    1. Why would Erwan counter the "reaction video" of legit Italian chefs over his BUTTERY CARBONARA version? Just why?

They are real, legit and authentic Italian chefs who studied and labored for years in real kitchens. Just why again? Haha!

Erwan must have been aware how ITALIANS are so privy and loyal to their recipes, tradition and cuisine.

    2. 2:06 why not? it was his version of carbonara.

    3. Pikon si erwan. Ayaw ma-criticize, eh youtuber sya, gusto nya lahat praises?

    4. Agree 3:30, ang OA ni Erwan. May naniniwala ba diyan? Point for point pa talaga ang response.

    5. He is a cook not a chef

    6. Actually ganyan talaga mga Italians. May mga naka work ako before na mga Italians sobrang proud sila sa mga pasta nila at kinocorrect pa nila pag nakita nila na mali yung pag gawa ng pasta. Meron silang standard.

    7. Hindi nmn sya napikon he was just explaining kasi un ung version nya.

Leave me alone! Lol

    2. Then he shouldn’t call it carbonara, because it’s not anymore, the way he does it.

  4. wala akong ibang masabi kundi I love you Erwan

  5. I remember watching The Two Greedy Italians on the Lifestyle Channel. There was one episode in the southern part of Italy where young Italian chefs were creating food fusion in their restaurant, but calling it by the same traditional Italian food term. The hosts, Carluccio (God rest his soul) and Genaro, remarked that if you they wanted to make a food fusion, by all means do it "BUT GIVE IT ANOTHER NAME." Especially the Italians, their traditional recipes ARE VERY SACRED. Ex. Putting ketchup on spaghetti sauce is fine, BUT DON'T CALL IT SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE. Putting butter in pasta is fine, BUT DON'T CALL IT CARBONARA. #mytwocents

    3. Ganun din naman sa atin, we criticize each other's adobo. Yung iba may kamatis, may asukal, may sibuyas, etc.

    4. I recently traveled in Milan, Venice & Rome pero hindi ako nasarapan sa mga restaurants na kinainan namin.

    5. 4:50 agree. Hindi pasok sa panlasang pinoy ang maasim

      Delete
    6. 4:50 traditional Pinoy ka nga hahaha

      Delete
    7. @4:50 uncultured ka lang talaga

      Delete

      Delete
    10. @450 maybe you ate at the wrong restuarant.

For recommendations, You can check tripadvisor.

    11. Yaan nyo na si 4:50 mga beks, it’s either na tourist trap sya or di nya talaga type ag lasa ng italian food. For me naman, masarap talaga sila magluto, yung simpleng noodle dish lang, nagagawa nilang sobrang special. Next time you go there bes, eat where the locals eat.

  6. The Italian chefs had too much time on their hands

      Delete
    2. Flour and egg lang pala so inisip kong gayahin. But in the end nahhh.. Bili nalang ako nung ready to cook haha

    3. 2:36 fresh pasta is more savory and boils to al dente in less than 3 minutes. But even Italians prefer the dried pasta. History to dried pasta was to avoid spoilage during the war.

    ReplyDelete

    1. @2:10, Aroz means rice. How can you say Aroz caldo kung oats ang ginamit? Can i call a dish dinuguan kung walang dugo?

      Delete
    2. 2:52 lighten up. He made a healthier version of arroz caldo using oats and mushrooms.

      Delete
    3. @2:52, His dishes are pretentious. I remember watching him make palabok with uni. Ugghhh...

      Delete
    4. Mas porridge ata kung oats? Not sure

      Delete

    7. I agree. Erwan is overrated. The food in his restaurants are overpriced.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The review came from real Italian chefs. Not just one but three. Push mo pa na you did nothing wrong. A little humbleness won't hurt.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Of course they're gonna react kasi carbonara originated in Italy. This just reminds me how that Thai chef reacts to Gordon Ramsay's pad thai.

    ReplyDelete
Qt agree ako 2:01 he is boring pikon and pretentious.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well explained di traditional ang ginawa nya. Nakakataw though, sa sinabi salt in the end parang steak. Haha.
