      Delete
    5. So this is normal for you? Maybe it's time to reconsider your definition of normal.

      Delete
    6. 12:19 define "normal"!.... are you?

      Delete
    7. Kahit saan gov agency ganyan. Kaloka!

    10. 7:40. Paulit-ulit kong naranasan yan. Yung ilang beses doon talagang napipikon ako at nagde-demand na kausapin yung in charge or supervisor. My father will caution me na huwag mag-iskandalo pero at times, kailangan mong mag-ingay para lang makakuha ng maayos na serbisyo. Kaya I don't blame Lauren if she feels that way.

Taxpayers is always right!

  2. Did you get an appointment prior going there? I did not experience it when I got and renewed my passport.

    1. True that! Just renewed mine a month ago and di ka naman magkakaproblema at dire-derecho lang ang processing kung may appointment ka although mag-aantay pa rin syempre! Feeling ko nga tong si ate gurl eh na “VIP” pa kasi parang ang dating ng statement niya on that day lang siya nag process at walang appointment pero kung umasta akala mo masyadong ispesyal! Kaloka si ate gurl! LOL LOL

    2. I have to agree with you on this. My last experience with DFA went smoothly. The only thing that annoyed me is their available slots sa website nila. most of them are already filled up. I stalked their website every night for like 3 months to get a schedule. sabisabi mga travel agencies daw kinukuha lahat ng mga slots saka nireresale ng mga bwisit. but anyway, me and my daughter got our appointment online 3 months bago kami magbakasyon sa Pinas. We have to renew ksi expired na PP namin pag pabalik na ng US. and we will have our US naturalization pagbalik. everything went smoothly from windows to windows. i'm honestly impressed compared to my experience 5 years prior. laki ng inimprove mga atche! from the table ni manong guard na check ng online appointment, sa window for docs verification and payment, sa picture taking and lbc window impressed ako
saka junakis ko. mabilis din at very organized. even my 8 yrs old daughter who grew up in the US commented on how smooth the process is(she has very different opinion sa Mang Inasal. inis sya dun ksi ang gulo daw ng mga tao saka employees lol). also, nakalagay naman sa email na sinend sayo after setting an appointment and sa website kung ano mga kailangan na requirements. I know they will ask for at least 2 valid IDs, by the time will be renewing, my Phil Passport is already expired. I provided my old SSS ID and my green card (married name) and US marriage certificate/license to justify the different last name. very understanding naman si kuyang verifier. tinanggap naman along with my birth certificate. Saka infairness sa kanila di amoy carpet or araw or alimuhon sa loob.

    3. also the whole process starting sa doc verification only took an hour or so. for me, that's pretty fast considering haba lagi pila.

    4. lets not assume wala namang sinabing passport renewal. i dont think she’s that dumb to go there without an appointment if she only wants her passport renewed. baka tungkol sa ibang travel-related documents or her dual citizenship at baka no appointment needed for those and you just need to go there personally. pls correct me if im wrong in this

      Delete
    5. I agree with you 1:00. Yung mga tao kasi pag narinig DFA akala puro passport application at renewal lang.

      Delete
    6. Te di lang passport pinapaprocess sa DFA. May document authentication/red ribbon din and etc kaloka din pagassume mo 12:33

      Delete

      Delete

  3. wonder whats with her documents to have that long waiting time for passport renewal... or depende ba kung saang branch nagparenew?? I got mine renewed in less than an hour from start to finish..

    1. i didn’t read anything about passport renewal though, she said just documents. it could be anything or something to do with her dual citizenship

    2. Did she mention it was for passport renewal? Kasi it could be something else..

  4. I understand senior citizen or PWDs but at the height of technology and internet.. Use it in time like these wag puro for FB or IG lang. May FAQs sa website, research sa Google about procedures and making appointments before going there kasi public knowledge na mahirap ang walk in sa DFA

    1. Truuu !

      Delete
    2. Agree with both of you 12.38 & 1.34.

#epal

  5. First time ako nakarinig ng reklamo about DFA. Mostly ay all praises sa bilis. Gurl, research ka muna kung ano ang requirements bago ka pumunta dun and yes, it makes sense to make an appointment.

    1. From her story parang hindi lang naman siya yung nakapila ng matagal sa DFA nung araw na yun. If they really are efficient bakit matagal yung pila?

Ngek! 🤪

  7. Hmm mukhang di dumaan s matinding pilahan to nung apply kaya ngayon may pa "horror" stories siya... ate girl kung may appointment ka pakabilis mag renew ngayon.. i thank u

You are aware na may ibang transaction na pinaprocess sa dfa bukod sa passport application at renewal, are you? Kakaloka mga tao makapabash-hindi ako si lauren

      Delete
    2. Wala sya sinabing nagrenew ate. It can be something else. Don’t be quick to judge

      Delete
  8. If I were sa shoes nya maiinis ako. I got my passport renewed less than an hr lang.

  10. window 1 doesn't know what he/she is doing. i hate it when employees are so incompetent like this argh!

  11. People analyze before commenting. She did not say renewal. It maybe something else. When you go to embassy it's not always renewal of passports only.

    1. DFA daw hindi embassy. Sundin mo advice mo.

  12. Kailangan mag improve ang sistema. Hayaan mo siyang magreklamo

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hello, after reading all the mean comments. Hindi ako makarelate. Pangkariniwang mamamayan ako at walang koneksyon. I had been renewing my passport sa DFA's new system wala ako nagiging problema. sa scheduling and process. either swerte ako or maayos ang araw nila tuwing magrerenew ako. I renew my passport 6months before it expires, para di ako mangarag. I take it as my responsibility to check lalo na if im planning a trip. If may questions ako, I call or check their site/news and not on the same day of my renewal ako magtatanong, lalo na sa concerns/requirements that I am not sure about. May sumasagot naman. I arrive an hour and half ahead my schedule time, kasi 30mins before nagpapapila na sina manong security guard. Even when for new application, nung sinamahan ko kapatid ko wala naman problema. mabilis lang ang proseso.

I can say/notice this improvement, kasi naranasan ko ang application prior, sa DFA Manila, ung panahon na wala pang satellite office at walang maayos/mabilis na sistema.

Minsan, hindi lang naman sa sistema yan. Its how a person prepares and reacts to the situation.

    1. Hindi naman yata passport yung pinoproblema eh.

  14. May sinabi ba about renewal ng passport? Baka authentication ng documents.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  16. Saang DFA ba yan? Last time nagrenew ako sa aseana, took me only 45mins.

Sobrang waste of time talaga!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. anu ba kukunin nia? wala namang mahabang pila sa authentication ng documents ah. guard nga mismo nag aabot ng form na fill up-an. sa ali mall un ewan ko sa main or ibang branch. saka anu ba tinatanong nia?
