  1. There is always a time for everything. Maling mali iimpose yun!

    1. I totally agree with you. That is their personal truth and it’s nobody’s business.

  2. Homosexuals are the loveliest people on earth...
My homeroom teacher is gay and we learned and laughed alot...
My aunt is an old school lesbian butch, but she was a loving mother to me...
My tropa is a flaming gayman (insert Tsokoleit here) but he was the most courageous person I know who never left friends behind.

so what's the fuss about being gay?

    2. there's no fuss on being gay itself. ang fuss ay doon sa mga pilit na inilaladlad ang iba gayung hindi pa nga handa ang taong inilaladlad nila.

    3. Awwwwe... I love this comment, too.

    4. The fuss is that up until now, the Catholic Church only recognizes 2 sexes. We were brought up believing that, and it has brought stigma to anyone who did not belong to the 2 sexes. Until the Catholic Church recognizes and embraces the third sex, and our laws include them and recognize their basic rights, they will always be looked upon as "non-normal" by the rest. These things have to start from the leaders (Church and government), and the rest will follow. Frankly, I don't understand why basic rights like marriage should not be given to them, when some religions even allow multi-marriages.

  3. Exactly. People still have the gall to throw around the word “gay” as if it’s an insult. If you’re not and you’re called one just say you’re not but there’s nothing wrong if ever you were. No need to be too dramatic about it. That’s bordering homophobia.

    1. Why not address the bullies instead since they're the ones who make being "gay" such a social stigma. If people were kind then gay people wouldn't have had a hard time accepting who they are.

    2. I agree with you. I agree with Daryl as well.

  5. Hi daryl.

Sawsaw pa more atleast ngayon napag uusapan ka.

  9. Tama. Being gay doesnt make u less of a person. Pero, Daryl, easy for you to say that when you don't experience the burden and understand the struggles of coming out. Coming out and being true to your self is a process. You cant blame people for hiding in their own closet. As long as bigoted and judgemental ang society na ginagalawan natin, wag nating pilitin ang iba na mag come out. Kanya-kanyang time yan until mahanap nila ang strength to come out and embrace who they are. Respetuhin nlg natin sila as a person.

    1. 12:48 true. Di ko talaga gets bakit binibigyan burden ang mga taong nagtatago sa closet na mag out. wala namang kabawasan sa pagkatao nila kung anu man orientation nila. so what gives bakit kelangan talaga ipilit mag out?

  13. Kung may closet gay man, its none of your business. Di nila kailangan madala sa pressure na mag out. Lol. Pakialamero. Lels.

  15. And nobody has the right to bully someone for being gay or out them. It's also your right to fight back against bullies.

    ReplyDelete
  16. It's so easy to say na "magpakatotoo" because the truth will set you free, lalo coming from a straight person's POV.. The thing is, the right moment will come kapag ready na ang isang tao to come out, hindi iyon dinidikta ng kung sinoman.. Maybe they aren't ready yet, or maybe these closeted gays are more comfortable that way.. Harsh ang society so malakas pa rin ang fear within to admit to others especially to themselves for some.. Siguro mas feel nila na safe sila "in the hiding" kesa matrauma sila sa pagpapakatotoo and having the strenght to come out then mabully and madepress afterwards or worst maging cause pa ng suicidal tendencies.. It happens you know.. In the end, it will always be the person's choice with regards to his or her life.. Siguro si daryl naaasiwa to see closeted gays kaya mas prefer nya na magpakatotoo na lang.. Again, hindi ganoong kadali yun, lalo iba iba tayo ng background, upbringing, culture and tolerance within the family and friends and sa workforce.. Sa mga strong people kayang kaya nila yan as time goes by, kaso hindi lahat strong.. Time will come for them to come out, or it won't, eitherway, let them live their life the way they want to..

Lol

    ReplyDelete
  18. We have no right to out anyone and we are entitled to keep our own secrets.

    ReplyDelete
  19. May tama naman sya, although I don't like the way he stated it. In this day and age, it's accepted to be gay. Every adult gays I know, friends, coworkers and relatives have come out. Their careers are not very affected. Singers' careers are usually not affected. Siguro if actor ka, might be affected kasi medyo hindi na believable to be in love with a leading lady, when there are so many straight actors to choose from.

