We are a sovereign country and no one is a above a state under anarchy. Even the UN. And its much better if UN focused on the terrorists that for years they couldn't even resolve. And manong Jim, bakit mas importante po ang human rights ng mga law breakers than the law abiders, paki tanong na din po ito kay Etta Rosales at Leila De Lima.

      Delete
    2. Bakit nasali si Etta Rosales dito? Martial law victim yan? Kaya pala.

    5. It's obvious by now, the President lacks skills in international diplomacy. This may have negative effect in the long run for our country.

You can wothdraw being a signatory to a treaty or have reservations. Ang US, liberal advocate pero hindi pumupirma sa Human Rights treaty dahil may isang state pa sila na naghahatol ng death penalty. Indonesia and China have death penalty pero di kailangan umalis ng UN.

    2. 6:57, based on most comments, mukhang mas maraming di nakaintindi. Satirical comments are taken too seriously and literally.

      Delete
    3. Understanding of irony and satire involves analytical minds. You have to take into consideration the words expressed and relate them to the background of the person speaking. If they are contradictory, then it is satire / irony. If you take the words seriously and literally, you miss the whole point.

      Delete
    4. 6:21 Let's not be patronizing and pretend to be "analytical" just because we got Jim's message. I got his point loud and clear without batting an eyelash.

This is not his decision alone! I-analyze mong mabuti kung ano ginagawa nya. 14. I support Duterte on his advocacy against drugs & corruption but I am against the way he responds to criticism. Can we have someone to be in the middle, tamang timpla lang.

It is ok to disagree but Duterte seems like a bratty child after being told by his parents.

Remember aside from power requires great responsibility but it also corrupts.

  42. For those who ask about what Jim Paredes has done for the country, oh yes, he has done a lot. I wish that if we so strongly claim that he has done nothing, then this claim is backed up by research we have done to prove this. Jim Paredes and the rest of the APO used their music to bring people together to "sing" their protest on the violations of Martial Law. I remember attending a concert in the Ateneo Blue Eagle gym to listen to them sing and people just getting together to get a sense of oneness with each other. You see for those of you who were to young to experience the 70's and the early 80's, it was a time to be fearful and paranoid of the police, the military, the government. Jim and Buboy and Danny could be seen with their fists clenched in the air to show indignation. And surely, they were just as fearful as everyone else.

  53. Diba Yellowtard tong si Jim? At diba grabe yung defense niya kay PNoy during SAP44?

His comments have no credibility as he is clearly biased. Buti sana kung galeng sa isang campo talaga ni Duterte or neutral people.
