Sob. Ako nga gusto mag sumugod sa syria at least tumulong man lang. Go liza
Liza, its a very complex world we live in. Too many beliefs uprise and sadly, we have to suffer the consequences. Humanity becomes underrated :( and so does my faith in humanity.
There will be no peace...coz THIS WORLD IS DESTINED TO BE DESTROYED! Its already in the Bible... READ REVELATION SO YOU WILL HAVE AN IDEA WHAT WILL HAPPEN...
@1:58, you read too much into the Revelation. If something is going to destroy it, it'll be science related like an asteroid or getting sucked into a black hole or people destroying the Earth. You don't need the bible to know that it'll happenn. We're not the only planet in this universe you know...
aww Liza so clueless. ha ha . That's the real world Liza. duh.
5:13 You are horrible.
grabe. yang mga ganyang sagot ni 5:13, sila ung ang sarap iexchange para dun sa mga bata sa syria
I have to agree masyadong emo yung caption ni Liza. The world out there is really cruel. #fact
Anon 834 it is a horrible world out there. That's hard reality. Reach out while we all can help.
5:13 yes cruel world because of people like you.
10:14 you're a cynic. #fact
It is. But you can always reach out and try to help in your own lil way. #fact 10:14
I understand what Liza is trying to say. It is the sense of powerlessness in stopping all of these violence. True that nothing can be done because we have different perspectives in life. To hope is all we can do. Hope that eventually they'll come to their senses that there are people suffering. But then again I remember that scene wherein Oskar Schindler is trying to give a train load of Jews water, Amon Goeth said: This is very cruel, Oskar. You're giving them hope. You shouldn't do that. *That's* cruel!
This is the norm now for the Syrian kids and their families who were not able to leave the country since the Arab Spring in Syria around 5 years ago. Fighting between the government and the rebels had caused security vacuum and had been the reason why Syria is also having the daesh in their midst. So much infrastructure and even ancient heritage sites like Palmyra had been destroyed. So many refugees had been abused and some sold as slaves. Some areas were totally cut off that children had died from starvation. Syria has a long way to go in terms of rebuilding and whether there would be peace at all.
She is right. It's so heartbreaking to see little kids suffering like this. They can't even live a normal life without having to worry about being bombed on and getting killed on a daily basis. We the people focus our energy on petty things when these people, specially the kids suffer on an everyday basis and they can't do anything about it. We worry about what we look, how this person looks, so on and so forth. These people's plight needs to be seen and heard. So proud that Liza is using her fame to speak about it so no one forgets and turn their back on what's going on with the rest of the world.
True, very true. I cried so much after watching the story of thatblittle boy named Omran in Aleppo. This has stop. Spread love, everyone!
Sadly, the little boy's elder 10 year old brother did not survive his wounds.
An eye-opener to all the shallow fans. Because beyond the glitz and glamour of showbiz, this sight of an injured girl is prevalent in other parts of the world. Fan wars are so insignificant compared to the wars against humanity. Let's all count our blessings and be kind to one another.
You know what I beg to disagree. Hindi mo pwede itrivialize ang problema ng isang tao just because it's not happening to you. May kanya kanya tayong krus na pinapasan. We have our own personal wars.
It depends on the magnitude of ones personal crisis, 6:39. Ang nabanggit lang naman ni 12:57 is yung fan wars vs the war in Syria.
To some kasi mundo nila yung idol nila. You can't expect them to care for anything else, 12:16. 👌
Sad talaga yung nangyayari sa Syria :( pray lng tayo liza
I like the part where she said she's not perfect. That we're not perfect.
tama siya pero what good could words do without any action.
It starts with words, with consciousness of what is happening in the world. Why do I get the feeling that you are trying to be negative about this? Hope I'm wrong though.
teh di mo ba nagets? choose love and peace over anything else.. and yet eto ka trying magpakanega. do small things.. di naman sinabi na sumugod ka sa syria at iligtas mo sila. dun tayo sa realistic
dear, advocate for peace,,alangan naman sumugud sya dun dba? in her her young mind she thought of that. she has the medium to advocate peace because of her celebrity status and 3million followers. it is a small step, nut at least she still did it.
