    1. Liza, its a very complex world we live in. Too many beliefs uprise and sadly, we have to suffer the consequences. Humanity becomes underrated :( and so does my faith in humanity.

    2. There will be no peace...coz THIS WORLD IS DESTINED TO BE DESTROYED! Its already in the Bible... READ REVELATION SO YOU WILL HAVE AN IDEA WHAT WILL HAPPEN...

    3. @1:58, you read too much into the Revelation. If something is going to destroy it, it'll be science related like an asteroid or getting sucked into a black hole or people destroying the Earth. You don't need the bible to know that it'll happenn. We're not the only planet in this universe you know...

    12. I understand what Liza is trying to say. It is the sense of powerlessness in stopping all of these violence. True that nothing can be done because we have different perspectives in life. To hope is all we can do. Hope that eventually they'll come to their senses that there are people suffering. But then again I remember that scene wherein Oskar Schindler is trying to give a train load of Jews water, Amon Goeth said: This is very cruel, Oskar. You're giving them hope. You shouldn't do that. *That's* cruel!

  2. This is the norm now for the Syrian kids and their families who were not able to leave the country since the Arab Spring in Syria around 5 years ago. Fighting between the government and the rebels had caused security vacuum and had been the reason why Syria is also having the daesh in their midst. So much infrastructure and even ancient heritage sites like Palmyra had been destroyed. So many refugees had been abused and some sold as slaves. Some areas were totally cut off that children had died from starvation. Syria has a long way to go in terms of rebuilding and whether there would be peace at all.

  3. She is right. It's so heartbreaking to see little kids suffering like this. They can't even live a normal life without having to worry about being bombed on and getting killed on a daily basis. We the people focus our energy on petty things when these people, specially the kids suffer on an everyday basis and they can't do anything about it. We worry about what we look, how this person looks, so on and so forth. These people's plight needs to be seen and heard. So proud that Liza is using her fame to speak about it so no one forgets and turn their back on what's going on with the rest of the world.

  5. An eye-opener to all the shallow fans. Because beyond the glitz and glamour of showbiz, this sight of an injured girl is prevalent in other parts of the world. Fan wars are so insignificant compared to the wars against humanity. Let's all count our blessings and be kind to one another.

    3. It depends on the magnitude of ones personal crisis, 6:39. Ang nabanggit lang naman ni 12:57 is yung fan wars vs the war in Syria.

Just because she posted this doesn't mean she's not nationalistic or walang empathy sa kapwa pinoy nya. Stop assuming. Buti nga aware sya sa mga global events

HUMANITY nga dw e..it transcends race and religion! She mentioned unpublished deaths happening "around the whole world". Di focused ung message nya sa Syria lng. Maybe the photo triggered some emotions in her, pero ung bulk ng msg was in general. And cut her some slack, will you? She just turned 18! She's still learning and will continue to learn and be more socially aware as she grow older.

    7. "Have a little more empathy to our kababayans" . So ang empathy may degree or levels dapat, dependent on whether kababayan mo o hindi? Mind you, andaming foreign help/aid na nareceive ang Pinas after Typhoon Haiyan because they were empathetic to us. AT lahat ng bansa may problema, kahit developed nations (for instance here in AU:homelessness, drug epidemic) pero nangingibabaw ang humanity kaya they choose to help. FOR ME, humanity should come first before nationalism.

Do you question your friends why are they posting about it? Can't she do the same without people like looking for something wrong with it?

