Walang masama sa "Can I use you?". I can put aside na racist si Robin, I can give him the benefit of the doubt for that. Pero you can't deny he was rude to the contestant.
Why are all these ppl defending him even when he thinks he has done nothing wrong? Defensive much? He can't take the fact that what he did was rude (intentional or not) and ppl are calling him out for it? It speaks volumes that u have him posting and liking all these things ppl are saying to defend him...pero kala ko in his eyes he didn't do anything wrong? Or he just doesn't want to admit na he's a hypocrite?
Oh boy, if it's not your dad i bet your stand will be different. No person in his proper state of mind would say na walang mali sa ginawa ng papa mo.
Robin was not rude, he was just standing right there showing he's proud to be a filipino. Common sense people
Tsss... Alam ng mali, dinidefend pa.
He was rude. Nasa PGT sila at wala sa balagtasan (can’t think of any occasion na dapat pure Tagalog). The show accepts foreign contestants at walang namang rule that bars non-Tagalog speakers from entering. Besides, English is an official language of Pinas. The backlash would have been the same had the guy came from another country.
Ako nga when I used to study in paris, I really studied their language not just to properly communicate with them but also it is my social obligation and a sign of RESPECT to learn french.
I am also studying French here in Belgium. The thing with the people here, pag nakikita nilang nagsa-struggle ako e they talk to me in English, including mga profs ko. Hindi nila ako PINIPILIT dahil nasa teritoryo nila ako. That also counts as RESPECT... and empathy,... and consideration...
English pa more.
You're dragging bianca on this issue because......? Intrigera ka talaga ano? Better for her to say nothing at all. Kayo naman naghanap ng gulo. Haaay, ang gulo nyo!
Yan tayo, eh. Tinawag mong improper at disrespectful yung pagkakasabi nung bata na "can I use you" pero yung harsh tone ng dad mo dinismiss mo lang as "that's the way my father is." Naintindihan mo ba yung inconsistency mo? I'm guessing dito ka kasi komportable?
Funny ang last line nya na "I think we should define this situation how it ended, not how it started". Gurrl.
I think what she meant by that is di man naging maganda ang initial reaction ni Robin kay Jiwon eh in the end naman humingi sya ng pasensya at nagpaliwanag
"Can I use you?".. why single this out when you know the person is also not as fluent in English? There's nothing wrong in admitting that you find fault in what your dad did. Kaysa naman you justify what he did with such a weak excuse.
Also, tignan mo muna ang sarili nyo. Aren't your posts in English??? San ang pagmamahal sa bayan nyan??? Hypocrites.. tsk tsk
- When Robin Padilla asked the korean guy to read "Pilipinas Got Talent" and told him to speak in Pilipino was funny kasi "got talent" is in english. Hahahahaha.
And the show went well as it is. Tapos ang issue. Ganun talaga ang buhay. Helloooo pinapahaba niyo ang issue. Wag ganon nega masyado. Makikita rin namang respect is there at the end, both parties. So lets all move on. Haha
Sobrang mapride itong pamilyang to. Bulag sa kamalian. Lots of Filipinos are joining foreign contests, they are lucky they were not treated the same way as Robin did. He is simply rude. He thinks he can promote himself as patriotic kuno by putting down other people.
Please stop justifying his rudeness. Maryosep. And there is nothing wrong with saying "can I use you?". I'm in the recruiting and staffing industry here in the U.S and we often say about a candidate, "feel free to use him/her for any of your suitable positions".

Haha.
ReplyDeleteI hope Kylie will not defend her father and just be mum about the issue. I perceived her to be open-minded.
ReplyDeleteSi Bianca Gonzales na napakaraming opinion, hindi nagtweet about this issue. Syempre, friend niya si Mariel so tahimik na lang muna sya now.
ReplyDeleteYou're dragging bianca on this issue because......?
DeleteIntrigera ka talaga ano? Better for her to say nothing at all. Kayo naman naghanap ng gulo.
Haaay, ang gulo nyo!
So true!!!