As if nmn may follower sya sa ig n rebel pra mabasa un..
Liza for president of United nations
Walang presidente sa UN, it's Secretary-General. Research muna bago bash beh.
Intellegent Liza may laman. Hindi pabebe lang
Well said Liza! Support!
Huwag na, baka mabastos din siya ni D30. Galit si lolo sa UN di ba?
Eto na naman tayo eh. Kesa mag point out ng mali, y don't u ask urself if ano magagawa mo to help.
Hirap ba talagang mag isip?
Mga human rights eklavu punta kayo ng Syria at dun magrally.
bawal mag impart ng sympathy bes?
weh. ako nga gusto ko pumunta ng syria para tumulong sa summer pero bawal and wala akong certain skill to help in time of danger
bes bawala mag pahayag ng pakikramay. and besides baka pag apak palang nya sa syria atakihin na sya ng asthma nya.so ano matutulong nya
2:00 ang daming na nag rally doon pero war pa rin. the bes is prayer
some people really need to shy away from the internet, just like you
As if may na gawa kang mabuti to help syria
korek 255. mga taing hinahanapan ng gawa ang iba samantalaga wala din syang solusyon sa problema. pareparehas lang tayong walang magawa sa sitwasyon nila kundi magdasal at umasa na matapos na ang patayan.
Why doesn't she ask her tatay duterte? Or is she too embarrassed now for supporting an uncouth and vulgar pilipines president Hahahha. #be a partner for change pa more hahhahah.
San mo naman nalaman na supporter siya ni duterte? Ogie clarified na wala siyang ineendorse na kahit sinong politician
1:59 don't bother. This brightside is too ****** to care.
Kudos to Liza for posting this. I have always admired her for being down to earth and goodhearted. Now I respect her even more for showing concern for the tragic events in Syria. Am a supporter for life Hopie.
Yeah, but she doesn't even want to mention as to what is happening in this country.
As long as you can say anything huh? Have YOU even done anything for humanity? It's people like you that don't deserve internet access, I swear.
4:47 Sige nga, I want to hear your thoughts and sentiments on the state of the country. Share how you feel about it. We're all ears..
Ate mas maayos ang pamumuhay ng 1000x sa Pilipinas kaysa sa Syria.
Oh please. Will it solve anything if she will mention every issue in this country
Why? What is happening to this country? Try to listen to international news channels dear.
@447AM: Can we not find anything good in her post? She is only 18 and yet she was able to emphatize.
Wow Liza with this in her mind, she could be the future Angelina Jolie of the Philippines.
I really admire her. She's not just your typical pretty it girl. I hope one day Liza will also be an ambassadress like Audrey, Angelina and Emma.
Dapat sa mga ganito mgfocus ang UN ito talaga nangangailangan ng tulong sila talaga yung aping api nghahanap hustisya katarungan at masisilungan😢😰😥
Beauty with brain and lovely heart talaga si LIZA
This is well and good but i hope she focuses more to what is happening in OUR country. We have many problems here, we too have a civil war. Sumakay lang ata sy sa picture nung batang na-rescue rin sa Syria. Have a little more empathy to OUR kababayans, Liza. Not a basher, just nationalistic.
Anon 940. True.
I'm sure pag may comment sya about our country's present state, sasabihin nakikisawsaw. There are also things happening outside the country that are of importance. Just because she posted this doesn't mean she's not nationalistic or walang empathy sa kapwa pinoy nya. Stop assuming. Buti nga aware sya sa mga global events
How do you know that she doesnt have empathy to our kababayans? Kilala mo siya? Sumakay? Sa haba ng message niya, yan ung take away mo, na sumasakay sya sa issue? Wow. HUMANITY nga dw e..it transcends race and religion! She mentioned unpublished deaths happening "around the whole world". Di focused ung message nya sa Syria lng. Maybe the photo triggered some emotions in her, pero ung bulk ng msg was in general. And cut her some slack, will you? She just turned 18! She's still learning and will continue to learn and be more socially aware as she grow older.
it's not all about the philippines. masama.ba makiramay sa pinagdadaanan ng ibang bansa? kaloka. nationalistic ka pala eh. ano magagawa mo para sa pinas? bat ka nasa showbiz page. kaloka.
may masasabi pa rin. her message is not just about Syria. Ang peace ba may pinipiling lugar?

