, though I think a better way to put it is “never let anyone wait for you for work, period”. Too many people are notoriously late and it’s reflective of your disregard sa oras ng iba.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. E di 'I PROMISE I will slap you' hindi ba seryoso ang salitang promise?

      Delete
    2. 12:52 is exactly correct. Very well explained.

      Delete

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hindi normal yan. Anukaba? Matutong gumalang ng tama. Maging maayos sa mga katrabaho. Always be professional.

      Delete
    2. Be respectful and professional lang naman. Anong mahirap dun? 12:52

      Delete
  16. Ask them how they would like to be addressed. Otherwise, Ms or Mr then their first name should suffice.

    ReplyDelete
Sa tutuosin no big deal. Ang big deal is yung coming to work unprepared, late and pa diva.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies

    ReplyDelete
  20. she preaches "throw your effin ego" but her sentiments are all about her ego. HYPROCRITES BE LIKE.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 2:37 very true!! Same sentiment.

      Delete
    2. gawa kang twitter besh, burn them.

      Delete
  21. It is so alarming to read how some people respond to this. She just means keep your manners.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yabang kasi ng pagkakasabi 6:09 Parang ang entitled.

      Delete

    ReplyDelete
  23. Lea is quite righteous.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. On point! Same with Cherie Gil, very entitled! Dina Bonnevie says it better and with class.

      Delete
    2. I agree with both of you. My point sya pero it could have been said better. She should have spoken like a senior with less ego and entitlement. As for Lea, daming inarte. I find her hypocrite.

      Delete
  24. My point naman especially sa late at di prepared. Kaso mayayabang din kasi itong dalawang ito. Alta altahan din e meron pang i will slap you?

Yung sa tita, ganyan sa kulturang pinoy as a sign of respect.

I didn't like how she said it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Me too. Points 2 3 and 4 i agree with. But the first one? Who do you think you are? Say it nicely as a gentle reminder. ‘Please do nit kiss me or call me tita if i do not know you. Call me Mam, Miss or just Cherie.’ Let them know how you want it. Huwag yung who the HELL you are.

    ReplyDelete
  27. She is THE Cherie Gil and she has been in the industry since forever so yes, she is entitled. If she slaps you, you probably deserve it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 8:22 - I couldnt agree more! =)

      Delete
    2. 8:22. The Cherie Gil with her ego and self entitlement.

      Delete
    3. 8:22am, Not impressed. Kung maka "who the hell are you," UGH nevermind.

      Delete
  28. I never make beso during first meeting, pag close na kami pwede na especially babae, sa lalake shake hand on first meeting is ok, and address them by their first name unless matanda sila then call them Mr. or Ms, not sir or mam, well ako lang to. hehe

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ako din! Miss or Mister dapat, not Madam/Mam lol, yan na yata ang makabago ngayon, madam is so 1800's

      Delete
  29. I like Cherie Gil's post.
    Number2 wag kang pabida masyado

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. While I also agree with her points... Kaso ang yabang, THE Cherie Gil daw kasi sya.

      Delete
    2. Sa taas na uri niya i doubt may magfefeeling close.

      Delete
  30. Yuck, super OA. Akala mo Kung sino sila.

    ReplyDelete