    ReplyDelete
  23. anon 11:29 I think you need to study more. What an asinine analogy you just made. Just because I'm in a showbiz page means i do nothing for OUR country? How sure are you? Kilala mo ba ako? Do you know what I do? Oh and kilala mo ba talaga si Liza? Yes, she's only 18 hence she needs to learn more and it wouldn't hurt if she looks into her own "bakuran". This is the first time I ever commented about any news about Liza because for 1 I have nothing to comment. This time I do. She needs to focus FIRST on what's happening in HER OWN country. She should make a difference FIRST HERE. Kikitid ng utak ng mga fantards nya. Now, I'm starting to hate her because of the kind of fans she has.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ikaw ang makitid ang utak. Situations and tensions in Syria is 100x worse than what is currently going on in the Philippines, walang masama kung yun ang i-special mention niya. And minention niya rin na deaths AROUND THE WORLD so kasama na ang Pinas doon. Tigilan mo na pagkanega mo. At sasabihin mo pa hate mo si Liza because of fans? How shallow. Sabihin mo di mo lang talaga siya gusto in the first place.

      Delete
    2. If she made a post about concern for her own homeland, then what? Some double standard hater would then comment "Uunahin mo yung sariling bansa mo when CHILDREN are dying in Syria? Selfish much?" The message is for all of humanity in general. Your sentiments is basically the same as the terrorist who are causing all this (sorry if I offended you), why? You are thinking more of yourself, your own rights, your own survival when we as the human race can do something as simple as spreading love in this God awful world. Try to look at the bigger picture. The Philippines is in a dire situation, but Syria has it 1000x worse. Do you see bombs exploding around you 24/7? Are there any innocent children being killed here in our country? I agree that extrajudicial killings here in the Philippines are dire and is getting worse, but PEOPLE (MEN, WOMEN, CHILDREN AND THE OLD) ARE EXPERIENCING GENOCIDE HALF WAY AROUND THE WORLD. Liza's is about love, and in my book, any message which advocates peace, love and unity is and never will be a bad thing.

    5. "She NEEDS to focus on.." "She SHOULD make a difference here.." While those are admirable traits, who are you to tell her what she should or shouldnt do/feel? Let her be passionate about what she wants to be passionate about! Let her share her own reflections/thoughts without people like you meddling and telling her that she should do/feel this or that instead!

    6. 12:32 nobody cares about or they know personally. as what you've said. you don't liza you don't know if she sympathize with our kababayans. and kahit nga sa neighborhood namin may nagpapatayan but it does not mean na dapat makisasaw ako or mag intervene sa lahat ng crime. and she does made a difference in her country hindi nga lang nya sinasabi in simplest thing going to charity and donating blood. edi ikaw ang mas makitid ang utak you're hating her because of her fans? anong utak meron ka.sabaw? and lastly you're asking kung kilala ba namin ikaw or alam namin ano ginagawa mo. walng ay pake sayo. just to let you know. 12:32

      2. Have you done something for your country? Fyi, Liza's "fantards" were able to - silently and without any media fanfare (at Pinatubo, sometime May 2016).
      3. Liza has a mind of her own and you do not have any right at all to question what she wants to post. I would not question your post - however, that may seem a big disservice to anyone passing/ browsing FP's site.

    15. Funny. You talk about focusing on helping the country pero ikaw, simpleng nag disagree lang sayo fans ni Liza,"HATE" mo na agad yung tao (kahit wala naman siya ginawa sayo personally). While Liza was advocating for peace and love and unity, ikaw HATE naman ang pnpropagate. Hay nako.

  24. Yes the world is cruel that's why we need empathy. Yes I am a Filipino and so much is going on in our country but being being quiet about it doesn't mean you don't care. The issue in Syria is a different thing and one couldn't really not get affected esp if the CHILDREN are involved. Seeing what happend to the little boy Omran and other kids not only made me sad but really cry buckets. So people need to loosen up about hate comments about Liza because that's a natural reaction esp if you have a special heart for children. I have the same question actually. What happened to humanity? Because just reading some of the comments here just validated that Filipinos too can be heartless.

Yes, people may say na "parelevant" masyado tong si celeb but this is one of their purposes as celebrities.

Now we know Liza is smart enough to use her celebrity status on what really matters. Kaya lalong dumarami nahuhumaling sayo at nagiging tourist attraction na si baby girl.