She's still learning and will continue to learn and be more socially aware as she grow older.
"Have a little more empathy to our kababayans" . So ang empathy may degree or levels dapat, dependent on whether kababayan mo o hindi? Mind you, andaming foreign help/aid na nareceive ang Pinas after Typhoon Haiyan because they were empathetic to us. AT lahat ng bansa may problema, kahit developed nations (for instance here in AU:homelessness, drug epidemic) pero nangingibabaw ang humanity kaya they choose to help. FOR ME, humanity should come first before nationalism.
I agree 12:45, false nationalism is sometimes the root cause of all these wars.
I live in mindanao and I can guarantee you that the situation out here is not a bit comparable to the events is syria. We do have war here and there but we live.
I believe she should be entitled to post what she feels. With all due respect, it would be irresponsible to remark that "Sumakay lang ata sy sa picture nung batang na-rescue rin sa Syria." Let's not be judgmental of other's intentions.
940&10:16, tapos ano? Ibabash nyo sya kase nakikialam sya eh artista lang nmn syaWag nga kayo buti nga yong bata may pakialam at aware sya sa nangyayari eh.She is just promoting love and peace.Ano ang kahalagahan ng nationalism na yan kung wla ka nun.
Para san? Para i-bash ng mga taong kagaya mo. Para sugurin ng mga die-hard supporters ng existing government? Ang dami nag-share ng ganitong photos sa fb. Do you question your friends why are they posting about it? Can't she do the same without people like looking for something wrong with it?
anon 11:29 I think you need to study more. What an asinine analogy you just made. Just because I'm in a showbiz page means i do nothing for OUR country? How sure are you? Kilala mo ba ako? Do you know what I do? Oh and kilala mo ba talaga si Liza? Yes, she's only 18 hence she needs to learn more and it wouldn't hurt if she looks into her own "bakuran". This is the first time I ever commented about any news about Liza because for 1 I have nothing to comment. This time I do. She needs to focus FIRST on what's happening in HER OWN country. She should make a difference FIRST HERE. Kikitid ng utak ng mga fantards nya. Now, I'm starting to hate her because of the kind of fans she has.
Ikaw ang makitid ang utak. Situations and tensions in Syria is 100x worse than what is currently going on in the Philippines, walang masama kung yun ang i-special mention niya. And minention niya rin na deaths AROUND THE WORLD so kasama na ang Pinas doon. Tigilan mo na pagkanega mo. At sasabihin mo pa hate mo si Liza because of fans? How shallow. Sabihin mo di mo lang talaga siya gusto in the first place.
If she made a post about concern for her own homeland, then what? Some double standard hater would then comment "Uunahin mo yung sariling bansa mo when CHILDREN are dying in Syria? Selfish much?" The message is for all of humanity in general. Your sentiments is basically the same as the terrorist who are causing all this (sorry if I offended you), why? You are thinking more of yourself, your own rights, your own survival when we as the human race can do something as simple as spreading love in this God awful world. Try to look at the bigger picture. The Philippines is in a dire situation, but Syria has it 1000x worse. Do you see bombs exploding around you 24/7? Are there any innocent children being killed here in our country? I agree that extrajudicial killings here in the Philippines are dire and is getting worse, but PEOPLE (MEN, WOMEN, CHILDREN AND THE OLD) ARE EXPERIENCING GENOCIDE HALF WAY AROUND THE WORLD. Liza's is about love, and in my book, any message which advocates peace, love and unity is and never will be a bad thing.
