That is very nice of World Music Awards. But I'm iffy about them. They awarded Regine with what they call the "Legend Award" back in 2013. I guess it's for her longevity and outstanding contributions to the music scene. BUT they also made it clear that Regine has to fly over to Morocco (correct me if I'm wrong with the country) AND give a specific amount of donation to WMA's charity organization. They made this clear to her fans and her handlers. After submitting to these conditions, she will be able to recieve the award personally. Regine did not bother to do so and politely declined. I understand that WMA needs funding since the royalty who used to handle the award-giving body has let go of his obligation to them. But I find it quite unethical and to be honest, kind of cheap of them to do this. And so I understand why Regine's camp declined. Charity begins at home after all.
True. Parang finifeafure lang nila si regine para dumami ang likes at retweets from fans. 5k plus na yung likes ng regine greet post nila sa facebook. Oh well papel thank u na rin wma