  21. Back to the darkness ka na Daryl after this issue. Lumitaw ka lang dahil nakikisawsaw ka.

    ReplyDelete
  22. If gender is not even suppose to be a big deal, then why announce it? May pa truth truth will set you free pang nalalaman. The fact that everybody's saying its okay to come out is like saying "sabihin mo kung bakla ka para alam ko kung sino bakla dito" still makes it a big deal. If you mean "gender equality", then "coming out" to any gender shouldnt even be an obligation to anyone.

  24. Wow so I'm so disappointed Daryl. Wag natin pilitin ang kahit na sino na mag come out if hindi pa sila ready lalo na kung hindi pa din nila tanggap sa sarili nila. Kung ano man ang kasarian nila mapa straight or lgbt+ wala na tayong pakialam lalo at hindi tayo nap perwisyo. Mga taong kagaya mo ang dahilan kung bakit may lgbt+ na nag s-suicide kakapilit nyong mag come out sila lalo silang na p pressure at nahihirapan tanggapin ang sitwasyon nila. Hindi mo ikina taas ang mga sinabi mo Daryl please just mind your own business. You're right there's nothing wrong with being gay (lgbt+) pero what you're doing is shaming people na hindi pa tanggap ang sarili nila and you're hust another bully for that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Daryl let them come out whenever they want to,it doesn’t mean kinahihiya nila ang maging gay,it’s easy for u to say to come out, there are a lot of factors to consider.it’s none of your business.

    ReplyDelete
  26. People who taunt flawed masculinity are the ones at fault just because it's not the norm or their basis of being straight. Here we see a perfect example of a person who does not understand how it is to be part of LGBTQ+ community though they have friends but they fail to emphatize and learn. Such bigotry is one of the reason why we can not progress as human beings with our backward mindset.

    ReplyDelete
Ang sexuality ng co-worker mo is none of your business. How can someone be free if nagout sila if pagchichismisan nyo after?

Sinu sino mga nakakasama neto at parang may ibig syang sabihin with matching caps lock pa sa nasaksihan nya in 4 years.

I swear.

    ReplyDelete
  33. If being openly gay or part of the LGBTQ+ community is easy then at this point in time there should no longer be terms like coming out or in the closet. You Daryl do not understand the struggles a gay person undergoes each day fearing his/her orientation will be known. In a society where discrimination and bullying is still prevalent, one can not just out him/herself without affecting how others see that person differently. Easy for straight people to say come out because they don't have the need to do so. Likewise, who are you to label someone as gay just because he/she doesn't fit your straight standards. Let any person freely identify his/her own sexual orientation and reveal it at his/her terms. Has anyone pressured you to come out as straight? We can only say your point makes sense if you have been in LGBTQ+'s shoes.

  39. 1. Your opinion as a straight person reflects how you are still unaware or misinformed about diff types of LGBTQ+++ despite being surrounded with them in your industry
    2. Your gender too does not define the talents you can share to people, i agree, but it also does not make them less talented if they choose to be "in the closet"
    3. Time will come for them when they feel the need to be out, or, it won't come.. Eitherway, just respect how they live their lives even if you are not comfortable as to what their sexuality is. Just treat people as people nonetheless.

    ReplyDelete

Ingat, bye!

    ReplyDelete
  42. unless maturuan din ang society NOT TO BULLY, DISCRIMINATE, AND JUDGE GAYS in person or sa social media, siguro mas madali for us na mag out! the problem is not the closeted ones, tingin ko yung society na until now ang daming kayang sabihin against gays/lbgtq community. so daryl di mo din masisisi yung closeted if di sya mag out. may point ka yes! pero di madali gawin yan unless nasa katayuan ka nung closeta na nakatira sa lipunan na maraming judgemental na tao.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  44. sa US daming actors nag out.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hay naku, sa pinas kasi, it’s still too backward.

    ReplyDelete
  46. This is so wrong, so easy for you to say.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Daryl's point is wag na rumeact kung di ka naman totoong ganun sa sinasabi ng kung sino. at kung totoong gay ka nga oh eh ano naman? simple and straight to the point naman sinabi nya. just like what lea salonga said before, they owe the public their best performance each time they present their talent, their personal thing should not be brought out for public consumption. never wash your dirty linen in public. that is it pansit.