Humanity>Nationalism. Humanity includes empathy to our own kababayans. Did you really try to read and understand what Liza said? Her message wasnt even focused on Syria alone! And now your starting to hate her just becauee some of her fans disagree with your opinion?Sino ngayon ang mababaw?

"She NEEDS to focus on.." "She SHOULD make a difference here.." While those are admirable traits, who are you to tell her what she should or shouldnt do/feel? Let her be passionate about what she wants to be passionate about! Let her share her own reflections/thoughts without people like you meddling and telling her that she should do/feel this or that instead!
12:32 nobody cares about or they know personally. as what you've said. you don't liza you don't know if she sympathize with our kababayans. and kahit nga sa neighborhood namin may nagpapatayan but it does not mean na dapat makisasaw ako or mag intervene sa lahat ng crime. and she does made a difference in her country hindi nga lang nya sinasabi in simplest thing going to charity and donating blood. edi ikaw ang mas makitid ang utak you're hating her because of her fans? anong utak meron ka.sabaw? and lastly you're asking kung kilala ba namin ikaw or alam namin ano ginagawa mo. walng ay pake sayo. just to let you know. 12:32
Shallow ka bes. Jut because some commenter called you out suddenly you're all defensive. Why hate Liza because of her fans? The reason is di mo na sya bet to begin with.
Ano ba naman kasi yang ideology mo? Mamili lang kung kanino or sino ang unang dadamayan?
Are you really nationalistic?? If so, ur not nationalistic enough. Our situation is way better than syria. We will do fine. There is a fine line between nationalistic and egocentric.
NASAAN ANG UN? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
1. What is the basis for you to say that those who did not take your side are Liza's "fantards"?2. Have you done something for your country? Fyi, Liza's "fantards" were able to - silently and without any media fanfare (at Pinatubo, sometime May 2016).3. Liza has a mind of her own and you do not have any right at all to question what she wants to post. I would not question your post - however, that may seem a big disservice to anyone passing/ browsing FP's site. Can't we just see the good in others and be kind?
12:32! Anu ngaun eh d basag ka ngayon! Hay naku mag-isip muna kc bago magng keyboard warrior.
12:32 FYI Liza held several charity events (including one with kids with special needs and another with the elderly) instead of a grandeous party for her 18th bday. Thats her helping in her own little way.
3:12 Kaya nga. May conditions daw ang empathy para kay 12:32. Kailangan mas may matimbang daw.
Funny. You talk about focusing on helping the country pero ikaw, simpleng nag disagree lang sayo fans ni Liza,"HATE" mo na agad yung tao (kahit wala naman siya ginawa sayo personally). While Liza was advocating for peace and love and unity, ikaw HATE naman ang pnpropagate. Hay nako.
Yes the world is cruel that's why we need empathy. Yes I am a Filipino and so much is going on in our country but being being quiet about it doesn't mean you don't care. The issue in Syria is a different thing and one couldn't really not get affected esp if the CHILDREN are involved. Seeing what happend to the little boy Omran and other kids not only made me sad but really cry buckets. So people need to loosen up about hate comments about Liza because that's a natural reaction esp if you have a special heart for children. I have the same question actually. What happened to humanity? Because just reading some of the comments here just validated that Filipinos too can be heartless.
1:24 "Any message which advocates peace, love and unity is and never will be a bad thing." TRUE.
God bless us!
lizqueen, send it to UN at unahin nila yang syria na libong inosenteng tao namamatay, kaysa pakialam nila ang pinas na daan na mga drug addicts, pushers ang namamatay!
This is what should celebreties post once in a while. We all know that we have the greatest fantards in the world. Yung mga idols dapat ng mga fantards na ito should also take part in our society today. They should also have a say.Yes, people may say na "parelevant" masyado tong si celeb but this is one of their purposes as celebrities. Now we know Liza is smart enough to use her celebrity status on what really matters. Kaya lalong dumarami nahuhumaling sayo at nagiging tourist attraction na si baby girl.
I appreciate the post but I hope she also do some research on the historical background of why this is happening.
